From a PM RP with Arena Snow Aleksandra sighed with relief. The prince- Rufus, that is- seemed not to see through her awful smile, and seemed mostly uninterested in her- a theme she hoped would continue on throughout their marriage. She was also comforted by the fact that he didn’t have a ridiculously long name like hers. “A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I hope that we will get to know each other better in the years to come.” Years to come. Ugh. That sounded so final, so constricting- a bit like her dress. She kept the horrid false smile on her face, even though her cheeks were beginning to ache.
Aleksandra stared at the food longingly, wishing she were allowed to eat faster. The roast beef on her plate was taunting her, daring her to eat it. She ate at a ‘ladylike’ pace, which was all about making people think that you weren’t eating anything at all, and were, in fact, a sick that had managed to grow curves.
They talked a bit longer about politics that seemed to bore both young royals, things such as how young King Henry was doing, and how charming Princess Killigra was, until Aleksandra’s mother noticed that Rufus was looking at the food strangely. “Is everything to your liking, Prince Rufus,” she asked. “If there is anything you don’t like, we’ll send something else up, straightaway.” Aleksandra winced a bit, but quickly put her porcelain smile back on. “Yes, Prince, is everything alright,” the younger female asked, efficiently catching onto the ‘Butter the Prince up’ train.
Aleksandra recognized that while her mother was trying to be welcoming to her son-in-law-to-be, Aleksandra was being rather cold. “If you are finished, I could show you your chambers for the night.” Without further invitation, she rose, dusted off her dress, and gestured for Rufus to follow her up the stairs. Her green eyes glinted in the chandelier light, and for a moment, Aleksandra was blind. Then the moment passed, and with a turn of her auburn hair, she was off.
When Aleksandra arrived at the guest room, she turned away from Rufus briefly to rub her sore and aching cheeks. By the time he caught up to her, she had turned back around and was smiling again. “This is your room. If you’d like, I’ll leave you to get settled. The servants should have your trunks up here shortly. If you would like to write a letter to the battlefront, there’s paper, pens, and ink on the desk. You have your own private bathroom. If anything is not to your liking, tell us, and we’ll find you another room for tonight. If you need anything, tell me. My room is that one, across the hall.” She jerked her head towards the pale blue double doors that lead to her room, thankful that she always closed them behind her, since what the prince would have seen was definitely not ladylike.
Behind the closed doors of her room lay countless inventions, drawings, plans, schemes, and all manner of planning. There had been a time when Aleksandra had an entire room to use for her inventions, but her mother had declared that if this hobby of hers were to continue, it would continue where nobody could accidentally run across it. Now, the girl’s room was the only place that she could truly be herself, and do all manner of ‘unladylike’ activities. Things ranging from sword practice to inventing to writing anything other than love poems went on behind closed doors in the dead of night, always hidden away the instant morning light hit them. Today had been a rare exception to this rule. The princess had been allowed to work far past sunrise, and had subsequently forgotten to put some of it away. Alright, if she was being honest- most of it was still out in the open.
“Anyway, I’ll leave you to get settled.”
From a PM RP with Fetzen Thud. Thud. Lilliana heard her guards fall to the ground. Shit, was the princess’s only thought before she was scooped up by the large stone being. She tapped on his hard exterior. “Excuse me, but why am I being kidnapped,” she asked him as politely as possible. Lilliana had, after all, been raised a princess, and was taught to be polite to strangers. She had a vague plan for escape, but really, it wasn’t much of a plan at all. As they ran into the woods, she wondered exactly how the large entity had gotten to the castle, but the answer soon became evident as they jumped onto the back of a horse whose saddle was almost broken as the being got on and placed her in front of him. “What’s your name,” Lilliana asked. “You probably already know mine,” she added as an afterthought. “Oh. And by the way, you do know that you just kidnapped a princess, right? There will be search parties,” Lilliana said, but quickly shut up when she saw the look on the male’s face.
They rode for almost an hour when they reached another tree with a horse on it. Their horse was already beginning to tire, and as they got off, Lilliana could see it shaking with exhaustion. She sighed with discomfort: the being was, as she had strongly suspected, made of rock, and she suspected that she would have bruises in the morning from where she had bumped up against his solid chest. They rode for another hour in uncomfortable silence, before stopping at another tree. This whole process occurred once more before they arrived at a cave in the side of a cliff.
From Let me Heal You with Chronos Hybrid in the 1x1 section. "Of course," Jas says, sitting up from her curled position on the floor. "Why wouldn't I be?"
Over the last two minutes she'd had before the man showed up, they'd explained Jas's job to her. "Take care of him," they'd said. "And his weapons." Now one of them jerked his chin at her. "Get to it, urchin," they said, spitting at her feet.
Jas pulls out her pitiful bag of healing supplies they'd granted her. She begins to scan his body for injuries. "This'll sting a bit," Jas says, reaching out to put the cream she has on his arm, painfully aware of her accent. Jeezus, she thinks. I sound like a heretic. It's a sword wound, probably gained in some inconsequential sword fight or other, maybe from training. She can see how thin he really is. He legitimately has no fat on him, all muscle and bone. Jas scoots closer to him. "How'd you get that wound?"

History
Family History: The Osrois had been a rich merch family until one day, their fleet of ships was attacked. Their fortune was lost, and they had nowhere to go. Tamina's parents both committed suicide, and Tamina and her older brother were left alone in Fjerda. Tamina joined the army, as did her brother, but when Tamina accidentally showed her powers, they were thrown out and were almost killed. They ran away to Ketterdam and her older brother got in deep with Pekka Rollins. They were fed very well, and Tamina learned all about the tricks and such needed to run a scheme. However, she only did little things for Rollins, like buying bread, so she wasn't tattooed. When the Scarlet Plague hit, her older brother died, and she was taken in by Rollins. During this time, she stole little things, but mostly just lived in his house. She took a couple of jobs, but nothing big. Your personal life: Tamina lost a lot. She lost her fortune to pirates. Tamina lost her brother to the Scarlet Plague, and her gentleness to the Fjerdan army. She lost her kindness to Pekka Rollins. She lost her ability to believe that magic was good to Fjerda. She lost her friendliness to the streets, her soft hands to years of work. The first word she ever spelled was loss, so I suppose it's fitting how much she lost. But she also learned. She learned to be ruthless from pirates, to have a guarded heart from the plague. She learned to fight for what she believed in from Fjerda, she learned the way of the streets from Pekka Rollins. She learned distance from the streets, and ethic and effort from years of work. And from Kaz Brekker? Well, she learned that everything can be taken away. Because that was what Kaz Brekker did.
What you want for your life: Tamina just wants to live comfortably, whatever it takes. She wants to survive, and she wants fame and money.
Extras
Character Quote(s): "Well, that's an issue. But it's yours, not mine." Theme Song: Battle for Camelot- Tartalo Music Anything Else: Inej Ghafa "No mourners, no funerals."
You live in Ketterdam. The Dime Lions (and Pekka Rollins) are gone. The only major gang left are the Dregs. You have tried desperately to erase your connections to the Lions, but it hasn't worked. Brekker and the rest of the Dregs found you and robbed you. And now, you have two options: join them, or find another way to make money. Being too lazy to build an empire from dirt (or scared to do anything else), you decide to hunt down Brekker and his gang, for better or worse. Along the way, you run into four others, also robbed, also looking for Brekker, also slightly disreputable. Seeing how the streets have taught you to be cautious, you decide to stick with them, but be careful. An ally never hurts, but you don't want to be left to die.

Rules
GM is Goddess: I have final say in everything.
Post AT LEAST once a week. However, you really should be able to post once a day.
Post with AT LEAST two posts between your posts
DON’T ‘forget’ to post. Please.
NO godmodding.
Wait until your CS has been approved in the OOC to put it in the CHAR section.
Fill the CS out all the way. Don’t leave blanks. You may skip up to two 'Character Image' spots.
NO WIPs, please. Post your final product only.
You need to give me a damn good reason to play more than one character.
No cuss words stronger than ‘Damn’. Implying it is just as good as saying it.
Don’t use ‘God’ on its own. Goddamnit is acceptable.
Variations on the F word are fine, just don’t use the actual thing.(Flip, fudge, frick, frack….)
Keep romance PG-13. There really shouldn’t be that much anyway, but just in case, it’s all fade to black.
Under “Anything Else” in your CS, put who your favorite character from the books is, first and last name.
IF you disobey the rules, that's a strike. Three strikes= a warning, three warnings=your character is suspended from play until you get your act together.
Available Races
Human
Grisha
NOTE: Only two Grisha are allowed.

She kept the horrid false smile on her face, even though her cheeks were beginning to ache.<br><br> Aleksandra stared at the food longingly, wishing she were allowed to eat faster. The roast beef on her plate was taunting her, daring her to eat it. She ate at a ‘ladylike’ pace, which was all about making people think that you weren’t eating anything at all, and were, in fact, a sick that had managed to grow curves.<br><br>	They talked a bit longer about politics that seemed to bore both young royals, things such as how young King Henry was doing, and how charming Princess Killigra was, until Aleksandra’s mother noticed that Rufus was looking at the food strangely. <br><br>	Aleksandra recognized that while her mother was trying to be welcoming to her son-in-law-to-be, Aleksandra was being rather cold. “If you are finished, I could show you your chambers for the night.” Without further invitation, she rose, dusted off her dress, and gestured for Rufus to follow her up the stairs. Her green eyes glinted in the chandelier light, and for a moment, Aleksandra was blind. Then the moment passed, and with a turn of her auburn hair, she was off.<br><br>	When Aleksandra arrived at the guest room, she turned away from Rufus briefly to rub her sore and aching cheeks. <br><br>	Behind the closed doors of her room lay countless inventions, drawings, plans, schemes, and all manner of planning. Alright, if she was being honest- most of it was still out in the open.<br><br>	“Anyway, I’ll leave you to get settled.”</div></div><br><br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="Medium Post">Medium Post [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none">From a PM RP with Fetzen<br><hr class="bb-hr"><hr class="bb-hr"><br>	<span class="bb-i">Thud. Thud.</span> Lilliana heard her guards fall to the ground. <span class="bb-i">Shit,</span> was the princess’s only thought before she was scooped up by the large stone being. There will be search parties,” Lilliana said, but quickly shut up when she saw the look on the male’s face.<br><br>	They rode for almost an hour when they reached another tree with a horse on it. This whole process occurred once more before they arrived at a cave in the side of a cliff.</div></div><br><br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="Short Post">Short Post [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none">From Let me Heal You with Chronos Hybrid in the 1x1 section.<br><hr class="bb-hr"><br><font color="#f26522">"Of course,"</font> Jas says, sitting up from her curled position on the floor. <font color="#f26522">"Why wouldn't I be?" </font><br><br>Over the last two minutes she'd had before the man showed up, they'd explained Jas's job to her.
