Have a preference for a particular period?
I really want to do a period piece roleplay as in a roleplay that takes place in a period in the past. Maybe an adventure or slice of life type thing maybe with some fantasy elements depending on where or when its set. However there are many time periods to choose from and I'd like to know what you people are interested in.

My ideas for time periods are listed below and would like your own suggestions for time periods as well.

Gaelic pre christian Ireland in an age of a long forgotten high king.

The Viking age in 800 AD with Vikings exploring the old and new world

The Antebellum South or the whole of Antebellum America

The Golden Age of Piracy

French Haiti before the Revolution

The American colonial period

Colonial French New Orleans

Victorian England and the British Colonies like the Raj, South Africa, and Rhodesia.

The Hundred Years War between France and England

Spanish Conquistador Conquest of the Americas

Feudal Japan

The 1950s America

Roman Empire under Octavian

A non conventional Western set in 1800s Australia, Africa, or Latin America
Hello, the names aspie3000 and I joined this site because I';m thinking about getting back into roleplaying again. I used to be game master for roleplays on another site but I haven't done so in a long while. So, about me. I have a strong interest in history, mythology, fantasy, science fiction and other like minded topics.

I'm not as big a fan of anime as I'm sure many on here are but I like some of it okay. As for roleplaying ideas I am known to have some off kilter ideas sometimes that I think are interesting nonetheless. For instance, right now I'm thinking of maybe doing a gaslamp fantasy/alternate history Roleplay based off of the antebellum south with Southern, Appalachian, Cherokee, and Voodoo folklore inspired fantasy elements. Anyways, I have nothing more to say than hello :).
