However, with the onset of the Great Winter, and the exodus that followed, the majority of Prussia was forced to leave their homes, and were gifted a sizable amount of land in the Americas by the British Crown, as they had shared close relations for years.
Moving from New York to Mobile, Dietrich carried the knowledge that he could never return to Berlin again, and that his people were on their way to join him in the Americas.
