@Arthanus Well sheets is posted. Who doesn't want a walking, talking medium tank :p
Name: Therak oz Gerad nil Mizol (Gerad son of Mizol of the Therak tribe)

Race: Garundin

Garundin’s are a fairly new player on the galactic stage, but even so they have already made their presence known as premier engineers, technicians and heavy assault troopers.

The Garundin home world of Eshan sits at the extreme outer edge of the ‘Goldilocks Zone’ created by their home star. Eshan itself is a high gravity world, with a surface gravity being just over three times Earth-standard, which produces very high atmospheric pressures as well as being largely made of carbon dioxide. This has led to an ecosystem that produces flora and fauna that are short, dense and in the case of the fauna, powerfully muscled.

Garundin culture, even know, it still tribal based; though now each tribal council sends a representative to the planetary Grand Council who then appoints representatives for Garundin affairs off-world. Within each tribe, life has always about working for the good of the tribe; work delegated, resources shared, the elderly and infirm tended to by all. While internal conflicts were rare, inter-tribal conflicts were almost constant. Tribes fighting over land, water, minerals, and stronger tribes conquering weaker ones; the centuries passed, the technology changed and improved, but the fighting went on.

One major difference between Garundin’s and other sentient species was their near total lack of development of ballistic weaponry or attempts at heavier than air flight; the dense atmosphere and high gravity made the energy expenditure for such things too great to be overly practical, so such ideas were of little use. All that changed during what became known as ‘The Fall’; 200 years ago, on the plains between three great tribes a starship crash landed, coming to rest near where all three territories met.

Garundin’s were never a people that looked ‘up’ much, but with this arrival they started to, and wonder what else may be out there. Once they thought they were many tribes on one world, but now they realized, they may be one tribe amongst many worlds; this realization rippled across Eshan and within only a few years many old tribal conflicts where cast aside for the good of the ‘Greater Tribe’.

All across Eshan, great thinkers and tinkerer flocked towards the newly founded, and rapidly growing, City of the Great Fall (Great Fall in common usage). Sadly the crew of the vessel didn’t survive the crash, something caused an inertial dampener failure and they most likely died before the ship even hit the atmosphere, but the automated systems did their best to bring it down relatively intact. With methodical care, the Garundin’s began to investigate, first the small parts they could safely remove, then as their knowledge grew, and they began to translate more of the off-world language, they began to dig into the ship proper.

By their nature, Garundin’s are a patient and practical people, so there was no rush to discover all there was to know in one lifetime; but they also took to the new technology and in a remarkable short amount of time, they went from an early industrial tech base, to launching their first heavier than air craft, which was also their first trans-atmospheric vessel in less than two generations. From there they expanded exponentially, moving into their home system, and exploring the celestial bodies they found there. By the time the Garundin’s made first contact with S-GAF, ten years after Gerad’s birth, they had already successfully industrialized much of the system.

Physically, Garundin’s are a four armed, quadrupedal, mammalian species. They average in height from between 125 to 135 cm and generally weight in at between 160 and 200 kilograms. Though the high gravity of Eshan has led to a very thick atmosphere, the planets extreme range from the rather weak star means that even at the best of times, Eshan is a rather cool world. As a result Garundin’s still maintain a thick insulating layer of hair that covers everything but their faces, the palms of their hands and the soles of their feet.

They share a very similar facial appearance to Terran ‘gorillas’, with a heavy brow, flat nasal openings and a protruding jaw, though they lack the same elongated skull; as a result it’s not uncommon for humans to refer to them as ‘Spider-Gorillas’. Males and females are indistinguishable from each other unless one can actually see their reproductive organs; Garundin’s tell by pheromone traces that an individual produces.

Age: 52 [Average lifespan 200 years. 1 Eshan Year = 2 Standard Terran Years]

Appearance: Gerad is pretty average for a Garundin; 130 cm tall and weighing in at 180 kilos, he’s covered in light brown air, with dark brown eyes. On Eshan, he’s the type of man you’d forget you saw almost while you were still looking at him.

Personality: Like all Garundin’s, he’s a pragmatist which serves him well on Trylin. ‘Deal with the reality that is’, was something he was taught at an early age, and something that he has carried with him into adulthood; because sometimes the reality of a place like Trylin means you have to do some unpleasant things. Inside this pragmatic soul though is still a curious child, one who is fascinated by the machines people create, and wanting to know all there is to know about them.

Weapons:
TXZ-11/A Variable Laser Armament - To most species the TXZ series of weapons would most likely be classified as medium lascannons, suitable for vehicle or fixed emplacement use, to the Garundin’s it’s the standard issue primary infantry weapon for their ‘Militia of the Grater Tribe’.

A single handed weapon, which uses the Militia’s issue power armour to stabilize aiming, it has ‘beam’ and ‘pulse’ modes to swap between for its firing modes. ‘Beam’ mode fires a continuous 4 terawatt beam at long range, with a maximum sustained rate of 10 seconds, with a 15 second cool down between each firing. ‘Pulse’ mode fires 2 terawatt pulses at short to medium range, with a maximum sustained rate of 30 seconds with the same cool down time.

VVD 45-30/R Plasma Rail Projector (flexible mount on left shoulder) - Standard Militia issue anti-bunker/vehicle weapon. Can fire 3 10 terawatt pulses in 6 seconds before a 30 second is required, and can fire a total of 9 times before the canister of ionizing medium is expended.

Type 9/BS Collapsible Breaching Hammer - A 45 kilogram head, with a hammer face on one side and a spike on the other. Collapsed, it is compact enough to be used single-handedly, while extended the handle doubles in length allowing for two handed use and greater striking power.

Abilities:
Combat Engineer – He knows the best ways to disable and destroy hardened positions, infrastructure and pretty much anything else you can name, quickly, efficiently and while being shot at.

Soldier – He’s no stranger to combat, though compared to most species, Garundin tactics are a bit on the basic side; relying on their physical durability and their incredibly tough armour, they simply bully through their objectives.

Mechanic – If Gerad can’t fix it, then it truly can’t be fixed.

Bio: The fifth of twelve children, Gerad was lucky enough to be left to make his own choices in life; being part of an old and influential family inside Clan Therak, many of his older sibling were expected to become great leaders or warriors or other such things, and as a result were groomed and pushed and prodded to those ends.

Showing an aptitude for technology, even beyond Garundin norms, his schooling was tailored to those ends. Once he reached adulthood, like all Garundin he did his mandatory service in the Militia, helping to protect his people, and the Grand Clan in general; while only 2 years of service is mandatory, he found the Militia life appealing and being sent off world let him more easily interact with the technology of other species.

He would have probably spent the rest of his life in the Militia, after three consecutive volunteer contracts on top of the mandatory one, his superiors had been grooming him for greater things; but then, just as his fourth contract was coming to a close, the news of the incident on Trylin rippled across the news nets. Eshan was about as far away from Trylin as one could be while still in explored space, but when Gerad heard that news, he knew what he needed to do.

At the end of his contract, instead of reupping, he retired from the Militia, bought out his armour, sold off much of his possessions and caught the first transport he could that was heading in the right direction. The trip between Eshan and Trylin was long and at times frustrating and more than a little dangerous; but eventually he made it. His goal now was to find these ancient ruins and the tech there in, discover their secrets, and then return to his people with what he’d found. It might take a while, but Garundin are long lived.

Personal equipment:
G-11 Type 4 Mk.3 Militia Power Armour – Each armour is custom fitted to the user. If a citizen fulfills a 10 year (Eshan Year) term and retires in good standing with the Militia, they have the option to purchase their arms and armour if they intend to go off world; should they ever return to Eshan with the intent of staying they must surrender the arm and armour to the Militia.

The armour is a sealed and self-sustaining unit, allowing the user to operate in a variety of hostile environments, including hard vacuum for extended periods of time. The armour’s utility pack houses the power supply, atmosphere generator, nutrient processor and a whole host of other critical tools. So long as the armour has power it can maintain its user indefinitely.

Nano-assembler – Built into the back mounted utility pack of the armour, the assembler allows the user to manufacture small to medium sized components for repairs and constructions while in the field.

Combo welder/cutter – Mounted on a folding, multi directional arm that comes up over the right shoulder.

Multi-tool manipulator units – Both of the power armour’s secondary arm gauntlets are equipped with precision tools for working on smaller objects.

Defensive Barrier – An extremely durable kinetic and energy resistant shield that unfurls from a mounting on the armour’s left primary arm gauntlet.
@GarlandDaHeroExcellent, in that case, assuming I can get a Bio together I'll have a sheet ready really soon.
@Arthanus Is this still going?
"Maybe we should go to our dorm rooms and check it out."

"Yeah, let's get settled in, even if they're bringing it here, you can at least formulate an idea or something in your head, Sivli."

“That’s…actually not a bad idea.” Silvi replied, following after Mika and Aiden. Walking through the town hall, Silvi was mostly curious to see how the building had been changed; even though she’d never really been in line to take over any facet of the company, her parents had still insisted she at least understand the basics of how things were done…which included more trips than she could remember to this very building for some tediously boring meeting with some local official.

Eventually they found their way to their assigned rooms, and the other two set about storing their gear while she waited for hers to arrive.

"So... where is everyone from?"

Taking off her jacket she threw it onto the unclaimed bed, while unbuckling her weapons belt and hanging it off a bed post. “Local girl.” She replied, sitting down and curling her tail onto her lap. “My folks place is about 20 min outta town. It’s al-” Before she could get any further an older human male appeared in the doorway, knocking as he did so.

The man was in his late 40s or early 50s with dark hair that was liberally streaked with grey, and he was dressed in a tidy set of green coveralls with the Wulka Armaments logo on the left breast. “Hey there little cub, they said I’d find you up here.” Silvi let out a surprised ‘yip’ and leapt to her feet. “Berun!” She said as she rushed over. Sticking her head into the hall, she saw her suitcases of clothes and her tool chest sitting there, just behind him.

Smiling, she stood back straight and cuffed him in the arm. “You fool.” She chided. “Why’d you lug them all the way up here? You could’ve just told me you were here, I’d have come and got them.” Berun simply smiled and rested a hand on her shoulder. “If I can help you in whatever small way, I’m glad to do it. I might not be able to help fight those beasts, but I know you’ll do fine.” Silvi smiled and gave Berun a hug. “Thanks.” She said softly; letting go, she then waved to Aiden and Mika. “These are the rest of the student body, Aiden and Mika,”

From the look in Berun’s eyes, he was no happier about the turn out than Silvi was. “Nice to meet you.” He replied, nodding to the others before turning his attention back to Silvi. “Well little cub, I’d best be off.” He said as he turned to leave. “Don’t let Daddy or Habeen work you too hard.” Berun just laughed as he headed back the way he’d come.

Silvi stepped into the hallway, first dragging her suitcases and then the tool chest into her and Mika’s room. Opening the suitcases, she began to pack her clothes into ‘her’ closet and chest of drawers. “Right, like I was saying, local born. My folks own Wulka Armaments, Berun there, he’s been working for us for as long as I can remember.” To those who knew what to look for all her clothes were, while not flashy, top quality brands, the type of stuff that people who valued quality over simply a ‘brand name’ sought out.
“Well…shit…” Sivli muttered as Mika mentioned her health problems, though it made her question just why someone with her health ‘issues’ would want to become a huntress; her aunt had told her much about her own travel, that she knew huntresses could find themselves away from civilization for extended periods of time…not good if one needed regular medication.

But before she could think on that too much more, the other human introduced himself. “Nice to meet you Aiden,” She replied, smiling. “I’ll pass on the apple, but soup sounds good. Was up pretty early and I don’t remember the last time I was in Little Ladle.” Reaching into a pocket, she pulled out one of the latest models of Scroll to check the time and reply to a message. “My stuff isn’t here yet. Managed to sweet talk our driver into dropping it off here after he finishes his rounds; but go ahead, I’ll wait here for you two.”
Much Earlier
Silvi sat at the desk in her room and looked over the compound that was both Wulka Armaments, one of the premier weapons and armour makers on Ferris, and her home. From her second floor bedroom, she could see not only the private grounds surrounding her house, but also the workshops, design studio, laboratory, range and testing grounds that were spread across the five acre lot.

Smiling, she watching as early dawn light crept across the grounds, while in front of her, she was carefully disassembling, cleaning, and then re-assembling Moonlight Shard. Humming softly as she worked, her tail twitched slightly as her bedroom slowly swung open.

“HEYSISAREYOUEXCITEDFO-” Her brother shouted as he burst into her room, shining a spot light on her…empty…bed. “What are you? Twelve?” She said with a smirk, from the other side of the room. “Damn,” Her older brother Habeen muttered. “I just wanted to make sure you were up in time to get to the Academy.” He added louder, doing his best to look virtuous, and failing. “Riiight,” Silvi replied, putting the last few pieces together. “You’re so concerned you decided to ‘wake’ me a full 3 hours before I’d even need to leave here to get to Iron Forrest…asshole.” Habeen laughed. “And a good morning to you to dear sister!”

Shaking her head as her brother left, she cycled Moonlight Shard between modes before sliding it back into its scabbard. Standing, she hung the sword on her belt, grabbed her collapsed shield, and went in search of breakfast before some morning practice.

Now
Standing in front of the old town hall, Silvi was less than enthusiastic about what she saw. Three of us? Seriously? Only partially listening to…Lute was it? She instead did her best to observe the other two out of the corner of her eye. Great two humans, an I’m the tallest… She thought a tad sourly. Silvi had no problem with humans in general, at least a third of the company’s people, and their cook, were human, as well as several of her grade school friends…it was just that being the only faunus student, and the tallest by a wide margin, made her feel a tad ‘exposed’ as it were.

Apparently the staffing meet-and-greet was over and they had an hour to kill.

"So... I'm Mika... you two?"

“Hi, my name is Silvi,” She said, offering a hand; as she spoke, her tail unconsciously wrapped around her legs, a little tick when she was nervous. “Are you okay Mika?” The tiny girl seemed to be shivering pretty good; by Atlas standards, Ferris was a fairly warm place thanks to the active volcano, but visitors still found it a bit on the cool side…Silvi however, being a local, barely even noticed.
Name: Silvi Wulka (Pronounced ‘Vul-kah’)

Race: Faunus (Wolf)

Age: 18

Sex: F

Appearance:
She is tall at just shy of six feet, and like any aspiring hunter or huntress, she’s in quite good shape. Naturally silver hair, shaved short on the sides, hangs down to her belt in an almost wrist-thick braid; the colour of her tanned skin accentuating her oval face, while alert honey-gold eyes take in the world. Like all faunus, she has an animalistic trait to her appearance, and in Silvi’s case it’s a thick tail the same colour as the hair on her head…and else ware.

Clothing-wise, it’s a pair of tail-friendly pants, some knee high boots, and a pull over shirt and a jacket. When not in a fight, Silvi keeps both her blade and shield on her left side with a vintage sword belt, while on the right, and attached to the same belt, she has a pouch for her spare vials of powdered Dust.

Personality:
Unsurprisingly, given her chosen path in life, Silvi is an adventurous sort who is fiercely loyal to those she is close to; that said, she’s generally pretty slow to anger…except in cases of anti-faunus bigotry, which pisses her right off.

History:
The Wulka family have been on Ferris, and making arms and armour, for as long as anyone can remember. As a result pretty much every family member has been involved with the outfitting and equipping of hunters and huntresses for generations; and while mostly her family has been happy to simply supply those that fight the creatures of Grimm, there are those that decide to take a more active role. Silvi’s aunt Cheris was one such person.

Whenever her aunt was in town, which wasn’t often enough for Silvi’s taste, her aunt would tell her stories of the wider world of Remnant. The people she’d met, the places she’d seen and of the hunts she’d been on. Silvi was hooked from an early age, and was determined to follow in her aunt’s footsteps. When she first announced her intentions, at the tender age of 8, to become a huntress, her parents humored her and assumed that it was just a case of a little girl’s hero worship of her larger-than-life aunt and that she’d grow out of it; that was not to be.

In the following decade everything Silvi did was with an eye to eventually becoming a huntress, and while her parents did worry what that might eventually mean, they never tied to stop her. When Aunt Cheris was in town, Silvi trained with her as much as she could, and the rest of the time she practiced what she’d already been taught.

Initially she’d planned on joining the Atlas Academy, but after the fall of Beacon and the failure of the Atlesian Knights, she was hesitant to leave her family; but now with the Iron Forrest Academy opening, she’s ready to go once more.

Equipment:
Moonlight Shard
As ‘dual mode’ Dust weapons go, it is pretty much an antique; made when weapon-smiths were still first experimenting with directly incorporating Dust into the function of a hunter/huntresses weapons. In ‘Melee’ mode, Moonlight Shard is a double edged, one-handed sword with a T shaped guard and a half moon pommel. It has a 30 inch blade and weighs in at roughly 3 pounds, which is a bit on the heavy side, but still manageable.
Upon transitioning to ‘Ranged’ mode, the blade splits down the fuller, creating a guide channel of the blasts of energy created when the weapon is fired, and it retracts about half the blade length to allow for easier handling as a pistol; to greater facilitate that, the grip angles ‘down’ at about 70 degrees. While the firing internals have been well maintained and upgraded as is possible over the years, its age is still noticeable in the fact that it is not as efficient as more modern weapons, with each vial of Dust that is loaded into the grip only being good for 4 shots before being totally expended.

Aegis Hammer
When collapsed, Aegis Hammer is a metal hemispherical dome about 8 inches across, with a grip in the middle and a 5 inch tab at the bottom. Deploying, it shifts into a small round buckler about 18 inches across. The grip houses a socket to load a vial of black Dust, that when activated by the users Aura, creates a localized repulsion field across the face of the shield allowing it to block surprisingly powerful blows or deliver punishing strikes.

Semblance:
Accelerated Perception
Her semblance lets her kick her mental processes into overdrive for a short while, allowing her the time to pick up on subtle things like how an opponent is shifting their weight, what muscles are tensing (if she can see them), or where their attention is focusing. This allows her to do such things as predict an opponent’s next more or two in a fight, spot minor ticks if someone is lying or know exactly where to put her feet if she’s moving over rough/unstable ground at high speed.
