Bio:
Freydis was born outside of Skyrim, like literally just beyond the border of Windhelm, where her mother was caught in the midst of labour by the time they were traveling from Cyrodiil to Skyrim. Sadly, her mother died shortly after her birth, which left her under the care of her father ever since. Freydis grew up in a household of pro Stormcloaks, and as a child she witnessed her uncles gone to war, and most of them never come back. Her father never liked the idea of getting her daughter involved in the influence of war and violence, so he mostly keeps his daughter away from his "honor" - driven brothers, but Freydis on the other hand was very enthused by the fantasies of battle and adventure.
When she got older, her father was succumbing to an illness, having nobody else to put bread on the table Freydis was forced early on to make a living, in the hopes of having enough gold to send her father to a proper healer. She went with all kinds of jobs; a helper at the local inn, a miner, lumberer, a blacksmith's assistant. Yet all those did nothing but bore her tirelessly with only little pay. One day Freydis scoped the local bulletin boards and eventually found an easy enough mercenary job, by clearing the local tundra of a skeever infestation. Having done her job so seamlessly, recruiters started hiring her a job after another and even mentored and assisted her to be become better at her job. From then on she lived a life of a mercenary and loved. Besides that, the pay was more than good that she had been able to get her dad healed. After she heard of the Dawnguard, she instantly wanted to get in. And having a good background, and notable mentors through the years should be enough to convince them to get her on the team.
