@BrassOtter You can have gray if you want! I was actually deliberating both red and gray when I started so it's no thing.
Also, I feel that. To be honest like, I feel like any time I write a character he/she/they are usually really shitty when I first start writing them. It isn't until I've made a post or two that I've really gotten a good handle on them and what they're like, how to write their dialogue ect. Then I'll go back like, maybe a month later and look at their profile and be like "uh, no. This is wrong, this needs added, this needs expanded upon."
I'm always editing everything it's such a crisis. Like, until I'm right where I need to be with a character I will just be perpetually embarrassed about my posts and just drown in the shame.
Not sure what that says about ME as a writer roleplayer, but I guess everyone is a little different. That's why I'm like, so blown away by you guys because you come in and I'm like "oh shit, look at these characters they're amazing you really know your character's shit woweee". Because that's just not something I'm good at. Like. I need that warm up period before I really get them.
If I were smart I would try writing a few drabbles before I put characters out there but? Sometimes you make a character FOR an RP specifically, so it's like. Well fuck me I guess we're running with this.
Also, sorry for the wall of taxt.
