Mondays and Wednesdays get a bad rep. It's actually Tuesday that is the worst weekday.

Writing down an idea you're not happy with is the hardest thing, but you just gotta do it, because then it builds up and improves and the floodgates open.

Ever hypnotize yourself with your own avatar? IT'S HAPPENING TO ME RIGHT NOW

Bio

Personal:
Female, 24. I live in the tundra. If I list my interests, I'll break the character limit.
Writing/RPing:
I prefer realistic settings, but I can be pliable. Not big on Fandom RPs unless it's one I'm really into. No anime either. I'm kinda picky in general. RPing is pretty much the only way I can write. I can't think up plots, so I wouldn't make a good GM I think. Maybe in the future. For me writing is like doodling; it's a creative release, but I'm not an artist. I'm not great at writing romance either, and I refuse to write sex scenes with any more detail than 'tastefully fade to black'.
Availability:
I work full time, but I should still have time for RPing. Illness doesn't stop me, and if I can't get a post up I will say so in the OOC. Thursdays are out.

Roleplays I'm currently in
Wink Murder
Wolf Manor

Old Guild
Silent Hill RPG
Hüeller Morgann

If Jonas the drunk key stealer isn't on the very tippy top of that list, I'd be very surprised.
@corneredbliss Awesome!
3 months?????????

Holy poo.

I've always wondered, when a group has a good dynamic, why split it up? Getting dedicated players together is one of the hardest things to do on this site, and whenever an RP ends, everyone in it wordlessly decides to roll the dice and try to make a new one. I don't get it. =I
I vote for GM led, since that sounds like better story-wise from where I'm sitting. Unless I'm reading that wrong. Plus it might be nice for things to go your way for once, Jig. :P
My obsession aside, I solemnly swear that this new full timeness won't affect my posting. And even if it does, I'll let you folks know if I can't post.
@MyCatGinger Yes, shun your terrible classmates. All the love to the fictional world's most timeless and greatest friendship. (If you haven't checked these out already, I'd recommend the first couple seasons of the Granada Jeremy Brett/David Burke/Ed Hardwicke series if you feel like you can stomach the 80's-ness of it. (because not everyone can I guess) Brett is my personal favorite Holmes ever ever ever, and there's a reason an entire book was written about his performance. Also, the Bert Coules radio dramas are underrated and fantastic. Clive Merrison and Michael Williams aren't talked about nearly enough, and they recorded the entire Doyle canon, and then some. Oh, and Sherlock too. But everybody knows that.)

aaaannywayyy....

And thanks! <3 my hands were shaking and my heart was pounding when I finished that exam. I really didn't want to retake it.
I return from my journey. I have traveled over mountains of legal information and trained in a 6 day crash course of supreme learning, battling against the insurance world's logic and language. I've toppled the giants of subrogation, indemnity, licensing agreements, and even the titan known only as the dwelling policy. I have fought tooth and nail, and I have emerged victorious.

Uh, in other words, I passed my state exam. By the skin of my teeth.

Time to get used to working full time.
Tell me about it.

Edit: Yknow, a week or so ago I was freaking out about lack of a creative outlet, so I skimmed through some interest checks and dear and fluffy lord none of them looked interesting to me. Is it me? Am I picky, or has the awesome power of Wolf Manor spoiled my standards?
For me, Mary Jane always gives me weird dreams. (The candy, not tree you kidders) Once I had one where my backyard was made of maggots. :S And I was a murderer running away from the characters from Criminal Minds (which I used to watch). But then a different episode in my dream started so then they were fighting aliens on a different planet and a giant pizza fell on them.
@MyCatGinger Sorry to hear about your scary night. Hope it doesn't happen again. I haven't taken my state exam yet, I'm at work now and will be starting my exam about 8 hours from now. I am studying instead of working, though. ;)

Also congrats on being bumped higher on my 'awesome people who I love' list along with Kirah for mentioning Holmes. I freely admit that I own a deerstalker, a magnifying glass, the complete original short stories, too many Dvd's to count (including the Soviet Union series starring Livanov and Solomin, my very first intro to the great detective) a region free Dvd player, and even more books than Dvds, including my pride and joy; a hard cover copy of Bending the Willow: Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. Ahaha I'm obsessed I have an addiction oh god please help me
