Bio

Personal:
Female, 24. I live in the tundra. If I list my interests, I'll break the character limit.
Writing/RPing:
I prefer realistic settings, but I can be pliable. Not big on Fandom RPs unless it's one I'm really into. No anime either. I'm kinda picky in general. RPing is pretty much the only way I can write. I can't think up plots, so I wouldn't make a good GM I think. Maybe in the future. For me writing is like doodling; it's a creative release, but I'm not an artist. I'm not great at writing romance either, and I refuse to write sex scenes with any more detail than 'tastefully fade to black'.
Availability:
I work full time, but I should still have time for RPing. Illness doesn't stop me, and if I can't get a post up I will say so in the OOC. Thursdays are out.

I've trying to avoid meta gaming like crazy, for instance I absolutely know that Cthulhu is napping in that lake and that rowing a dinky little canoe in the middle of it is as TERRIBLE idea. But, JL doesn't really know that. He probably wants to forget all the weird stuff that's happened and relax doing one of his favorite hobbies. Thus: Cthulhu Fishing.

Either that, or I just really love putting my characters in the danger zone. It's happened before. *shrug*

It's beautiful...that shot of the ambulance...gold. IT'S GENIUS I TELL YA! The production is weirdly perfect at making hilariously bad cheesiness. It's like, 'make sure you can see the string' and 'I want the acting to be as stilted and awkward as possible' and 'Change everything between shots, no continuity!' Genius.

Sliders is an amazing show! I need to finish it one of these days. Also that sliders-esque film i started but never finished because it was super late.


Definitely watching it, then. I hear good things about it.

Incidentally, if none of you folks have seen Darkplace, you're really missing out, it's a gem. When I saw the intro, I was in love. And breathless with wheezing laughter.
