Physical Appearance: June is a very slim youth standing at medium height with short cropped hair (
much like this style) always dyed an intense colour, predominantly blue of some variety. His sharp angular features show in a strong nose line, long chin and high cheekbones are accentuated by his thin frame lacking any significant muscle tone. His eyebrows are kept tidy and thin, as is his aesthetic, and sit neatly above his blue-grey eyes. Proud of his few skin imperfections his face is dotted by only a few small pot marks from previous zits and he makes an effort to keep it that way while maintaining a lack of facial hair and enjoying thorough hygiene, in fact he keeps all aspects of himself neat and groomed including his nails which he keeps short. Though tidy his too sharp features mark him outside of conventional beauty, a fact he takes some pleasure from. Of pale complexion it is clear he favors shade over sun whether indoors or out and lacks a significant tanline because of this. His body matches his face with few blemishes, carefully maintained, and only one significant eyecather in the form of a bare tree tattoo with several crows flying from its branches on his left shoulder (
boop!).
Attire: His style is a balance between a love of tight fitting black and baggy folds/pockets. He often wears coats that drape to his knees or mid-thigh sporting plenty of deep pockets both inside and out with a tight shoulderless tank top that shows off his midriff and fingerless elbow-gloves underneath accompanied by jeans, pocketed naturally, and dark, slim boots. Nearly everything he owns is in dark tones though June will often throw in bright coloured accessories that match his hair such as a scarf. He thoroughly enjoys his round rimmed shades (

PersonalityOutward & Innate Personality: June is at his core a hedonist, he does what he does because he feels like it and for no other reason. That is not to say he is especially obnoxious or abrasive, he quite enjoys people and finds them highly entertaining, he just doesn’t have much interest in maintaining a positive image to others nor will he go out of his way to cheer someone up or spare their feelings, unless of course they are more fun that way. Ultimately any show of affection or pleasantries will be for his own gain, usually in the form of enjoyment, unless the individual falls into the rare category of genuine friend. He very rarely attaches himself this way to people as he is a natural skeptic and more than happy with his own company. He tends to be open about his position in relation to people should it come up but will always lie, no matter the topic, if it suits him. June’s skepticism towards people stems at least in part from his lack of empathetic understanding and ability to pick up on the more subtle social cues, he is basically a social machete hacking and slashing his way through the social environment with little regard for truth as he finds it hard to genuinely trust others but interacts with them anyway and to great enjoyment. With a natural distrust of authority institutions he is a troublemaker and will often spite rules just to see the reaction or test the boundaries, though once they’re established he generally won’t continue to test his luck as that is rarely in his eventual self-interest.
Hobbies/Interests: He enjoys stories immensely, be them books, films or tv series and will spend hours on them. He has tried his hand at writing but finds viewing stories more enjoyable than making them. He also has a love for fire and explosions, though he does try to keep his fun on the low down. Music and antiquities or anything that relates his aesthetic will also spark his interest with trinkets and tidbits making up most of his belongings.
Skills/Talents: June is highly adept at starting fires, pissing people off and finding safe havens from people and prying eyes, skills that may or may not have roots in his first talent. He has also developed a good understanding of machinery and technology through his experimentations with his ability. He has build a small, waist high robot that he keeps as an extra set of hands and often has follow him around.
Prized Possession: His dark black shades are likely his favorite thing, as his stories are replaceable.

History/Bio: June was raised by his mother and sister, both of them loving and generous people and the two people he holds most dear. His father was never around and his mother never spoke of him, he had been a drunken fling in the days when his mother enjoyed parties even though she was caring for his three year old sister at the time. The man paid child support but that was it, limiting his contact to that alone which suited Isabella fine, it was not something she was proud of. She never let that get in the way of loving him though and as a bright, energetic person who loved people as much as she did it wasn’t really all that surprising she had enjoyed meeting people and having a little fun. Michal, Gene his sister’s father, had been a longtime friend of hers and they had dated on and off for some time through university, after her master’s degree in engineering that she had earned alongside him she ditched it in favor of hairdressing which suited her better and it was something she loved dearly. Once she had settled into her new role she had asked Michal to help her start a family and was always a good family friend, more of an uncle than a father to both of Isabella’s children.
Growing up June was taught how wonderful people were and he say that they had the potential, but bullying and bigotry to both his own lifestyle and his mother’s jaded him to this idea and he settled for enjoying people immensely but never trusting them much. That was until he met Sebastian, a meta human and, like him, 13. He attended a boarding school not too far from June’s public school and they struck up a quick friendship, deep and true. He was June’s first kiss. Sebastian is also the one that gave him his powers through the Black Fall Effect. Sadly this also marked a turning point in his life as after four years of happiness with his friend Sebastian was mugged heading back to the dormitories after a visit with June’s family, the muggers were also gifted with meta powers and the fight escalated drastically resulting in Sebastian to be seriously injured and hospitalized. He was extremely skittish and nervous afterwards having developed severe anxiety from the encounter and the two slowly drifted apart. June fell into his more delinquent tendencies around this time possibly as an attempt to fill the gap.
As a meta human he was eventually noticed and offered scholarships and academy positions which he refused on principle having blamed Sebastian's Academy for failing to protect him. That was until he was invited to the prestigious Academy 218, an offer that appealed to him greatly if just for the novelty of living on a man made island seeped in intrigue and sporting the biggest library he had ever heard of. That and a laboratory stocked with everything he could ever need to test his powers on. For now he is willing to let his prejudices relax enough to accept the invitation. He can always leave if it doesn't work out, right?

Power: June has a peculiar ability known as technomancy which manifests itself in the for of strange fields of energy that can be infused with technological devices giving him the power to control and manipulate them with his mind. From here they can be forced to perform any of the functions they were programmed or built with by way of influencing the base operations of the device. He can manipulate both computer based systems, like phones, and more mundane electrical based systems, like machinery. Once he has learned a system he is able to move it through its functions intuitively and with little concentration and if that system has converted video or sound to electrical impulses he can understand it. meaning if he were to build a functioning robot with a video camera he could move it about with ease while out of line of sight, seeing what it sees.
As his power develops he will be able to create self functioning fields that can perform and repeat simple patterns when activated, this will steadily advance until he is able to infuse technomantic fields so advanced they are almost self aware.
Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: There are two main limitations to his ability, firstly it can take a fair while to understand how to control a new system, learning which parts do what and what circuits lead to where, the more complex the system the longer it will take. If he were to learn how to control and unfamiliar phone for example it could take several hours, a desktop computer might take as long as ten. Though the similarities between the new systems and the one she has already learned will speed this process. Secondly he must infuse the techomantic field through touch, and must have contact with it for several seconds in order for it to work.
There is also a limit on how much he can control at once, though this is a mental limit not a limit of his ability. At the start of the RP timeline he can control only one complex device or maybe 2 simple devices while also remaining conscious of his own actions. There is also a period of time where he must recover from using his abilities, he can only control up to three devices in rapid succession before he reaches his limit and needs four to six hours to recuperate any energy spent after he has finished using a device, this may be due to the nature of meta-energy and the time it takes for it to return to his body. His control has a maximum distance of roughly thirty meters. Any distraction to concentration can loosen his grip on a device he is controlling. Physically he also isn’t particularly fit, only able to run moderate distances at a steady pace before getting worn out and would be outclassed easily in a physical fight by anyone with serious training (though against untrained opponents his combat experience would be adequate to stand a chance). As for social graces and blending in… well.
