Autumn Moon — Roleplayer Guild

As the title says, I'm in the mood for a horror story at the moment. I have some rough plot ideas (mostly monster stories) we can use and build from there or if you have your own ideas, we can discuss those too. In fact, I'd love to hear them. I like plotting with my partners, so don't be afraid to throw whatever ideas you have at me. There's a good chance I'll be up for it. Also, no limits here. I want this to be dark, twisted, and scary. So it goes without saying that only 18+ please.

A small town is suddenly invaded by something sinister and the residents have no idea what's going on, only that people and animals are vanishing at an alarming rate. I'm thinking we could go in a lot of different directions with the creature(s). It could be an ancient creature that's been slumbering beneath the town since before the town was even built and only recently disturbed. Or an alien creature that crashes (or arrives deliberately to hunt/study/abduct humans). Or maybe an experiment that breaks out of confinement and seeks refuge in the town.

While on vacation in a foreign country (I'm thinking somewhere in South America) a group of friends follow a local guide when they visit the ruins of an ancient temple. But they end up getting lost inside the ruins and learning that there's something inside with them... hunting them. I'm thinking some kind of monster that the locals have been sacrificing people to for centuries or maybe a species of subterranean creatures that needs humans to feed/reproduce.

A family comes back home to their small town after a vacation, unaware that they are bringing something back with them that soon gets unleashed on the town. I'm thinking a new and very deadly species of wasp or spider or could also be something alien or even supernatural. This one is pretty vague but I like the concept.

This last one is if we want to do something on the slightly sillier side, but what if a scientist is working on a drug that's designed to enhance human strength and intelligence and is experimenting on rabbits. But it works too well, the rabbit kills the scientist and escapes. It heads for the nearest populated area while rapidly growing larger and more monstrous.
