The Last Embers

On the topic of new people, I do not mind. I understand the apprehension about letting people that did not work the original content in but for all we know they may be able to add new content, they may make new characters that revitalize ours or pull out new aspects of the current characters or story that we had not thought about. LJ was pretty stringent in the initial screening process, I am sure that only good quality characters will be let in this time as well.

The Last Embers

I am still around. I had some troubles and had to make a few trips OCONUS that left me without internet access for about three or four weeks, sorry about that. One of those things that just popped up and eight hours later I was on a flight without phone or computer. Unfortunately that happens sometime in my line of work but I am back and still intend to be a part of this.

Surviving: The End (character-centric; modern zombie survival)

Since multiple characters are a go and I know I can handle two (three may be dicey) I was thinking about another CDC character a sort of polar opposite to the well educated lab rat biologist. I like the idea of a farmer, a kind of third or fourth generation guy volunteered to do his civic duty and all. I'll see what I can post in the way of sheets within the next 24 hours.

For now I am thinking of going with the CDC group just because it seems that, at the moment, we have more walkers than CDC. I am thinking male, mid to late forties, virologist or biologist, maybe a splash of both. Also thinking volun-told, maybe a family or aging parent that he was a caretaker for was left behind.
