Solomon attempted to sidestep the claymore, but his timing was off and he felt a vertical line of pain coming from his right shoulder, which was now cut deeply and bleeding. He takes a few steps back and leans on the bar, throwing a heavy iron mug of ale at the one that attacked him. He didn't dare let the pain get to him, he gritted his teeth and made himself ready for the next attack.
Meh. Like I said, a blessing in disguise. More time to focus on the one or 2 rps rather than the 3 or 4. though it is a bit disconcerting and I cant help but blame myself.
Solomon jumped backwards and landed on his rear, surprised by the sudden attack. He backed into a chair, which he grabbed with both hands, ready to swing. "I'm sorry too, big guy..." He then tossed a chair at Price and went to grab another one.

"Someone's passing out tonight, he repeated, hiding the thrill he got from a fight with a death glare aimed at his combatants.
Stuff I am going to write eventually. Some of my other RPs are slowing down, which will mean less of a chance of getting writing fatigue. So that's a blessing in disguise.
Solomon made his way downstairs and noticed the five rangers. At this point, if he retreated to his room, they would have most likely noticed his caution and regard it. He decided to act casual. He made his way to the bottom floor and took a seat when he noticed he left his staff with Amalthea. He would have to get creative if a fight were to occur, especially given the numbers. "Can I have some mead? Biggest, heaviest mug you have. Someone's passing out tonight!" He requested, looking like a casual heavy drinker.

Meanwhile, he kept a very cautious eye on all five rangers, especially the tallest one, Price. That's the name he was able to overhear.
Yeah I'm fine. Just in thought. and work has been brutal. Been getting extra rest
"I'm sorry, but I must decline. I need to grab supplies, maybe some of the not-so-terrible remedies from the woman downstairs. Keep that knife close to you. If they are coming as soon as you think, you might need it..." He reached for his pack and pulled out a small satchel. "Here are the leaves. Put them over your wounds."

He started walking towards the door. "I'll be back to check on you in a few hours. If anyone comes into the inn, they'll just assume I'm some nomad. I'll be able to warn you and we can sneak out the window." He said, gesturing to it.

He took a deep sigh and looked to the floor as he opened the door to their room. "Be brave. Alright? I promise they won't get you."
Solomon raised an eyebrow. Something is obviously wrong. He thought to himself. "If you say so, your majesty." He nods, picking her up again gently.

"I have some herbal leaves in my pack. I use them as bandages. They secrete a harmless liquid that eases pain. I'll give you some to put on so you don't wake up in pain tomorrow morning." He says as he carries her upstairs. "And maybe I should get you some food as well. I noticed you didn't pay much attention to the broth." His voice carried a concerned tone.

He made it to the top of the stairs and started his way to their room, the farthest one on the right. "They're going to find us soon, aren't they?" This time, his tone was cold and hard to read.
Also, have some lore!

Couriers:
Messengers of the realm. Given the number of lords in both kingdoms, they are a mixed bunch with the common purpose of delivering incredibly important messages from one lord to another, and sometimes to royalty or more important commoners. With a job like this, some bandits have attempted to make easy prey on these messengers, intending to steal any valuable cargo or information to sell.

Most of the time, these bandits fail. Couriers have become known for being incredibly reliable, no matter what befalls them. Depending on their routes and region, they become highly skilled in certain areas. Couriers in mountainous regions can endure the harsh cold and high altitudes, along with having incredible endurance and upper body strength. Couriers of the plains are the fastest and most opportunistic, knowing when and where to sprint out of any trouble that might befall them. Couriers of the woods are cunning, and some have even made traps in the forests they cut through to hinder or dispatch pursuers.

Others, like Solomon, have their own unique approach. Solomon, for example, disguises himself either as a religious nomad or a farmer carrying nothing but a heavy walking stick. When attacked, his harmless guise gives him a few easy swings to start with, and given his upper body strength from scaling cliffs and the weight of his walking stick, these blows tend to be lethal. Solomon, to stop people from seeing him as a real threat, doesn't use the same route twice in a row, and he doesn't dress the same whenever he repeats a route. He has been known to be incredibly reliable as a courier and a warrior.
