I would like to join it but some things are a little too cliche. Like the mansion part for example. Just some constructive crit. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, aside from some of the cliche things I really like this, and would even be willing to join. I'm a quick roleplayer though, I can usually churn out two good posts a day at the level you're asking

Her Dragon form is of a rusty color and her body is serpent-like with two small hind legs. As a human she wears a knee-length dress with lots of ruffly underskirts.
Name: Anya Silvia Holzgrefe
Race: Dracan
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Rank/Affiliation: Royal Magistrate
Personality: Calm and rational in most situations. She can be rather harsh in chastising others, but it is only because she wishes better for them. She enjoys being in the company of knowledgeable people and finds pleasure in learning and discovery. Aside from being the royal magistrate and overseeing the general enforcement of the Monarch's laws, she is also very scholarly and hopes to one day become a favored tutor for the children of the royal family.
Weaknesses: Being aware of knowledge she cannot obtain, the cold, speedy opponents
Strengths: Battle strategies, self confidence; pretty much any situation that could require her to think things through, cooking
Brief bio: Anya was born in a fine, average family; her uncles Knights to the Royal Family. Anya's father was lost to the war, however her mother managed to keep the two of them safe. Anya's mother was able to give her a good education being one of the more popular jewelers in the region. With lot's of hard work and dedication in hopes to bring her and her mother into a better life, Anya (along with the help of her uncles) was able to land herself a powerful position under the crown. Perhaps the toughest period in her life so far was the day she had to prove herself worthy of such a sophisticated title as the Royal Magistrate. She was made to fight a highly ranked knight in his Dracan form. Anya was unsure if she could make it through the fight, and she soon ran out of stamina. If it weren't for her knowledge in strategy and defense, she very well could have died. The scar under her jaw is proof of this.

I'm new to this website, but I've been roleplaying for roughly 7 years. Looking through the forums, I can't really seem to find anything that piques my interest. I don't really like series-related roleplays and all the ones I do find that aren't tied to a series are kind of typical.
So what do I like? I like adventure type roleplays, with a little bit of fighting (both physical and verbal) and a little bit of romance, but not too much of either. I'd prefer something that isn't cliche like factions or wars. Maybe something with a travel aspect/feel similar to that of the T.V. shows/anime The Walking Dead, Inu Yasha, or Slayer. I also like magic roleplays, witches, faeries, all that fun stuff. Paranormal roleplays really get me excited. I'll do school/academy type roleplays too depending on how they're set up.
Please feel free to link your roleplays to me. I'd appreciate a summary of what your roleplay is really about as well, or what you're expecting from the players. I'm open to 1x1's and also starting up a new rp with someone if they really want to. I've got quite a few good ideas, I just don't want my first rp experience on this site to be of my own roleplay.

What was left of the moon; not hidden by the mysterious clouds of night, shone down over the river and poured and bubbled with the streams, whispering the secrets of the sprites and the curses of the imps. Crestna pondered over the river, her eyes drifting with distressed longing across the flecks of moon on the water. She sat slumped against a large rock, cracked and falling to pieces just as Crestna was inside. She didn't know what she had done wrong. A tear streamed down her cheek, capturing the moon's essence in it's journey to the dirt below. Crestna could still hear the Elder's voice echoing in her head. The spell he bellowed like an enraged god, stripping her of her wings and magic. She had done no wrong, disobeyed no ancient pixie rule. Yet here she sat, naked in the land of the humans. Like an infant in this cruel world she cried out, having no place to go, no face to recognize, and no knowledge of the realm she sat abandoned in.

I've been on quite a long break from roleplaying. I came from Gaiaonline (ugh, I know), and I'm here to get away from the noobish roleplayers on those avatar websites. I'm good at roleplaying depending on my partners. I can write very long, detailed posts on a good day, with a good partner. However I'm not a fabulous roleplayer or anything.
I like adventure/medieval style roleplays. However I can also handle regular life roleplays. My favorite universes include those which contain dragons, wolves, races with magical powers. I DON'T do roleplays about vampires, werewolves, or romance.
