It's a keepsake from his mother. The only thing he knows about her is that she had that sword.
Well, it's time. This. Is. War.
Shit is going to com-bust.
Entering the kitchen, Axel looked at the three; crossing his arms, he flicked the light on as he did so. His bleach blond hair lighting up as it reflected the kitchens light. ''I've installed a generator, gotten farm animals and enough vegetable. We've got to preserve this.''

As he turned to hear the mans words, he followed him out; raising his eyebrow. ''Excuse me?''
After hours of gathering up farm animals and tools, he drove an old truck with cabins upon cabins attached to it. It took him 30 minutes or so to get to the warehouse and soon closed the car door behind himself as he got out. He turned to the cabins and began picking the planks of wood he had gotten from hours of lumbering. It didn't take him long to build a fence, since he was keeping his head down, he had let the animals out and let them have their own spot. He then went around to the side of the house and began modifying the power box into a generator; the power was coming from the canal below them just a tad away. Power was back and they had food now, he pat himself and turned to walk into the warehouse.
Gustavus, make things interesting between our characters, when mine gets back.
Axel was trudging through the forest at this point. Walking and looking at streaks of magical strings whisp through the trees; his mind remembering a time before his life. He saw a female figure; one smiling to him, he had his arms around her. A time when he was happy, in love and free. She said things like '' Axel, you don't have to worry! -- I can take care of myself and our son; Joseph.'' ....

The scene shifted and changed completely, Axel was on his knees and could hear screaming...to his horror it was himself; his hands stained in blood and the beautiful woman he saw earlier was cold, lifeless and limp on the cold castle grounds. A man held a knife and licked the blood from its framing. He laughed and...

The scene shifted again as Axel heard the same wolfs cry that he heard when he was first coming to the warehouse; it knocked him out of his memories and came to the end of the forest. Fields upon fields could be seen, stretching across the land; some cattle were still alive; living naturally. This is where he went, so that he could pack farm animals into a vehicle and take them back to the warehouse. '' I owe them that much..''
Alex made it into the warehouse and straight to the kitchen. Looking to the bowl; he watched at how desperately they were trying to get by and turned to his room. Packing all his belongings; he returned to the kitchen. '' I'm heading out; hopefully, I'll be back either before nightfall or tomorrow night.'' As he said so, he turned and ensued through the door; walking off in to the horizon.
Axel stood on the hill top; just a bit away from the warehouse, Sat back, he watched the ocean currents crash off of the caverns and sand; always washing something up. His mind blocked out any intrusive sounds and compelled to the calming of his soul. His bleach blonde hair cooed in the wind; the tips fluttering to it's direction. His dark blue orbs glinted a light in the horizon; the rise of the sun. Coughing some; he smiled and spoke in a monotone..'' Keep on going, buddy. Bring meaning to our lives.'' Axel stood now, dusting himself and picking his keepsake sword from the ground. He turned and began his journey back to the warehouse. It bugged him that someone would even think of forcing people to reproduce with each other; love each other. Yet he knew that their meeting would be inevitable; quite a power play and tension would be high.
It's been fun.
'' Huh?'' He asked out of complete confusion of what she had imputed into his conversation.
