Why!!!? Why did I!!!? Why did I let her...take him!!!? Minari thought while burying her face in a pile pillows. The pillows were soaked from tears and the frantic screaming she constantly did were being muffled by the fluffy objects as well. Oh Aya, I let our four year old baby go with a stranger, what kind of mother am!!!? I'm sorry!!! I'm so so sorry Hozu pooh that I let her take you!!!!![/u] She continued this until she fell as sleep a few hours later.

"So you're saying that the Head Captain getting injured wasn't your fault?"
"My appearance intervention would've done nothing so in many words...yes."
"If that's true then what was the point in going there in the first place?"
"No pawn stands idle while their King is in danger, whether futile or not." Rinkei said while finishing up some paperwork.

"When are you going to be done so we can have a picnic?"
"Never, go annoy someone else because I'm not free at the moment."
"Fine, I'll be home later then, See ya Tasa." Kareta said before walking out his office. "So what's the best thing I should do for today? Hmmm...get acquainted with the ideals of each squad before getting assigned to one." She thought under breath as she made her way out the Barracks. "Chronological or Squads of choice? Well let's see...huh?" Her body suddenly stopped in its tracks, quickly turning to a Shinigami with her voice drastically changing. "I dislike being watched, so if you have something to say then say it!!!"

[I]If the Captain commander can be handled so easily then no one is safe. As I predicted, last years attack must've been a test run. And this time was them letting us know that they can. Hmmm...so next time will be a reoccurrence of the last war or maybe another test run perhaps? Tch...it doesn't matter because they're free to do whatever they want until we're strong enough to stop them. They can't take a sip of my coffee whenever they please, it belongs to me and only me. Therefor I won't allow them to do whatever they please Rinkei thought to himself as he continued with his paperwork.

Maybe a post of what your char was doing at the time of the war? Coming back from a mission before seeing the Seireitei in rough shape? Just brainstorming alone was enough to meet the length requirements. So...you're welcome Hayaso for giving you the possible inspiration needed to formulate a post.

Miyume sat down on a plain filled with life, outside the protection of the Seireitei. Her Zanpakuto was stabbed into the grass beside her as the sun slowly began to rise. She could feel the heat and warmth being expressed from the burning star while watching it closely. "Such a beautiful sight, now I should be heading back." She ripped her Zanpakuto before standing up on her own two feet. Miyume sheathed her weapon and proceeded to shunpo back to Squad 3 shortly after.

- One Week later -

Kirishin rose up from his bed as usual, acting as if the incident never happened. He jumped into the shower before putting on his normal Shinigami attire upon getting out. Once finished, Kiri left his room, proceeding to complete his average duties as usual. Injured Shinigami seemed to be coming in more frequently in the past few days, probably overworking themselves in preparation for the next attack. He shunpoed to the most busy part of the medical so he could lend a hand. "Who's not being attending to that needs it?" Kirishin asked a nearby Shinigami who then proceeded to point in the direction of a blonde old man.

Walking over to the man, Kiri put a smile on his face before speaking. "Looks like I'm going to be your doctor for the time being. So tell me, where is the pain coming from because I don't see anything?" The man took no time at all in replying. "It's coming from this red bump on my neck you see?" The man lifted his head up, revealing a glowing red bump on his adam's apple. "Hmmm...well that's not good, it seems you may have contracted something pretty rare. Tiponastrues if I'm not mistaken but seeing how it's in its lesser stages, you should be ok. May I ask how you are feeling, outside of the bump of course?" Every day, a different problem, luckily, days of sickness could occupy his time without worrying about the next.

*Resurfaces* We need more Captains XD Viole's dead, Ryan's M.I.A, Hayaso's char(Wasn't active long enough for me to even remember his name), leaving only three Captains left. Not to mention that two of those Captains have just been seriously injured(Probably recovered by now but still) and all that remains is me(Now that I think of it, Zero too or so I think). With that being said and as always, I will assuredly live up to my expections as Captain of Squad 8.
