Arina Mifune - Shikatsu (師勝町)
The intercom called for her name and the medicine, and after retrieving her mother pinkeye medicine she got another text. Mom wants her medicine ASAP. Arina ignored the text for it annoyed because of “Mom.” Either way she was glad her trip to the city was finished and she exited out of the pharmacy. Arina was walking over to the nearest bus stop. Checking the schedule of bus arrivals online…she was going to be late.
Stepping into overdrive mode, she was fast walking down the boulevard to reach the bus stop at the borders of the suburbs. It made her, noticeable because of that but also because of her outfit (obviously). Her brown skin and her blue eyes, rare for an Asian person made her stand out walking down the boulevard. She checked her phone again, noticing the time, the bus would arrive now. She picked up the pace walking harder, and less gracefully holding her mother’s medicine in a plastic bag.
With so much focus on reaching the bus stop, she did not notice her surroundings and bumped into a man that towered over her short physique but she did not stop, “Sorry about that” as she moved to the side as she said hastily but then tripping, falling face first into the cold hard pavement.
