Christmas is much less charming as an adult than as a child.

I'll admit I'm intrigued. I'm thinking a Paladin type character for myself..
Question. What kind of culture setting is this about? IE Modern.. feudal.. sci fi, ect. The kind of clothes these people wear. Things like that. I need more to go off of before making a character.. though i am interested.
Yes indeed. Once I kill off a few inactive players.

Edit: Pretty much everyone besides Brogan, Henry, and Katrina is going to be killed off. No one else has posted within two weeks and none of them have given me reasons for absence. I am a patient man because I expect patience in return. I am in Afghanistan after all and I don't have the internet access that I would like but I do inform the RPs im involved in when I wont be posting for a while.
Dralith chose not to respond to Brogans inquiry on introductions. He had his ways and he would leave it at that. "Yes indeed I've given them a brief run down as to where we're going." He said as he resumed his rather quick traveling pace. "There is an Oblivion Gate about half a days march due north of the City. As you can Imagine, that's not good. We're going to go close it. It is also my test to see if the lot of you are really up for fighting Daedra." There was a matter of fact tone to his voice, no readable emotion behind his words. As if he was ignorant to the fact that failing his test meant death though assuredly he was well aware. The Hero of Kvatch had high hopes for this group and expected the lot of them to succeed.
Sorry for the dry post. I know ive been pretty inactive lately and I was hoping I could beef it up more but things are kind of.. complicated, at the moment.
Rylan awoke with a start and looked around his room. His eyes were still blurry and he attempted to rub away the drowzyness. Briefly he recalled the walk back to his room after the run in with the mutants from the other district. It was a dreadfully uneventful walk to the Ignori dorms after the little run in, he'd located a vacant room on the second floor and made it his own. A lengthy shower had done him some good and it wasn't long after that he fell asleep. Rylan yawned and examined his wrist band, it was beeping and had been the reason he'd woken up. He tentatively activated the holographic display and it went immediately to the message inbox. Scanning the message more than reading it, he picked out the only thing that the message said that really mattered. The Ignori retributes were to meet on the top floor of the dorms. The fiery eyed teen ran a hand through his hair and fell back onto his bed staring at the ceiling. 'So its finally beginning, is it?' With more than a little sloth Rylan rolled out of bed and got dressed with no sense of urgency, brushing his teeth soon after. He was a little hungry but that can wait.. he'd go to the top floor first and see what was in store for him.
The floor is open for new players, i'll work you into the story once I kill off some people in the upcoming oblivion gate. Which, regrettably, seems to be most of the current crew minus a few individuals T.T
The female Imperial, Katrina, caught up to him. "What manner of enemy should we expect when we arrive?" she asked. Dralith regarded her with an unreadable expression. He couldn't tell if her inquiry was born of excitement, curiosity, or worry. Perhaps a combination of the three. How to answer the question without instilling fear or demotivating the girl?

"Well, Lady Katrina." he started. "Once we arrive we'll likely find Mythic Dawn cultists around the gate. They'll be easy enough to deal with. Once inside we'll encounter Daedra. The most common of these being low class Dremora and Scamps." He paused for a moment. "Dremora are humanoids and don Daedric armor, however the ones I've encountered so far are only low class warriors. They shouldn't be taken lightly though as even they are quite a match for the average legionary. The Scamps are impish creatures that will attack from a distance with spells." As he finished, they exited the city gates onto the bridge. Movement from the side caught his eye and a hand instinctively went to the hilt of one of his blades, ready to draw the weapon. Dralith recognized the Bosmer, Brogan and let his hand fall back to his side.

"Ah, how nice of you to join us Master Brogan. I was beginning to worry you'd run off.."
The sun had barely risen as The Hero and his party gathered in the first floor. The Bard was so far the only one to speak thus far. "Perhaps. It'll only take my word for them to become fugitives once more. I don't take kindly to being played and if that is the case i will oversee their executions myself." Dralith stated plainly. He took a bite of an apple he'd procured from the inn keeper. "Now, you're all likely wondering where we're headed and what our mission is. Before we begin our quest i wish to test your mettle. Our destination is an Oblivion Gate about half a days march north of the city." He took another bite of the apple as he scanned the group. "We're going to bring it down. As you can imagine, a gate to the plane of Oblivion merely half a day from here poses a serious threat to the capitol." Dralith took one last bite and discarded the apple core. He reached down to a pack at his feet and lifted it onto his shoulders. "Once we arrive at the gate we will discuss the plan further. With that, he left the inn en route to the northern gate and assumed they would follow in his wake.
Haha, hopefully soon enough
