Hah! It's a longer term plan than I've got. My character is most likely going to start by going to a comic convention and giving all her favourite artists blessings. And maybe empowering the best cosplayers with their subjects' abilities...

Her divine realm is probably going to end up looking like the biggest Vegas showroom. If you're passionate about your entertainment, you're allowed in.
Thanks! I look forward to seeing what everyone else shows up with.
Name: Libris Arcanum by Morgana, AKA Libby Morgan

Age: Written around 200 years ago.

Powers: Living Spellbook - Can cast any spell written in her pages, and improvise magic based around books.

Appearance: A woman of around 20, wearing a dull green leather bodysuit and a long thin white coat. Her dusty-blonde hair has pink tips, and is decorated with a red ribbon, which is also tied to her glasses.

Alternatively, a heavy tome with a dull green leather cover and a white dust jacket. Has sepia-coloured pages with pink edges and a red ribbon bookmark, which is also tied to a gemstone.

Bio: Two centuries ago, a powerful magician named Morgana recorded her knowledge in a great tome. She poured in spells and studies, along with philosophy, poetry and arts, and even her journal. However, after several decades, Morgana stopped using the book.

However, such a concentration of focused magic and willpower can cause strange effects. In this instance, the book began to think for itself. As first, new words appeared on it's pages, simple sentences but developing more and more complexity. Soon the book was casting the spells inside of it, including one that let it assume a human form.

While the book had a great deal of knowledge on certain subjects, it was still over a century out of date by the time it developed self-awareness enough to be lonely and leave it's abandoned library. After some misunderstandings, and near-misses with mortal authorities, the book was taken to a particular college.
Ok, here's an application for Earthling 2:

Full name: Angela Greene

Home planet: Earth

Age: 27

Appearance:

(Please pretend it's wearing trousers... I like everything else about the pic...)

Abilities: Environmental Adaptation and Flight - Angela's body has been altered so that it will change itself so she is perfectly comfortable in any environment, no matter how hot, cold, toxic, pressured etc. If she doesn't see it coming, she takes a few moments to adapt, so can still be hurt by attacks, but if she isn't killed outright will become immune to the effect, even when unconscious. As a side effect of being able to adapt to extreme gravity environments, Angela can alter her own personal gravity, to fly by 'falling' in any direction.

Skills: Diplomacy, Negotiation, Hostage Tactics

Bio: A young but talented hostage negotiator with an Earth police force, Angela already had the mindset to protect and serve on an intergalactic scale. When she was selected, her friends and family were overjoyed for her, and (with sensitive matters redacted first) she intends to keep a blog of her adventures, to help mankind understand all the new species out there.

When she was asked to pick her genetic superpowers, Angela though hard before picking the environmental adaptation. Her reasoning was that masks, shields and armour make people tense in delicate situations, and if she has to wear a face-concealing hazmat suit or heavy armour in certain environments she can't do her job as effectively.

Notes: Angela never wears a helmet - She doesn't need it for protection, and knows that showing one's face is highly effective when negotiating. She carries an advanced recording device, and often takes photographs or videos when the situation would warrant it.
Alright, here's a character pitch. I've not found a suitable picture yet, but if I come across one I'll edit it in.

I've thought of a couple of questions.

Following the pre-game godhood, are we aware of all our powers and how to use them, or is there a period of development and experimentation?

And secondly, are there other gods in other cities? Does the supernatural already exist in the world?
I'll give some though... right now we have

Pilot: Nannue
Doctor: Xiu-Xiu
Scientist: Serron

And potentially Galvrik filling the soldier role. Then there's whatever ShadowRaeper makes...
Hmm, missing roles... Stealth, Face/Diplomat, Weird psychic one...

Hey, @ShadowRaeper, what sort of character do you have planned?
My current seed of an idea is somewhere between unbridled hedonism and a patron of the arts - Let there be entertainment!
That doesn't seem that insane, really. Sounds like exactly the sort of fun stuff the game would have.
Worst case scenario, I'm sure one of use can double-up... I'll wait to see what the others make first, of course.
