We'll just have to do enough talking to make up for it... or at least get Cricket a pad and marker pen of some sort.

It Just Never Ends!

An acronym is when the letters that stand for something make a word, or a sort of word. So PET might stand for 'Personal equipment tags' or the like.

I'm planning on making a shapeshifter who's already had a few cycles to get the hang of their powers. Is there a canonical number of timeloops we've experienced before the game starts, or is it vague? Also, if we die in one loop we'll be fine in the next if I put a few fatal incidents in the background?

Personality: A cocky young Zora woman, out to see everything the world has to offer. With the soul of a hero, she always tries to do the right thing, but is easily lured by rumour and somewhat overconfident.

Background: Raised in Zora's Domain, Dia always loved stories of excitement and adventure. In a way, these saved her life, as when Zora's domain was frozen by Ganondorf, Dia was away on what she considered a mighty quest to dispatch octorocks. With her home filled with nothing but danger, Dia left Hyrule, taking up the life of a wandering explorer and adventurer.

Years later, Dia heard rumour that the Hero of Light had risen up to destroy Ganondorf and free Hyrule. Dia returned home, but by the time she arrived, Link had been defeated.

Crestfallen, Dia sat at the bottom of the river until a golden spark being carried by the current caught her eye. Picking it up, she felt emboldened and came to a realization. The Hero may have failed, but as long as there were people willing to stand up and fight for what is right, then Good was still alive.

Still carrying the shard of Courage, though ignorant of it's true nature, Dia set off for Oasis, to join the resistance.

Skills:
Like all Zora, Dia is an excellent swimmer and can breathe underwater or on land.
She has trained herself to be athletic and acrobatic, capable of moving quickly, dodging, jumping and climbing with ease.
She is also used to surviving in the wilderness, fishing for food or gathering edible plants.

Magic:
Bio-electricity - Dia can generate lightning energy from her body. As well as tossing ball-lightning or charging unarmed melee attacks, she has practiced long and hard to generate bio-magnetism as well. She can grapple metal objects with an energy-lash and deflect incoming attacks with metal weapons.

Gear: Dia is lightly equipped - Zora typically eschew carrying too much, as it causes drag underwater. She typically doesn't carry much more than a small knife, a few days worth of provisions, her rupee purse and some simple jewelry, to act as foci for her magic.

Weaknesses:
Built for speed, not strength or toughness
Dependent on magic energy
Weak to heat/fire

Thanks for the accept, I'll copy the details e characters tab when I'm not on my tablet... It does not like the internal scrolling on reply boxes when trying to copy.

I was also pondering making some sort of magic-item crafter, with a wisdom shard. If we are allowed multiple characters I might toss her in for some background details, or supplyimg the party with healing potions. If only she could get hold of enough bottles to supply everyone...

Fake edit: A boss with a Wisdom shard may be smart enough not to expose it's glowing weakpoint every few attacks.

Stand Tall - Pleasant Valley Sunday

Would it be alright if I was the sister of one of the Stand Killer's victims? Unless I've missed something, they've not all been named, but I don't know what you've got behind the GM's curtain.

So far, I'm thinking that from a family of Stand users, Mercury Deacon and the earth-shattering Stand 'We Will Rock You' was killed, and her sister Taylor May with 'Seven Seas of Rhye' is determined to get to the bottom of it. Family surname pending, but Queen seems a bit too on-the-nose. Maybe that's the out-of-town matriarch's stand...

She doesn't get into trouble, or act out beyond the usual teenage rebellion. Her electric guitar probably wouldn't be her parents' first choice, but playing an instrument does look good on college applications...

Seven Seas of Rhye appears as a green-blue trident-wielding mermaid, with a large numeral '7' in place of a face. It has a 'territory' effect with seven distinct abilities. The size of the territory and the available abilities is dependent on the amount of water nearby for SSoR to act through.

'I descend upon your earth from the skies' - Water is pulled from the atmosphere, encouraging it to rain. Area and intensity of rain depends on available moisture.
'I command your very souls you unbelievers' - Taylor May controls water around her, including water inside people, though other Stand-users are immune to this aspect.
'I stand before you naked to the eyes' - The Stand manifests, ready to fight
'Storm the master-marathon I'll fly through' - Requires a heavy rain storm, Taylor May can fly within her territory
'By flash and thunder-fire I'll survive' - Requires a lightning storm, adding thunder and lightning to Taylor May's arsenal
'Then I'll defy the laws of nature and come out alive' - Requires a lightning storm, Taylor May controls the water in cells to rapidly heal wounds to herself and allies
'I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye' - Requires a hugely intense storm, SSoR becomes a whirlpool pulling foes inside itself to churn, toss and eventually drown them if it's not soon defeated.
