@jasonwolf Hmm hmmm, alright. I can dig it. To keep his origin well out of the way and semi-consistent with Skyward Sword, let's say he's from some unknown location in the Haunted Wasteland.

I would also expect his database to be quite outdated-- acknowledging things that didn't exist back around the time he was first designed. I'm sure this goes without saying, but I would request not making any critically canon/plot relevant observations without clearing it by me first as well. (Such as remembering seeing the Hero of Time or Demise or anything like that.)

Also for consistency's sake, I would want for him to require some sort of oil for functioning. I'm open to ideas on that, but what about a certain type of peahat? Of the aggressive variety? The peahats in Skyward Sword are peaceful, but maybe an ancient flower and a peahat naturally grafted together without anyone realizing it and the result was an aggressive peahat. I'm thinking one peahat would produce enough oil for Noi to function for a solid two weeks or so. (We can say there are desert peahats. Whatevs.)

Just an idea. If you've got something better, feel free to suggest it.
@jasonwolf Ancient Robots would require quite a bit of world twisting to make work. Ancient Robots need Ancient Flowers in order to function-- which would all be loooooong gone by the time we got to this timeline. The only way to possibly get them would be by using Timeshift Stones, which are incredibly rare.

Tell me more about the idea you have. How would you incorporate an Ancient Robot with the current place in the timeline?
@jasonwolf Hey, guy-- go ahead and re-ask the question in the interest check and I'll be happy to answer it there.
@PapiTan LMAO But I'm voting for Perfume....

Generations have passed since the Hero of Time rescued Princess Zelda and sealed Ganondorf within the Sacred Realm. The Hero of Time then departed from Hyrule and become a legend that every person and creature knew, in one form or another. One fateful day, however, the seal of the Seven Sages began to weaken for some reason. This, of course, then allowed Ganondorf to break free and make good on his old and forgotten promise to one day get his revenge on the descendants of those responsible for his imprisonment.. As darkness creeps across the land, the people pray for the Hero of Time to save them once again, but-- surprise, surprise... he doesn't appear.

And thus the citizens of Hyrule, unprepared and afraid, are forced to defend themselves against Ganondorf as he begins his siege. Without a hero, things appear bleak, but should a select few rise to the occasion-- perhaps Hyrule may be destined for a happier ending....

In the dark of the night, a woman's voice, heavenly and full of light, speaks to our unlikely heroes.... Could this be the voice of one of the goddesses answering the prayers of her people? It's unlikely very many people will believe you... and also possible that this voice is merely a figment of your imagination... but recent rumors of Ganondorf's return have got you thinking.

After nearly a month of vivid dreams and being told to attend the Hero of Time Festival in Kakariko Village-- and with the date fast approaching-- you're beginning to think that maybe it's worth a shot. A shot in the dark, perhaps, but still a shot. What's the worst that could happen, anyway? You pick up some free food samples at the festival? You become as legendary as the Hero of Time? For whatever reason, you decide to go.

Heya folks! I've currently got 2 open slots for this here Zelda roleplay that I just started. There's just a little over 30 posts in the IC so far. If you are at all interested in joining, please shoot me a PM or message me on Discord (Baklava#8096) about what sort of character you'd like to be BEFORE filling out the CS. Please make sure you check out the current cast of characters so you can get an idea of the races and personalities we already have. I don't mind having more than one race or personality in the group, but variety is always preferred. I'm more concerned with the races bit, though. There are a lot of different races in Zelda and I'm really being quite flexible with them (we've got a Poe, a Subrosian, a Skullkid, and a Twili-- just to give you an idea).

Please note this is an ADVANCED RP. I'm not looking for novels or anything post-wise, though. The premise may seem simple, but I'm really looking for people who are interested in character development, relationships (not just romantic ones), and will be willing to stick with the story for the long haul. As the GM, I can assure you I'll do my best, but I am always open to suggests or requests (i.e. character arcs, if you so desire).

Here's a link to the RP:

roleplayerguild.com/topics/154033/ooc

I can provide you with a brief summary of what's happened to help you jump in more quickly, but I would like for you to eventually get to reading those 30 posts if you plan on joining.

Feel free to ask me any general questions here! For everyone's benefit, y'know. And free bumps.

Adieu!

@Holy Grail Ashe already knows this, but I'm requesting that you three post your posts separately for now. Since it's been brought to our attention that there wasn't actually any interacting going on (due to time constraints?). So to decrease the chance of anyone missing the upcoming event because they were waiting on someone, we want everyone posting their own sections.

Next time y'all do a collab post that requires a lot of inner dialogue at the beginning, I'm going to suggest you guys start with the interaction part and fill in the inner dialogue parts as time permits. Should help with the "schedules not syncing up" issue.

eh wot?
Arbiter dorm blueprints have been added to the survival guide. Read'em and weep.

The whole idea was so ludicrous. Terrifying, too. She couldn't really be expected to go along with it all, right? This slab of metal at her hip was just that. A slab of metal. She didn't actually know how to use it-- not like Derek had. Just as much as she felt darkness pushing her away, however, she felt an ominous pull. What did she have left to lose? A failing business? An empty fishing hole?

She remained still as the poe floated forward-- Lev.

I feel like I should go, Felicia scratched her shoulder and chewed her lip, But I don't think I should....

Next went a silent Shiekah man-- or she thought he was a man. He held a small piece of torn parchment out to Lethe, who floated slightly closer to see.

"Griz?" the fairy read. Felicia could mentally picture her raising an eyebrow. She was definitely an expressive little thing. Not that she'd known many fairies. "Alright... fine. Whatever."

Following him were two men-- one of them another Shiekah. The Anders brothers, she mentally noted. Surprisingly, the disagreeable cloaked figure-- Magus-- stepped up next. Though he was quickly superseded by "Jilliiiiannnnnn!" the skullkid. The large man and little girl she'd followed into the graveyard entered next-- Jaege and Veitaru.

If a child is going to help save Hyrule, you have little reason not to, she chastised herself, propelling her body forward. Just GO!

"Not so fast," a large blue fireball crashed and sizzled on the steps before her. Lethe floated down in front of Felicia's face-- close enough for her to see she had her little arms crossed against her purple petal dress.

"You were the one that said you wanted to bottle me," the fairy said. Her eyes narrowed accusingly.

"M- me? I- I didn't-- I mean, I would never--"

"You don't think the Goddess would choose just any fairy to lead a group of crazies like you to save everyone in Hyrule, do you?"

"Well, I--"

"Of COURSE not! If you think you can bottle me up just like that, you've got another thing coming. Now tell me your name and get inside."

"F-Felicia Reid," she stammered before scurrying up the steps. She had seen the dark curtain give everyone else pause and she was no exception. She hesitated before walking through the thick darkness that had swallowed up everyone else, tentatively placing a hand through.

Cold.

She quickly withdrew her hand and rubbed it fearfully. It wasn't just cold, it was unnatural.

"I said," Lethe chimed behind her, "Get inside~"

A light but purposeful shove from the impatient purple fairy guide sent Felicia staggering through the threshold. She tripped over her feet, bumping into something hanging from the ceiling and covered in rough fabric before landing on her rear. Looking up she realized it wasn't a something she'd bumped. Her eyes widened-- it was Lev, the Poe.

"Uh... sorry," she all but whispered, readjusting her hat.
