Consider this a placeholder until I come up with a punchy, pithy status.

Hmmm, well, that's a bother. I suppose I'll have to get to work and see if I manage to knock out the character sheet in time. I'm horrendously busy over the weekend so it may or may not happen, I guess we'll see.

And I do like Darren Criss, though who doesn't. What role will he be in?

FIRST.

Can I claim the head Performer slot?

I'm thinking of using Grant Gustin's oh-so delicious face to make a singer/dancer, probably liberally stealing from his character on Glee.
All this history... all these people who know each other...

I am afeared.

But also totally in for some DRAMA, especially with all these delicious face claims being thrown about.

I'm thinking of either Grant Gustin or Nicholas Hoult for my character's face.
@LordOfTheNight
I hear you, sent you a character sheet in a PM.

Ah, I see. I thought we were doing some group brainstorming, I didn't realise there were already a lot of things decided and set in stone.

But fair enough, I guess I'll wait for the GM information release.

Sorry, I feel we're talking at crossed purposes. Why does a mountain definitely mean the border of a province? There are examples of mountains in the centre of countries in real life, Ben Nevis for example, but this is a fantasy land. Obvious inspiration for a central mountain would be the Eyrie but there's also the Lonely Mountain or that mountain in the Inheritance cycle the name of which I don't remember but had a bunch of dwarves in it.

Personally I think a capital city at the base of a mountain is a cool idea, particularly as it lends itself really well to a deep cultural divide between those that live on the mountain and those that live at the bottom. Say if the mountain was seen as a holy location, like Mount Olympus, perhaps the people who live on it have less learning and shun technology but have a closer spiritual connection to the faith and are seen as holy men, while those at the bottom are often seen as soft and weak but control trade, commerce, politics and develop the most advanced technology of the era. There's a lot of stuff that can be done with that set up and it satisfies both parties in a tight vote.
@Buddha
Well sure, but why can't it be at the bottom of a mountain?
@MissCapnCrunch
Or have a city at the base of the mountain? That what you can have societal split between the city folk who live at the bottom and the hardened mountain folks at the top of the mountain.
@LordOfTheNight
Ah. Okay. Is there a time limit for completed characters?
@MissCapnCrunch
I vote for the Mountain (that rides).
