"Wait, what-?" Before Hiro could finish, Mikael was already over by Melissa. "...the hell?" Something was off about that guy, which wasn't surprising considering where they were, but he still wasn't about to let his new friend cause problems for either of them. He followed him, put his hand on his shoulder and crouched down, putting their heads at the same level. "Hey Melissa," He greeted her with an amiable nod then snapped a hard stare at Mikael.

He dropped his voice low, so Melissa wouldn't hear, but she might have been sitting too close not to catch a word or two of what he was saying. "What the fuck do you mean 'gather them around', huh?" He muttered, agitated, "Look, if you wanted to meet a girl, you could've just said so and I would have introduced you, but..." He shifted closer and shot a glance to Melissa, then to an orderly observing them from afar, "We're not allowed to have sex with other patients. The orderlies already don't like it when we get too friendly, you know? And you're new, so they're gonna be real harsh on you, so..." He pulled back before he could go on and just shook his head at Mikael. He looked to Melissa again and saw her drawing, "Nice picture."
I spruced up Walker's appearance because I thought it was lacking. I wrote it when I was half-asleep. Granted, I'm half-asleep now, but... Anyway, I hope it's still okay.
Walker woke up late that morning after having stayed out late last night, dodging harpies and hanging out by the lake. There was no way he would miss breakfast, though. Between the early risers going bump before light and everyone else going bump with their morning routines, there reached a point where he couldn't sleep through all the noise. He got up, still wearing yesterday's clothing, and heaved a deep yawn. He took his time with the showers and getting dressed, so by the time he got to the pavilion, he was half-awake. The pragmatist part of him wanted to sit where he damn pleased instead of at the overcrowded Hermes' table, but the part of him that could barely keep his eyes open thought it was too early to stick it to the man. He scraped off some of his food into the fire and moaned something that sounded like "energy".

As he went back to his seat, he spotted Adrian at the Ares' table, stuffing his face like some kind of animal. He gave him the courtesy of approaching him from his good side so he could see him as well as hear him snidely say, "Don't choke, meathead." A smirk curled on his lip.
After seeing people sit down after coming in, Ethan followed suit. He would have taken a corner, but both corners were occupied by a halfling and a man- he thought he recognized him as the owner of that clothing store- What was it? Something about dragons. So, he sat himself at a table between them as far out of their line of sight of each other as he could manage. He didn't know what was going on, but he caught the looks being thrown between them and didn't want to get involved.

He put his briefcase onto the table and debated opening it up and doing some work while he waited to be served. There was some sensitive information in it, but nothing people wouldn't find out in a week or two, if they didn't know already. He rubbed his thumbs on the clasps of the briefcase. It didn't matter, he decided, opened it up. In a few moments, he had out a manilla file frayed and thick with post-it notes and paperclips attached to pages of text and his laptop. The briefcase remained closed by his side. He propped his elbow on the table and stroked his chin as he read over what he wrote earlier that day.
And Bard's couplet got put between my couplet.
The sounds of people starting to stir in their cells reached Miles in his own cell. He rolled in his bed to get more comfortable and only succeeded in sliding off the mattress and onto the floor. A grunt followed by a low chuckle and then a moan of pain came from the tangle of limbs and a blanket on the floor. After a moment of shifting, Miles pulled himself out of the blanket while rubbing the bump on his tailbone. He didn't remember that being there before, but he realized he didn't remember a lot of things... He yawned big and stretched out his back before looking around his room, sniffing as he went.

Inside one of the drawers was a book called "The Holy Bible" accompanied by a dull pencil, but before curiosity got the better of him, he closed the drawer and went to his bars to get acquainted with the others. Between the shouts and the "Hello?"s and the slurring girl, he thought it'd be best to answer with a "I'm awake! Over here! Can you see me?" He shoved his arm out between the bars and waved it about. "Anybody know where we are?"
Wow. First time I've been Rick Roll'd via text.
Yeah, I'll pass on the "hornet cooked by bees" despite my being a Bee.

I'm entering Miles now.
Alright, I'm no prophet, but...

The unclaimed child will stare deeply into darkness
Or ruin shall befall the final conquest

Does that make any sense? Is this okay?
