Well for now assuming everyone who has shoen interest will be joining, I'm going to get the OOC set up. At least having an even number for now we can get started. Maybe. Hopefully. We'll see?

Anywho more detailed OOC coming soon. tm
Yeah the idea is to stick to the original 7 classes and fit characters into the class that makes the most sense. Another thing to note is I want to avoid guns just as the normal Fate has, as a character who uses guns doesn't really fit into the whole thing. This is specifically Servants of course, but if someone really, really wants to play a character that uses a gun, I guess that could be an Archer Class.

Something else to keep in mind is that Fate seems to use the Assassin Class as their general go to for characters that don't fit into other classes. Like in Stay Night, the 'Assassin' who probably should have been a Saber.
I should point out I'll most likely be playing a Servant myself, so the 'slots' if you will that are open are 2 servants, 3 Masters. Just want to make sure there's enough interest to get it going first.
Forgot to mention, OCs are fine too.
Fate, an ongoing story of heroic spirits, forever immortalized to protect the world from evil, turned into weapons for sport. The greatest heroes, and villains, known from history and mythology. The mighty Hercules. The noble King Arthur. Even the Just Robin Hood. Such figures became Heroic Spirits with inhuman powers at their disposal, able to be summoned and feed off the mana of a mage master to do battle.

But what if spirits were being called from even further beyond. Spirits of champions even from other worlds, other realities. Worlds would collide in the strangest Grail War to date.

DISCLAIMER ALERT

Due to the issues this site has been having lately, members of this RP should be willing to join a Discord server for the RP. This server will be used as an IM to discuss the RP, alongside or perhaps in place of an OOC tab on this site. Furthermore, if the site continues having major issues and downtime, the RP may be moved entirely to Discord, so that it doesn't get cut off. The downtime and site issues have been pretty much what stopped me from getting my last RP going and getting the OOC up, so let's not have that happen again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OOC:

-Rules-

Each player plays one character. Total size of RP will be 6-8 players. Half masters, half servants, so you have to decide first off if you want to play a Master, or a Servant.

Characters can be crossovers. Both Masters, and Servants. But it has to make sense.

Be open to Discord. Be devoted to the RP and willing to put your focus into it to keep it going and not leave everyone waiting on you because you decided to join a new RP while you're already having to post in 4 other RPs at the same time. Don't be that person please.

-Info-

So yes, the idea is pretty basic. Take the Fate setting, and put anyone into it that you wish. Collide as in, Worlds Collide, an alternative name for this RP would be Fate/Crossover.

In this RP, you the players will be able to play whoever you want as a Servant. You want to play an Assassin Ruby Rose? Go for it. Want to play a Saber Ryuko or Satsuki? Also fine. But it can go further than that. Hell, want to play as the USS Enterprise from Kancolle/Azur Lane and consider her an Archer? You are wholely free to do so. Just as long as it all make sense. I mean, saying "I want to be Master Chief, Berserker Class" wouldn't make much sense. And also, general character creation should be around the norm of what you would see. I brought up USS Enterprise who in her setting, fires arrows from her bow that turn into planes. But understand that there are ways to play around these abilities that fit them into the role of Fate. She isn't just, Master Chief, shooter of guns and wielder of a fist.

Likewise, Masters can be crossovers as well. The fun and focus of having crossovers shouldn't be JUST for the people who play Servants. So if you want to play... Robin from Fire Emblem as a mage Master. Go for it. Just, again please make sense. Masters should be a character who naturally has some kind of magic. You have to be a mage to be a master.

Lastly in the line of characters, alternate versions of characters are allowed. This goes for both canon Servants, and crossover Servants. If you want to be an older, adult Ruby Rose who is the "I've seen some things man" kind of character, go for it. Likewise if you want to play a canon Servant like Mordred as "Queen Mordred Pendragon, Legitimate Heir to Arthur Pendragon and Queen of Britain" then by all means, be my guest. I mean... I might do so. WHO KNOWS.

Now the final point to make that I can think of at the moment, is that this will be, most likely, a 6 person RP. I mentioned it might be 8 but I'm aiming for 6. The reason for this is, like I said in the intro, this will be a strange Grail War.

Normally a Servant of each class is summoned, leaving 7 total Servants, with 7 total Masters. On rare occasion, a Grail War kicks off where there are two factions, each having 7 pairs to fight each other in a sort of team battle. In this Grail War however, there are no limits to 'team composition' as you may call it other than one class per team. By that I mean you can have an assassin, Saber, and Berserker. Or, you can have an Archer, Caster, and Rider. Whatever we come up with really, based on our characters. And yes indeed, this is a 'team' based Grail War. The RP would just be all over the place if the whole thing was just each of our pairs doing their own thing and occasionally crossing paths. And so:

This Grail War is set between 7 teams of 3. 21 total pairs, so 21 Servants, 21 Masters. And of course, one Ruler to watch over everything. If we do in fact go up to 8 people in the RP, it will instead be 5 teams of 4 pairs for 20 servants, 20 masters.

That's about it, I will go into further detail with an OOC but until then need to see if this idea actually grabs any attention.

P.S. positions will be first come first serve, with a 24 hour response window after the interest check. Meaning, if you say you are interested in the RP here on the interest check, once I MAKE the OOC, you then have 24 hours to notify me that you are still taking part. If I don't receive an answer after say, 12 hours, I might send a message to you. If the 24 hours passes though and there is someone else interested over the limit, then I will give the position to them.
Hmm, this is intended to be a small group, 3-4 people because anything larger most often fails with too many people dropping in and out. But we've got a group of 6 already.
Not going to go too in depth of a big story post setting up the universe here, but the basic idea is that our characters are hunters, always going after the largest of prey. Perhaps they are from a hunting guild, or simply separate famed hunters who have joined forces for the first time. But the RP will start off with each of the hunters having heard rumor that the legendary dragons truly do exist in a land far to the north. Nothing is known about them, and dragons are to the people of this world what they are in real life. Just myths and legends about giant winged lizards that breath fire.

And so, seeing this as the potentially greatest hunt of their lives, our characters will set out to find these dragons, and bring back their skulls as trophies. Soon enough, they may find this hunt is just too much for them. After all, it's a pretty big step going from hunting Trolls and Ogres to the Dragon. Especially when they find out just how fearsome a dragon really is. Really, the legends don't do them justice. And moreso, they find that dragons, while certainly the worst of the creatures, are not the only monsters in this new land.

So basically, they'll head up to hunt dragons, find out dragons are much more monstrous than myth and legend ever told, and that there are many other monsters in this land that they can also hunt. Now the group has to decide if they actually set out to try and hunt these creatures, or if it's simply too much for them.

General setting is fantasy with a bit of magic. Magic isn't something that's super widespread. Like you don't have mages guilds or anything like that, but you certainly have a Wizard or two here and there wandering about. They aren't unheard of, just the sort of thing where often you meet people who think Magic is a bunch of fairy tales until they see it for themselves.

Bows, swords, things like this are typically what the characters will be using. And to hunt these creatures, they will have to set traps, and craft things that require quite a bit of skill in engineering. Fortunately, we should have at least one person in the group who knows how to do such things. But let's take a Balista for example, if they need such a thing to bring a monster down. Well then they are going to have to collect quite a bit of lumber, even some metal and make some pretty powerful rope. IT's no easy task, but that's the whole point of the RP. Exploring, trapping, hunting.

Over time, I intend for a group to move up north to aid them, set up a camp, that as the RP progresses in the long-term can become a village, then a town, even finally a fortress where the group will have many allies to aid them, both in hunting, and gathering.

Our characters will quite literally be the first Monster Hunters, but first, they have to prove it can be done. If it even can.
Darn, would have been interested in this but as usual Mordred is an instant pick. Oh well good luck.
