I'm glad heh, I'm going to wait a little longer on this and then go to OOC because I think seven is a relatively good number (perhaps not story wise, but in terms of each others time constraints).
Lovely! That's six so far, I'd really like to have a few more people though at least, and (but don't dislike me for saying this, it's not anyone in particular) I hope anyone who shows interest and decides to join us intends to stay for the longrun. I confess I'm a little saddened by the various RP's that flop because core players vanish.
8-Bit-bump!
Oh gosh I'm happy for your interest! I was worried about this one so I even rewrote the thing twice to get more attention hehe. I really need a few more people though, or... more than a few, so if you know anyone you might invite...!
Bump!
Starlight
(Working Title, because it's pretty)

You're young, wild, and free... but you're also alone for the summer, which is great in theory but not so much in practice. The rested and uneventful days slowly begin drifting into the tedious repetition that makes you long for long hours of classes again and resets the cycle anew. Thankfully this year is different, and before you even have begun to unpack your things at home you get a message, it's from a friend, you're invited for the summer to some big, fancy lake-house.

So all in all this is a casual story with more direction than goal oriented plot, focused on socializing and fun!
It starts off with my character (Dai) whom comes from a wealthy family, sending out invitations to a few friends to join them during the summer in their families lake house off in the woods, and encouraging them to bring a long a friend or two if they'd like. It's fully stocked, with all modern conveniences (to take the fun right out of camping) and a truck comes up once a week to restock, but other than that the building is a few miles from anything else (there is a complimentary taxi service that will take you from the train station, located on the outskirts of the nearest town, to the cabin).

Well friends are friends, and often times someone has trouble deciding who to invite, so the invitation gets bounced around and in the end the majority of the people coming don't even know Dai to begin with, but it'll be fun all the same.

General rules apply, I understand this is a social RP and for that I really need quite a few people to join and stay for the long-haul I also know that young adults (such as myself) are prone to romancing so I ask that anything 'private' be done in PMs. Please be accepting and understanding of all different kinds of people. If someone makes you uncomfortable see me or in extreme cases a Mod. Vulgar language etc is acceptable in small douses as long as it's plot / character relevant etc etc. Blah blah.

So pretty much I'm looking for some dedicated and talented roleplayers who can take what I consider a 'slice of life' RP with little detail and really make something of it.
I'm afraid to ask, but, who's interested :?
Ah, unfortunately I think I'll have to step out of the story now, while it's still without weave.
It must have gone over my head to write in past tense and honestly it is one of my weaker areas. I can crank out four or five quick paragraphs like my last post in a few minutes but past tense correction is definitely going to encroach upon my other obligations. In addition to this, I can't shake some uncomfortable feelings about this, but that's probably just me.

I wish you all the best!
Happy Story-Boarding!
Okay! I made a post, sorry it took me so long I got really caught up in a game I've been playing. I'll try to check throughout the day if I can. I hope you don't mind my post, I've not written or roleplayed in a year or two so I'm a bit out of it and it's very wordy if not roundabout. But I was trying to incorporate a dreamlike feeling. Shorter posts (a paragraph or two) from me from here on out though probably. Anyway it's 3AM, I can't wait to see what happens!
{Removed, with love.}
Hello, Hollowed! I just really wanted to say I love your screen-name! As for being new to roleplaying, it works a little differently than Co-writing with a friend but it's largely the same concept give or take a lot more patience for other peoples writing-time to come around (if... that helps at all). You're going to see players at all sorts of writing levels and overtime I'm sure a lot of them will get better too, the site from my experience has been full of great stories, creative minds and wonderful people (though there is no place without its flaws and the occasional hiccup does happen). You've probably noticed the site's under some renovations after a few issues annnd I'm rambling, I'll just link to you some things that were Linked to me not too long ago, and that should clear up a lot of questions!
