Anais & Xander | Reed | The Tree Gang
"You know, as much as I love watching you chow down 15 billion blood-popsickles, I think it's about time we leave, hm. Whadda ya say?" Xander said, letting out a loud yawn as a messy faced Anais looked up at him with a frown. "You're a ghost, you don't even get tired!" Xander tsked at the thirsty vampire in front of him. "I'm trying to tell you I want to leaaaaave." Anais quickly scoffed down the last bit of her popsickle before grabbing another one. "Ready?" Anais nodded, already digging into the fresh frozen treat. Juggling between holding up her umbrella, and trying not to let her bloodsickle melt, Anais whined to a floating Xander ahead of her. "It's meltinggggg," Xander waved her off before noticing the Tree of Dreams. "You wanna check it out? You know, I've never been there before. I think it'd be pretty rad." Xander says, turning around, grinning at Anais, who returns with a shrug. "Sure, why not."
Anais finished off her popsickle as the pair slowly make their way through the gardens. "Isn't that your friend?" Xander whispered to Anais, who was busy noticing a stain in her shirt from her messy dessert. "Huh, what?" Looking up, she noticed Reed who was making his way towards the pair. "Hey!" Anais waved, grinning a fangy smile at him. She liked having at least one other vampiric pal, even if they didn't talk much. The vampire looked up at her and let out a little chuckle. The scarf covered boy tapped his cloth covered cheek gently, before he said quietly, in his calm youthful voice, "you have something on your face." Still chuckling, he walked past the pair, as Anais stopped, with a confused look on her face. "What does he mean by .." touching her hand to her face, she pulled back to find red smeared all over her hands. "oH MY GOD," she shouted, as Xander laughed, continuing on making his way to the tree. "I had that all over my face the entire time? Why didn't you tell me? God, that's embarrassing." After a little bit of walking, Anais and Xander finally made their way up to the group of people. "Howdy, folks!" Xander waved enthusiastically as Anais wiped her face worriedly with her spare handkerchief. "Um.. Hi," she said, standing slightly behind Xander.
