well I guess now is as good as a time as any to say something. @propro, dang it had I been able to open hiders i'd know a lot sooner we'd have two pirate themed zanpakuto. albeit yours is much cooler honestly, but now i'm questioning my kraken themed zanpakuto.

...lol and as I'm typing this I get an awesome idea. how's our characters being brothers sound?

Haori: Standard Issue, but does not wear it traditionally. Lets it hang on his shoulders during captains meetings, and special occasions. Otherwise he says it hinders his movement. Of course in substitution he dutifully wears an altered lieutenants armband stating he is a captain.

_{Hosei is a Master of Zanjutsu and Hakuda, an Expert of Hohó, and a low level Practitioner of Kido. During his time in the Shinigami Academy, Hosei excelled in swordsmanship and hand-to-hand. He even graduated among the top ten students in each subject. However he didn't depend all that much on speed and agility opting for endurance. He only graduated top twenty-five among his classmates. As for Kido he barely scraped by with the required marks. Imagine his surprise when he discovered his Zanpakuto utilized Kido. Lucky enough for him it wasn't too hard to master!}

_{Umi no niwa no ójo (Sea Garden Princess) is a cold, calculating, cynical old octopus. Irratable as she is irratating, but dependable. Undyingly loyal and protective although she does treat Hosei like a child. A master of her element she grants Hosei the power of the sea.}

₪ - Inner World

_{On the seafloor lays a spanish galleon in ruin. The sunken ship has been claimed by the sea it once ruled. Covered in coral and undersea plantlife the ship is bustling with life. Fish of all shapes and sizes live in harmony. On the side of the ship is a gaping hole, evidence to it's demise. Inside the shadow float two gleaming gilden orbs. Seemingly the perfect bed chamber for a princess among the octopus' garden.}

₪ - Shikai

_{Hosei starts a fight with a one handed stance. When he gets serious he switches to a traditional two handed Kendo stance. If he absolutely has to release his Shikai he changes to a traditional Fencing stance and says, "Claim your prey, Umi no niwa no ójo!" The sword itself transforms into an elegant cutlass. The blade nearly doubles in width, and takes a tad more of a curve coming to a more prominant point. The guard turns into an elaborate handbasket embedded with the jewels that once adorned Hosei's hand. Along with the deadly blade Hosei can summon and control Umi no niwa no ójo's giant tentacles from eight floating orbs of water that surround him in a halo over his head. Hosei can also control the orbs moving them as he sees fit. He can only reposition up to four at one time. The tentacles are tough and strong, but should one ever become severed it will retreat to it's orb and disperse it. The main modus operandi of this form is to detain the opponent and land the finishing blow.}

_{And the coup de grâce! This is your characters ace in the whole, their 'final form' if you will. It should be an extension of what your Shikai can do but to a more powerful degree. I'll be needing equal detail and clarity for this section as well.}

I suppose that's true. i just did a bit of my aforementioned research and remembered who's role I usually take over. Squad 7 Captain Komamura. I don't think I saw anyone claiming that slot. So if that's free i'll try my damnedest to fill it. initial thoughts on a char i might make ability wise might not be wholly original, but still cool. I think. Still s sort of a summoning type thing where his zanpakto turns into a elaborate cutlass and summons/conrols tentacles, then bankai summons the whole kraken. very pirate themed i know but kinda fits with squad 7's deal with duty, a code of honor, and chivalry. It's better than my even more unorginal idea of the sword turning into a broadsword and summoning a knight instead of a samurai. XP

i'm really interested, but it's been so long since i've last seen any bleach. i'd most likely have to do hours of research for my part, but there's the fact i might not get in (due to limited role slots) so i'm reluctant in joining. I also have some technical difficulties I have to manuver so an OOC and CS is needed to sway my desicion. I look forward to working and writing in this universe again so hopefully all works out. :3
