Bio

Call me Spencer not my real name. I'm 17 years old, from the Philippines, pansexual, a Journalism student, and a generally badass person, if I do say so myself. I roleplay in any genre, as long as it's a plot that I'm interested in and can grasp easily. I mostly play females, but can sometimes play males. If you wanna 1x1, I really wanna do some fxf plots. :>

Lol. Thought this was the characters tab. :p An earthbender's reserved for you Pie. We'd love to have you BlackCat. @rextremendum It seems both of our characters are from Ba Sing Se. Maybe that's part of how they became teammates. And you can put your cs in the Character tab :>

Republic City's Pro-Bending Tournament
Not yet started | Open Roles | Looking for a co-gm
The RP is set in Republic City, before the events portrayed in the Legend of Korra. The equalists haven't caused too much trouble, other than their continuous propaganda in the Republic City Park. The RP will revolve around the players in this year's Pro-Bending Tournament and all the drama that surrounds them.
The Game
Pro-bending is a popular sport originating in Republic City that involves two teams of three benders, one from each of the three main bending arts. The objective of the sport is to gain as much territory within the ring as possible within three minutes, or, alternatively, to drive the members of the opposing team over the edge of the ring.
The Pro-bending Championship Tournament is an annual sporting event that features the sixteen best teams in the entire league. Played during a week in the last month of the year, the teams compete in elimination-style matches, with the winning team receiving the jackpot prize following the championship tournament. Each tournament team must ante up thirty thousand yuans for the championship pot in order to participate, making the total pot worth four hundred eighty thousand yuans. The tournament follows an eight-match elimination round consisting of the sixteen best teams. A quarterfinal made up of four rounds is conducted, consisting of the eight winning teams from the previous leg of the tournament. The four teams that win their respective matches advance to battle each other in a semifinal round, consisting of two different matches. Finally, in the finals, the two winning teams at the end of the tournament face off in the championship match. The winners receive the jackpot and the title of being that year's pro-bending champions. For full rules of the game, please visit this page. For information about the arena, please visit this page. GM Notes
A lot of this is a work in progress. Suggestions are appreciated. Questions are welcomed. A co-gm is needed. Oh. And here's the CS:
If I missed something here that you think is necessary, tell me, okay? WE NEED OTHER TEAMS! :>
Name: Felicity "Liss" Mason Age: 22 Equipment:
  • A hunting knife.
  • Standard issue sniper rifle.
Profession: Soldier? (idk what to call it but she sometimes helps with security and doing rounds around the city) Personality: Liss is confident and exuberant, someone who is often described by other people as childish because of her little antics. She is someone who's always prepared to offer a helping hand, especially around the city where she feels that people need to do more. She's not particularly book-smart, but Liss knows how to handle people. She can determine their emotions and feelings with just a simple look, and knows the perfect words to say to influence someone's emotions. Liss' innocence sometimes turns into naivety, to the point that she can't determined which is good for her and which isn't. She's also honest to the point of being tactless, often hurting people's feelings without knowing it. She's also quite possessive, especially when it comes to her relationships with people. She gets jealous real easily, and hates how clingy she becomes during times like that. Bio: Before the infection, Liss never really cared about politics and whatnot. She simply enjoyed her life as a student in Minnesota, studying computer engineering and doing her duty as a member of a Greek athletic organization. She was failing, but despite it, she still attempted to put up a positive attitude. Her roommate then had been an activist rallying against the government, but Liss never really paid attention to what her reason had been. She often heard words like 'revelation' and 'vampires', which she just put down as metaphors, because really? Vampires? Liss had been in the middle of an exam when the infection happened, and she couldn't believe what she was seeing. She had been scared out of her wits, and had come close to being a zombie happy meal when she met Diana, the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen. She watched as Diana ripped the zombies apart with her bare hands, and Liss was in awe. She quickly learned that Diana was a vampire when Diana changed in front of her from being a goddess into a monster. But, Liss found that she wasn't afraid. She offered her blood and asked for Diana to take her in. She didn't know why she did, but Diana made Liss her familiar and led her to Los Angeles, where they found a sanctuary. Ever since then, Diana has trained Liss into protecting herself from the zombies. Liss' natural strength and agility had helped for when she was learning to use meelee weapons. Learning to fire a gun, on the other hand, had been something that Liss never grasped. Liss contributes to the city by helping out with the guards when they do rounds, but usually she just acts as Diana's familiar.
I think Daniels is for regular, right? And Walter is for honors. Idk if there's already one for AP or if AP and honors are the same, lol
Lunar Catastrophe
The city of Dremouria is the only thing left standing after World War III. Behind their strong walls, people live knowing that they are the lucky ones. They have food, shelter, and security. And they have the Lunar Catastrophe making sure that there will always be order amongst them. The LC takes place every time Dremouria witnesses a full moon. The LC starts the day after the full moon is spotted, and ends when the full moon is replaced by a gibbous moon. During the LC, citizens who were born on the month the LC takes place must compete, unless they are younger than ten, older than 60, or is given a pardon by the High Monarch. During the LC, participants are brought into an arena set in the middle of Dremouria, where they must kill or be killed. An individual wins by having ten deaths on his/her hand, and is taken from the arena and returned home if they so wish. They can stay in the arena and continue to fight, as more kills earns them more credits. Any and all forms of cooperation is not allowed, and participants who break this rule will be killed by the monarchy without any further questions. Another thing about the LC is that the people of Dremouria have 'softwares'. These softwares give them special abilites (i.e, telekinesis, etc.) and are made by one of the four manufacturers: From most expensive and powerful to cheapest and weakest softwares: Alpha, Gamma, Epsilon, Phi. Dremouria is also cut into four parts, named after the manufacturers. Those in Phi are the lowest in rank and constitutes of workers, while those in Alpha are members of the monarchy and high class people. Citizens of Dremouria may only receive one software in their lifetime and it cannot be uninstalled. Citizens in Alpha, or those who have gathered enough credits to be recognized by the monarchy as Lunar Guards may apply to get another software installed, but only the toughest of minds can readily accept two softwares. Most find that they cannot fully control their second software.
More Information
Yay for more interest! Will probably change the setting to the avatar universe instead of our universe because duh. It's way awesomer. And I'm looking for a co-gm for when we make this a thing? Any of you fellas wanna help me out?
I was actually thinking of making a fire-bender myself. :p (This acts as a bump, I guess?)
:> Anyone want to make a bit of a history with Briar? Since she's a junior, I figured some of the other students might know her too.
Briar mumbled her replies to Isabella as she deposited all her books into her locker. They were organized according to their size, squeezed together so that it would need an extreme use of force to pry them from their spot. It didn't even matter since Briar had a feeling that those books will not be leaving her locker any time soon. If she needed books, there were always people she can coerce into offering their books to her. That was one of the benefits of creating 'pets', as she liked to call them, ever since she was a freshman. Isabella left and Briar sighed. Her skull was still pounding and the brightness of the hallway lights wasn't making it any better. She skimmed over her schedule and groaned. Contemporary US Studies was next and Daniels was one of the teachers that had an active vendetta against her. She had to chuckle at the thought. She supposed Mr. Daniels had a right to be angry at her. She did trash his brand new car the year before - got her gang to destroy it and spray-painted the entire thing with all the insults the students have whispered about him. First day and her first class was with a teacher that hated her? Oh, Briar had a feeling this would be good. She hang around outside the classroom, leaning against the row of lockers there and causing whatever trouble she could with the people passing by her. Adrianne, a red-head senior that Briar spent some time with in her freshman year, even walked past her and offered Briar a stick of cigarette. It just so happened that the janitor was making his rounds, so instead of lighting up their sticks, Briar and Adrianne set fire to the man's mop. After a bit of a laugh at the janitor's expense, Adrianne went on her way and Briar finally decided to enter the classroom. Laughter was just dying down and Briar arched a brow. It didn't seem like they knew of what happened outside, so it had to be some student making a fool of themselves inside. She spotted one guy attempting to blend in with his chair and grinned. What was that boy's name? Brad? Well, he surely didn't know how to deal with Daniels. "Well, well, well. Finally decided to join us, Peyre?" Mr. Daniels spat out as Briar made her way to the empty seat directly in front of Mr. Daniels' table. "You know how I love history," she fired back with a wink, causing some of the other students to chuckle underneath their breath. Briar swore she could see steam coming out of the man's ears, which made her let out a chuckle of her own. She gave Mr. Daniels a salute, before closing her eyes and taking a nap.
