I'm back~
What if, (and this is something I've wanted to do) if we end up with too many people, we could add more classes, instead of sticking with just canon ones.

I assume any potential overseers would be handled by Angel and Alice rather than a regular pleb pc person. It'd probably be Shielder and/or Avenger that might get added if Alice wants to do anything, though that's really just a guess on my part than based on anything I'm aware of.

There will be no additional Servant classes.

We could always just have someone play as the overseer or whatever. But that's probably too much power for a mere PC.

No one man should have all that power. (I'll be playing the Overseer~)

I like you.

Y-You too...

I'll be going over character reviews, now~
I vote for dice rolls.

With values depending on the circumstances. E.g. if Archer takes a pot shot from a super far distance then it's a 10% chance hitting sort of thing and you roll that.

Because even if you moderate it but don't use a rolling system, it means people will refuse to get hit unless it's very decisive or convincing. Any strategic low success rate low reward kind of move will never work.

I will not be doing dice rolls. Naturally, people will avoid being hit (and typically, most Servants will be able to avoid superficial injuries rather easily), but if you just outright refuse to be hit when you clearly deserve to be, you will be scolded.

If an Archer takes a shot from a super far distance, the result isn't based off of random chance. An Archer is not going to take a pot shot. They're going to shoot an arrow from 4km away with pinpoint accuracy, while jumping off a skyscraper and spinning a whole 360 degrees, screaming, "Yolo!".

If something happens that is like, actually based off of random chance, sure, I'll roll a dice. Otherwise, I will not. Sorry if this comes off as harsh~

@vFear Neato character, I'll look over them in a while~
Maybe they're wondering about prana costs, and how many times one can spam their NPs?

I feel like this is very much a common sense things, most of the time. It can get tricky when dealing with weirder Noble Phantasms, but for the most part, this should be something that players are able to work out for themselves.

In the event of a complication, or if somebody's simply unsure, I am completely willing to go over their prana usage more in-depth, but I don't think this is something I'll be detailing most of the time. (Although, I likely will be tracking the general usage of mana, to make sure people aren't being silly.)
@Black Alice
When it comes to PvP, always assume the worst out of people. While I assume that people will generally be chill with getting hit or whatever in this RP...I've also been in Fate RPs where it's literally DODGE DODGE DODGE DODGE NO ONE GETS HIT BECAUSE DODGE.

Personally, I believe that it's best if you either do something like add dice mechanics in this, or if you take control of results for both attacks and defends. In Fate RPs, it always feels like players have ridiculous egos, at least from my experience, so yeah...

Um, I'm not sure if I've not been clear through referring to it as the "usual" way of doing things, but I will be serving as a bit of a judge for all (most) combat in the RP. So, the "if you take control of results for both attacks and defends" part is kind of already a thing.

Is it not normal for GMs to moderate combat here?
If you're handling PvP in the usual fashion without any system in place, then it is doomed for failure.

How are you going to handle PvP?

I have to ask what you had in mind when you were referring to a "system". I have never really had any problems with normal, freeform PvP myself, but it seems from your inquiries that the Guild has some sort of history of janky PvP on the part of the players? Is this something I should be worried about?
How are you going to handle PvP? Because 99% of all Fate RPs die either because of PvP shenanigans or classic inactivity/lack of plot.

This is not something I've fully decided on, but for the time being, PvP will be handled in the usual fashion.

@SevenStormStyle Hi~! That sure is a cute girl you have there. I do have some concerns about it, as the GM, so I just have a few questions to ask. I've PMed you about it.
@Ashifili Love your character so far, looking forward to the finished product~
<Snipped quote by Black Alice>

Oh, sorry if I didn't explain that well! I wasn't trying to imply that it was a noble phantasm. Thank you, though. I just thought it better to clarify.

If it's not a Noble Phantasm, like, if it's just a generic weapon that they use, it doesn't need a name.
If my character's weapon is not named in legend, do I make one up or just leave it without a name?

The first thing you should consider if their weapon isn't named, is if it's even worthy of being a Noble Phantasm in the first place.

Oh, you can just make up a name if it is. I expect it to be well thought out, though, no "Raging Shadow Darkblade".
Practically everything's reserved!

I'll chop a master's slot.

Sounds wonderful~

Gosh, with this many people I suppose I'll have to be making one of those "OOC" things soon, won't I!

Wish me luck, folks. (After I enjoy a lengthy nap...)
