I'm in the process of moving so I'm currently a bit CrAzY at the second. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal reply schedule soon (after the move and the insanity of getting basic unpacking done)

Will watched the pirate. The banging on the door made his eyes glance slightly away before back to her. Confidence returned. She might try to kill him but she was had. There was no escape for her now. The barb about being a professional fighter didn't even phase him. He would survive but even if she shot him, she wouldn't be able to get away. He stayed where he was watching the trigger finger. Then, to his surprise, she showed a bit of sympathy. From a pirate? Had to have been faked. she lifted the barrel of her pistol up. However, before he could do anything a bottle was hit over her head. Will frowned confused for the second as he watched her fall, the half-drunk face of his master appearing behind her. The man grunted and tossed the bottle aside as the soldiers burst in.

"Well done, Sir." The Commodore said nodding to the man.

Will bit back his anger. The man hadn't done anything. If it hadn't been for Will, this pirate would have been gotten away long before now. He put the sword down as he watched the red coats pick up the pirate woman and start carting her away.

Norrington looked at Will. He gave him a slight nod and then exited as well.

"Will..." The half slurring of the head blacksmith caused him to look at the man. "Clean this mess up." The man gestured around himself. Will looked around. The place was a mess. The door was broken down. The scuffle of their fight had caused some issues. He shook his head. "But first, go down and get me some more ale. My supply is out."

Will bite it tongue. Turning he left without a word.

The pirate had been captured. Word spread like wildfire. Abigail's heart sank when she heard it. She should have known it would happen. There wasn't a lot of places in Port Royal that one could hide. Still, she had hoped. Talk of the woman's execution in the morning also sounded. Not being able to stomach it, Abigail excused herself from dinner, giving Elisabeth a smile, waving away any worries. "Just a long day."

Back in the safety of her room, she changed into a bit more traveling dress and snuck out her window. She and Elizabeth had long perfected the art of climbing down. Reaching the bottom, Abigail turned and was startled to see her cousin hadn't been as easily fooled as she had thought. "I want to see her." Abigail protested quietly, not wanting the guards to hear them.

"She kidnapped you. She held a knife to your throat." Elizabeth spoke quietly but firmly.

"She saved me." Abigail looked at her cousin.

"To hold you as hostage. It was her way out."

"Please, let me see her."

"You're going to let her escape." Elizabeth's face gave away what she thought of that idea.

It had crossed Abigail's mind. She didn't deny it knowing her cousin knew her too well. She couldn't get a lie past Elizabeth for anything. "They're going to hang her tomorrow. This is my only time to talk with her."

Elizabeth's countenance melted slightly. Her cousin was so young. So naive. Her heart was in the right place. "Alright, but I won't let you help her escape. Let's go. Just," she pointed a finger at her cousin. "So you can talk to her."
Will watched as the pirate woman sink to the ground. Her injury must have finally caught up to her. Part of him was suspicious but part of him - darn it - was concerned. He moved forward a bit. "We'll get you patched up at the prison," he said. The flash of her hand and the dust that flew at him temporarily blinded him. He stumbled backward cursing himself for feeling at all sorry for her. With his left hand he quickly wiped his face free. Blinking the last of the dirt out of his eyes he looked back at the pirate. No doubt she had already grabbed another weapon or used it to take off.

Instead, he found himself facing the barrel of her pistol. His jaw tightened as he glared back at her. Pistols were funny things. The accuracy of guns were not that great. They were powerful weapons but bullets didn't always hit there marks. But here, in this short distance the odds of her missing was very slim. He glared at her, his sword still in his hand. His mind came up with different scenarios. Maybe if he ducked down and hit her knocking her over, she'd miss. Maybe if he made a dash to the side, out of the way, she wouldn't hit him. But then, that meant she could escape. The weapon itself had one shot but that didn't mean she would use it until needed. Either way, it wasn't worth getting himself killed.

"Nice." His tone held no admiration. "You almost had me." He scoffed. "Just goes to prove you're just as cold, blackhearted as all other pirates. I bet your mother weeps over what you've become." Probably not the best to insult someone holding a gun to you but if she was going to kill him, she would. His eyes kept an eye on her trigger finger. As soon as she made the slightest move, he'd jump out of the way. He'll still probably get winged but he might have a chance. But moving to soon will not work at all.

Still, he would survive. He promised himself that. He would be there for Elizabeth and no pirate was going to change that.
Will scowled at her comment about a girl. He didn't need her to remind him that he and Elisabeth would never be. He swung hard, infuriated with her. She was good, he gave her that. Blow for blow, she held her own. He still believed he could take her but he did admit she knew what she was doing. "My personal affairs are none of your business." Will found himself almost on top of her. They were inches from each other, her hand on his shirt, her body almost pressing against his. It was intimate almost. Well, minus the crossed blades in front of them. Minus the fact she was a pirate. But he was well aware of her body.

He pushed her back, eyes ablaze. The fact she even was able to rile him, annoyed him. He stroke hard and fast. Pushing her back with the rage guiding the years of training. "You know nothing, pirate." Sparks flashed as his steel hit hers. She was good but strength wise he was superior. Skill wise - it could be arguable but he had enough to push her and her injury didn't work in her favor.

The fight, in a way was like a dance. Back and forth. Step here, step there. Up on the cart, of the cart. There were times he gave way, moving back but it was tactical. With one final swing he knocked the blade out of her hand. He grinned and pointed his sword at her. "Ready to surrender now?" He asked. His brow glistened with sweat, his shirt clinging to his frame.
Will kept at the pirate. True, he wasn't the type to hurt a woman. In fact, he would usually never even dream of it. And despite the fact the pirate was definitely a woman - she was also a pirate. That meant justice demands he brings her in. He pushed at her. She was good but then again he didn't expect less. For a female to be a pirate, they'd have to be above ordinary. Or else some man might take advantage of them. But Will wasn't too concerned. He was good. Years of practicing and learning everything he could had made him real good.

He parried with her as they went. His eyes picked up the slight sign she was injured. He used that to his advantage. He swung down getting the blade stuck in the wood. He pulled at it. Rolling his eyes he pulled another sword from the collection and glanced at the pirate. Will raised an eyebrow at her remark. "You don't really seem the dancing type," he said. He didn't lower his guard but he did decide to give her a fair offer. "How about you surrender and we'll see about getting your injury taken care off." He nodded to her thigh. Her outfit alone was a bit suggestive but he kept his mind on Elisabeth.

Now that was a real woman. Beautiful. Intelligent. Caring heart. A bit of a fiery spirit. She was the only girl for him. Though, it would never be. Keeping that out of mind, he kept his attention on the pirate. "I do warn you, I not only make swords but I practice three hours every day with them. I'm not your average blacksmith or even soldier. I'm far more skilled than that." And skill combined with the strength of working at a blacksmith made him very good.

Will wasn't the bulk looking type. He was wiry, though underneath his loose shirt was a strong pair of arms. He could easily take on men who were larger than due to his body build. But for those who didn't know him, he was deceptively stronger than he looked.
A smile played on Estella's lips at Rebeca's comment. So she wasn't the only one who knew how to take care of herself. And people - especially men - thought a woman couldn't protect herself. But then again, she had made the same judgement with Rebeca. It was nice though to see that the woman carried a knife. Of course, now that she saw it, Estella didn't know why she hadn't expected her too. The short time she had talked with Rebeca had shown that the woman was not your typical female. In fact, she was probably a lot less lady like in some ways than even Estella.

She raised an eyebrow at the only child. "Wow, in some ways I'm envious." She laughed. Her laugh was clear and light hearted. It came from her heart and made evident that she was one who enjoyed life and had no problems with joy. Which was interesting considering her own past. "But then again, I love my family." The smile faded almost as quickly as it came and she looked away into the night. The hurt returned but she pushed it down. She had learned how to cover pain and hide it easily.

Estella looked back at Rebeca. "I take it then you're a spoiled brat?" Again her smile returned showing she was just teasing. "I hear most single children get whatever they want." Her eyes danced with merriment as she looked at her new found friend. And that's what she considered Rebeca - friend. They hadn't known each other that long but already Estella liked the woman. She was refreshingly different than the people Estella was around and she wasn't the judgemental type like a lot of other females Estella met. Estella wasn't exactly the most 'feminine' when it came to her mannerism and attire. Oh she was very in some aspects but from a first glance, it was easy to dismiss her under several labels that most 'civilized' women would not want to associate themselves with. So the fact that Rebeca had no problems talking with her was something she enjoyed. Of course having been with Rebeca a bit, she knew that the woman probably received the same judgemental glares from the same women who glared at her.

Will eyed the pirate woman closely. He noticed the bandage and slight limp. Good. That meant she would be easier to take out. He narrowed his eyes at her. "Doubtful. I make it a point to avoid pirates. Or kill them if I do run across them." He retorted. He had never seen her before and after he turned her in, he doubtfully wouldn't again. She'd hang, assuming he was able to capture her alive. Woman or not, she was a pirate. And therefore she had to have some skill in a mainly male dominated career.

He watched her walk by. Frowning he drew his sword. "You're not going anywhere!" He declared taking a step toward her. His right hand held a sword of his own hand. He narrowed his eyes. "You'll find I'm more than capable of bringing you in." He kept his guard up. He had spent hours a day training to fight. He had learned everything he could - whether watching, asking, or just learning the hard way. He was more than confident that he could take her. "And the fact you are a woman doesn't bother me. I'll bring you in just the same. You're just as rotten than any other pirate."

He blocked her blow and parried back. A few exchanges like that and he could tell she was surprised a bit. Who would expect a smithy to actually know how to fight? He didn't reply at her comment on footwork, just fell in, keeping her in his sights. He parried again. "Yyou'll find I'm full of surprises." He told her confidently. "Though I don't expect you to just surrender, know that I will be taking you in - dead or alive."

There was a slight venom in his tone and eyes. Woman or not, she was a pirate. He couldn't fathom why she would want to be one but now it didn't matter. He despised pirates in any form. Part of him was thrilled that he actually had her here. She would be the first pirate he would fight and would be the first to feel his revenge. His family would have justice. He would see to that.

"I'm fine!" Abigail was getting a bit annoyed with the smothering. She pulled the cloak around her as Elizabeth and the Governor escorted her back inside the mansion. The wet clothes were now bringing a slight chill, despite the warmth of the day. They were escorted by a group of guards for protection though the commodore was out making sure that the pirate was caught. Abigail hoped Vivienne escaped. She couldn't bare to see her rescuer hung. And being who she was, she would undoubtedly have to be there at the proceedings. It wasn't something she'd enjoy.

Back in the safety of her room, she sighed annoyed as her cousin helped her change. "She wasn't going to hurt me." She dropped her wet clothes aside and quickly dressed into dry ones.

"You don't know that." Elisabeth was furious. She didn't take it out on her cousin but there was anger in her eyes at what the woman did. She loved her cousin but she also knew Abigail was a bit young and naive.

"Why save my life then?" Abigail countered.

"To use you as a bargaining tool." Elisabeth grabbed her younger cousin by the shoulders. "She's a pirate. And yes they are fascinating but they are dangerous. Come let's not speak of it anymore. I'm just glad you're safe."

Abigail let herself be pulled in a hug. She didn't continue the discussion at the moment but she would bring it up again at some point.
Will had gotten sidetracked. Mrs. Tucker's cart had gotten stuck. Being a gentleman, Will had stopped and helped her push the heavy cart out of the pothole and then to the market. Of course that entailed listening to her talk about her 'lovely' daughter and how she and Will would make a 'fine' couple. He had listened politely. He was not interested in the woman's daughter in any way. Oh she was nice - well minus the annoying habit of fawning over him every time he interacted with her. He wasn't sure if the mother had put her up to it or if she was just that interested. Either way, he had been glad she was not there today. That would have made it even longer.

Then of course, he got caught outside the bakery and spent some time talking there. Though, it was worth it as he had taken that moment to pick up some breakfast. Then of course there had been some commotion or other about some pirate woman threatening the niece of Governor Swan. He would have gone down to the harbor to see if he could help but he knew they'd turn him away. Shame really, he had trained to fight pirates. Not to mention, even though he would have done it anyway, helping out Abigail would in a way benefit Elisabeth. But alas, here was instead back at the blacksmith shop.

Entering, he frowned at the drunken heap of his master. "Right where I left you." He shook his head. The man was an idiot. If it wasn't for Will, he'd have starved to death by now. Will turned and saw the woman by the fireplace. She wasn't there before. Her attire immediately raised red flags. The still slightly glowing chains indicated she was the pirate. "You. You're the one they are all looking for." He said slowly taking a few steps forward.

Here was his chance. He could finally capture or kill a pirate. Will hated pirates. They had murdered his father. He didn't see it happen but they had taken the man away before sinking the ship they were on. The only reason Will had survived was because he had been hiding. The very fact he had somehow made it to land without drowning was a miracle. That was how he had met Elisabeth. She had been among those that had found him. They were so much younger than.

He frowned and pulled a sword from where it was hanging. He pointed it at the pirate. "You're going to come with me."
They made it back to the shop without issue. Rufus glanced up. "Ah, you found her." He smiled at Rebeca, his missing teeth a bit obvious. He turned and looked at Estella. "Did you get my food?" He inquired.

She smiled at him. "I did." She held it out but pulled back before he took it. "Probably should wash up if you are going to eat."

The man grumbled something under his breath about women and their finicky ways. But even as he turned away and headed to the back, it was apparent there was a fondness for Estella. He was back shortly and she let him take the food.

"I'm going to carry the part back to Rebeca's ship," Estella said not waiting to be asked. She wasn't going to let the other girl walk home alone in the dark. She could probably get away with it due to her clothing but Rebeca... Estella didn't know the girl but she was very pretty and even though her clothing wasn't the fanciest (far fancier than what Estella herself was wearing) it was still feminine and would catch someone's eye. The woman might be able to take care of herself but Estella didn't know. Besides, she had already agreed to take the part back and it would give her another look at the ship. Though she doubted she'd go inside it again. There was no way that mechanic would even let her near the fascinating engine. Oh well.

She picked up the part and looked at Rebeca. "Ready?" She asked.

Rufus frowned, a chicken wing in his hand. "I can escort you both."

Estella gave him a friendly smile. She lightly touched his arm. "We're good. No one will bother us." She brushed her shirt up just slightly to show the weapon tucked in her belt. "And if anyone tries they'll be a bit surprised. Besides," she nodded to his food. "You should eat."

Exiting she waited until they were a bit down the street before glancing at Rebeca. "He means well. But I had five brothers. Weapon or not, I can take care of myself." Her smile came easily and she seemed to have a light, carefree attitude almost. "You have any brothers or sisters?" She asked curious.

A real pirate. And a woman one at that. Wow. Abigail couldn't help feel a bit of excitement, her level of awe increased slightly. It was a shame there was a bunch of soldiers here and she was captive. She'd love to quiz the woman. How did she become a pirate? Why? Was it difficult being a female pirate? Wouldn't men want to take... She blushed slightly not being able to finish the thought.

She focused on the task at hand making sure everything was set. She gave a small smile before letting Vivienne turn her around. Her smile vanished but it wasn't replaced by fear. She fell forward as the woman pushed her at them. Going slightly overboard, purposely, Abigail crashed into Norrington getting in the way 'accidentally' so as to give Vivienne a bit more time.

The Commodore roughly handed her over to Elisabeth before turning his attention to the pirate. "Now will you shoot her?" The governor ordered annoyed.

"Fire!" Norrington ordered. The muskets blazed. Abigail's eyes widened slightly afraid to look. But she did. She breathed a sigh of relief seeing they missed their marks.

"Are you alright?" Elisabeth asked looking her cousin over. She was a bit annoyed at the woman for threatening her dear cousin.

"Yes, yes." Abigail said not really focusing on her but watching the woman get away. "She's a pirate." She said slightly breathless.

"And a dangerous one. You're lucky she didn't kill you." Her uncle came over and frowned down on her. "Come, let's get you back to the house. You're soaking and dressed inappropriately."

Abigail let them guide her though she looked in the direction of where the soldiers were ruining. She hoped they didn't catch the woman - Vivienne.
