Miki snapped her attention to what was going on, rolled her eyes at Kaname’s disappointed gleam. She stared back at him “can we help you Kaname? I’m sorry we had to find some way to keep entertained, your speech was going on for so long.” She said to him without skipping a beat. She glanced around the other students realizing that they weren’t alone, the breeze picked up again and she knew this time everyone felt it. She looked back at her new friend, she just took the fall for her because she can handle whatever Kaname has to say. She didn’t want Vada to see Kaname’s bad side, Miki has dealt with it before so it doesn’t phase her anymore. Miki gave her a smile and then looked at the other students, all of them gasped at what she said and other looked around the room to figure out where the breeze came from. Then she brought her attention back to Kaname who didn’t look happy at all. Kaname looked to the students “You all may go, Miki with me outside now.” He nodded to the students and to Vada and turned to walk outside. Miki look around at the other students leaving and looked at Vada “Don’t worry, I can handle myself, I’ll meet up with you after ok?” she smiled and followed Kaname outside.
She walks outside and see Kaname standing there, disappointed look and all. She folded her arms and leaned up against the wall. Kaname cleared his throat and walked over to her “Miki what are you doing here? Do your parents know you are here?” Miki rolled her eye “Why does it matter to you?” she pushed off the wall and walked over to the railing. Kaname followed her over “because I still care Miki, whether you believe me or not” Miki snapped at him, the wind really starting to pick up “You care? Really? So leaving me alone all those times after after…” Miki started to cry slightly, a slight stutter made out her lips “You think I don't believe you? I don’t, you feed from me and then you just leave… you're so predictable, you're just like everyone else they tried to set me up with, heartless. If you care so much then just leave me alone, I don’t need them and I definitely don’t need you” Miki turned to walk away and Kaname grabbed her arm. He pulled her into his arms to calm her down. Miki struggled in his grip “Let go Kaname” He looked down at her and kissed her forehead and let go. Miki stared him dead in the eyes and a blast of wind hit him in the chest nearly knocked him over before she ran to go inside. Miki walked up the stairs quickly. She didn’t care if she got in trouble, not like he could do much anyway. She made a dash for her room, maybe if she packed fast enough she can leave before anyone sees her. She thought about Vada and stopped in her tracks. She made a friend and Vada seemed to care for her. Miki shook her head, Vada might change her mind once everything comes out… Miki gets into her room and collapses onto the bed.
