Current For the same reason it was able to gather its power, I will not bow to it. Freedom is for everyone; not just the loudest voice.

If you can't support your argument...you don't have an argument.

Bio

I return from a long hiatus, in the hopes that roleplaying has once again returned to the art of inclusive storytelling. Prove me right and I will stay. Prove me wrong and I will go.

Hmm...don't know if I agree with all of that, but it seems more or less on-target.
Sam will find a nice, gently-used leather jacket for him. No worries. Might have a few stains on it, though.

"Here, put this on. If you look tough, nobody will screw with you."
I'm sure it could work out, if Christian approached her the right way. He seems particularly inoffensive, and being without eyesight would tend to tug at her heartstrings a bit. I hope he doesn't mind dumpster-diving.
Looks good! I have to say, I really like the glowy text. It's exactly how I pictured it.
Though they'd gone through the Reformers' 'super-secret' exit -and indeed, through a system of abandoned railway tunnels beyond it- Sam truthfully could not remember the experience. It seemed as though they'd just gotten settled into their seats on the van when she was forced back into the waking world by Daniel's greeting. She waited until the rest had made their exit instead of bothering to fight the flow of bodies. Once her feet hit the pavement, she allowed a discreet stretch of the back and shoulders; being squashed into the corner of a transport van had not helped her comfort level at all.

The city looked normal to her. While the others drew straws, or argued, or whatever method they used to determine who was stuck with whom, Sam marveled at the fact that all these people milled about, hopping from store to store, filling their bags or carts with whatever they could lay hands on, all completely oblivious to the Charlies' affliction. Of course they couldn't know, but the surreal moment of realization made Sam hate them even more than she had during her time with her parents. At least the hospital had made more sense; it didn't bother lying about how it viewed its property, like 'free' society did. She just stood there, glaring from under the rim of her gray hoodie, hoping at least one of them would do something unexpected. But they never did. Sam could almost see the chains around their necks.

Her scowl deepened as Daniel reminded them to stay in a group. For just the briefest of moments, Sam had allowed herself to believe she would have free run of the place. It didn't matter that she had no plan of any kind, or any specific acquisitions in mind. She just wanted to fly free, for the first time since she'd been sent away to the institution. She pondered the possibilities as her sullen gaze briefly touched on each of the Charlies and their chaperones. Who would be her shadow?

"If these people drag me into one of those preppie clothing shops, I am so out." she decided.
It is. This sort of thing doesn't happen every day, of course. ^_^
Good stuff. I just wanted to pop in and welcome the new members properly, and also to confirm that the Timeskip collab is scheduled for Tuesday. I will make myself available for any conversations that need to happen on Monday, so that we can get everyone up to speed. Anything I can answer, I will. Anything else I'll have to ask Kirra.

I would also like to add that, once this timeskip is over, and the group solidifies and begins their own exploration of the compound, the roleplay should pick back up again. There will be interactions, discussions, and plot aplenty. This, I think, would be the part of a television show where the "pilot" episode is reaching its conclusion.
Okay! We're nearing the end of the collaborative timeskip post, so anyone who has not had their say, please visit the post at https://unlikelyheroes.titanpad.com/6 and get your voice heard. We will conduct a final check before posting, and another announcement will be made before the post is put up, to make sure everyone has had a chance to reply.

If you do have a reply to make to this post, and what you contribute is something that another player can respond to, that's just fine. Do all the interaction you feel is necessary or warranted between characters. The final check will be to see if everyone is done interacting at that time, so no worries about leaving anything open-ended.

If we do find out that something was posted that never got a response, editing will still be possible, so don't worry too much. I'll be looking it over to make sure there are no plot gaps or unanswered questions.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, or via PM. I would avoid asking them directly in TitanPad, because it's a bit of a hard read in such a tiny window. I will do the best I can to answer any questions you have.
They really seem to care, here. I think it will be a perfectly acceptable limit to work by.
I don't know about 3x, Kirra. We posted quite a bit. I think we're fine, if that's the case.
