Oh that hurt.

OrangeInk said Yet in all honestly she wished none of it happened, because then she would have Riley back.
"Now, Ellie don't say that." Joel replied, knitting his eyebrows together giving her a sympathetic look. "What's done is done, let's just move on from it."

Joel fortunately managed to somehow suppress and bury the guilt that came with lying to Ellie. However now that she mentioned it though, he felt like a bag of bricks just dropped onto him. His eyes shifted from left to right, before he gave his cheek a good scratch. The sooner they get to Jackson, to safety, they will put it all behind them and it will be like nothing happened. He hoped at least. He knew the scar on Ellie's arm would be a constant reminder of her immunity and their journey to reach the fireflies to them. Especially to her. What he did at the hospital wasn't any different of what he did before, but it nagged him. A soft whisper in the back of his head. He took a couple steps backwards before gesturing for her to come along and turning on his heel to continue on. The sooner they get there, the sooner this will all be over. For now though, he had to quickly steer them away from the grim topic.

"Its actually kind of pretty, ain't it?" Joel repeated. "Why don't we take hikes too?"

He held a steady and slow pace, taking in the fresh air and gazing the beautiful scenery. It somewhat took him away from the awareness of the horrors out there. He missed it, he missed simpler times, he missed Sarah. Dwelling on subjects like these though, somehow wavers his will to continue fighting. However Ellie being introduced into his life gave it more meaning and it made him for selfish. He couldn't lose Ellie like he lost Sarah. With a small shake of his head, he quickly put things on lock down. Shoving grim thoughts into the overloaded vault in his head.

"Hey, when we get there what do you say about some dinner?" Joel asked, giving his tone a bit more cheer.
Definitely interested, I have played the full game as well and would love to play Joel.
We all posted! Can't wait for that floor plan.
Anna had already moved into the apartment, moving most of her well needed possessions as quick as possible. As a matter of fact, she was probably one of the first to move in. It was a nice change of scenery the place was large, tidy and well kept. Quiet too when absolutely nobody was around, so that was marvelous as well. With the hours she worked, hopefully it will be quiet most of the time.

For someone that lived in small homes and apartments, it was somewhat unnerving with so much space. The again she shouldn't have to worry if she's living with 7 other people to fill up most of the open space. She shook her head, and made all these trivial worries filter out of her mind and shooting out the ears. With a somewhat contented sigh, she sprawled her limbs out further on the carpeted floor of the apartment. Her hair did the same, messy waves of dark brown hair lounged out. The hot climate demanded she be in thin clothing, and she went along with its demands. Only with a thin sweater that still did no good, and baggy shorts that allowed ventilation. She should be catching up on her sleep, but no she lay there staring at the ceiling. Faint dark bags hanging from her eyes.

The phone on her chest laid face up, and if it could it would probably be in the same position she was in. Earphones sat inside her ear, faintly singing music to her. Her blinks were slow and exhausted, she was exhausted. Yet, she continued to procrastinate even her sleep. Speaking of procrastinating, she needed to finish her poem. With the music blaring in her ears, she couldn't hear the roar of a familiar engine.
Is it possible for someone to do a floor plan of the apartment?
Oh man, count me in!
Great!
Can't wait to start!!

Relation to Friends: A friend of Jason's

Bio:
Average family, average life. Anna was an only child born to two very outgoing and friendly parents in Alberta Canada. Ever since she was a kid, she was the quiet type. A introvert, keeping to herself mostly. Reading, writing and doing whatever else she could do alone. Her parents tried to pry her out of the little shell she created for herself, but it never really worked. So her childhood was quiet, and peaceful. They lived in a quieter part of town, away from the intimidating large city buildings and bustling streets. It made her fond of quiet environments. You could find her holed up in her room reading a book, or sitting on a weathered bench in a park staring longingly at the blue skies above. Then in her early teenage years her parents had this brilliant idea of moving to not so quiet America for mysterious reasons. She wasn't too keen about this, the heat and everything else. She heard all kinds of things about the land south of Canada and they weren't the best things. Being too submissive for her own good, she never really protested against their wishes. Her parents always wanted this, so she just went with it.

Her teenage years weren't the best, school hardened and smacked her around for being the silent introvert she was. So to adapt to the cruel environment she became a rather bitter and cold person. Spitting reluctant venom at anybody that decided to come near her, and that molded her into a terrible cynic. She only had a couple friends, and only one entered her personal life and actually got to know her. The long terms of isolation ignited a social anxiety. She'd avoid crowded places, social gatherings or anything in general that involved people. During those years she sparked an interest in paintball, the sciences and poetry. It was a steady time, on her weekends she'd invite her little group of friends for a paintball match or she would lay on her bed and surround herself with a pile of books and get lost in them. With her all these interests she had to come to conclusion of a career. She longed to be a poet, but of course it was unrealistic she needed a steady job.

One night her parents hosted a small party for her father's birthday and of course was forced to meet some of their friends. One woman really struck her though, she was a pale beauty and terrible outgoing. The complete opposite of what Anna was. They talked, well the lady spoke. She babbled on about her life and job. She gave Anna a small nudge on her arm and suggested to become a paramedic, which she was. She told her about the good pay, its benefits and how it relates to her interest in the science world. And it could possibly give her some inspiration for the poetry thing she had going on. After the party Anna thought about it long and hard, and came to the conclusion that she'll give it a go. It wasn't really her thing helping people and all, because of her cynical tendencies but seeing other people relieved and happy gave her some sort of joy. A little slice of whatever they were feeling. Cheesy? She knows. So she altered her education for that purpose, and continued on with her life.

Eventually her little happy family broke, her parents began to argue violently at each other for reasons unknown to her. Anna lost the remaining security she felt, and she shut herself out to her parents and practically everyone. Grades slowly began to deplete. Everything seemed bleak for a while. But luckily it didn't last long, her parents agreed quickly to a divorce and her father quickly handed custody over her and the house to her mother. He took his belongings and went without a single word, only offering apologetic eyes to his only daughter and a soft glare to his ex-wife. It hardened Anna further but with all this done and over with, she quickly put it behind her feeling it was useless to hold any grudges. Everything was somehow going steady again, her mother seemed more content and her schooling was going steady again. Her mother was a busy business woman that allowed them to be pretty well off. With average grades she got into the Paramedic Certificate Program with flying colors.

She ended up in Miami meeting Jason and being invited into his shenanigans.

Personality:
Reserved and still bitter, Anna takes some time get to know. She is terribly quiet, unresponsive and distracted most of the time. If you somehow manage to chip into her interior though, she can be a kind and trustworthy person. She will stay true to you, if you stay true to her. She is also terribly loyal if you play your cards right. With heavy reluctance she rarely ever admits that she can be submissive to those she holds close. Anna is a stone faced person, rarely animating her features. Play your cards right though, and you'll see more expression than you've ever seen before. Get on her bad side though, and expect a sarcastic asshole that will probably ignore you 90% of the time.
