I'm just waiting.
This looks incredibly interesting. Count me in!
Merat's blood continued to boil, or at least that was what he felt. He was not even sure he had blood, but rage filled him all the same. He turned, instinctively knowing the way north as if guided by a hand, in the direction of Traeton. "Rughoi is weak," he declared. "He will fall. I am Son of the Dragon." His captains, all giant horrors in their own right, cheered with guttural voices impossible with natural throats. "Rally," he said. "The gift goes to all kobold. We will destroy the Empire. We will destroy the Dracons. The world is kobold." Voices not of his captains shouted their support. Voices he could not find the source of, but he knew on some base animal level were as present as his captains.

"Excellent, Merat," encouraged a voice, or voices, it's difficult to tell with them. "You are taking the first steps to power, just as Master had done once. No, you will be better, won't you? You will succeed where he has failed. You are master now."

"Let us go," Krakas sighed. "The problem won't be solved by waiting."
So I hop on the official RP piratepad?
Me! Pick me!
Krakas slowly nodded, already dreading the reunion. Will her son welcome her? Will he condemn her? She knew what little Rughoi would do, but she was not sure about this Emperor of Kobold. "I will accept Arda's will," she said. She wished she could feel as confident as she sounded. Old bones and older sense of futility will not make this easy.
@Mokley@drewccapp I think the three of us are all that's left.

@XxLyraxX@UmbreonRogue@AluminumDude@Bornlucky@Oliver@LordofthePies You guys still here?
@Mokley With the large eating monsters, I'm starting to think my section was largely inspired by Little Nightmares. Which is nice, because I love Little Nightmares.
Krakas nodded. "Certainly. This is not my room to restrict my hosts from.

Rughoi looked on in pride, and gazed upwards to marvel at the job the kobolds managed to do on the walls. They had been effectively restored to their former glory, and the natural touch of Scen made the wall strong as ever. From his window, he could still see the cracks of damage, but his people worked day and night to fill those spaces in with concrete and brick. He went inside and lay down, mind aflame with thoughts. Should he deal with the escaped Merat? What about the mysterious force in the south? The dracons will worry about this, but what about his mother?
Riley barely caught the apron as it arced through the air at her head. She sullenly put it on. What could she do? She, however, didn't really understand what the apron meant. What was she even supposed to do? The questions were answered for her when a white object fell off the table and plopped onto the ground. Then, it came to life and scurried away on short, stumpy legs. It ran itself into a ridiculously scaled cup, and effortlessly vaulted over one of its sides, at least as large as it was. Riley forgot the screaming of the demanding hostess and went over to the cup. It was painted blue and yellow, and a large crack ran through it. Within sat the little creature, shivering from its near miss with death. Riley reached in to pet the little creature. It was odd, looking nothing like anything she'd seen in the normal world, but it looked frightened, and surely something as small as it can't be dangerous.
