Appearance: Umiko stands just short of 150 centimeters in height, and is of a slim, athletic build. During the summer, she'll often develop a tan. Her usual wardrobe consists of clothes that are light and easy to move in, as well as a good pair of sneakers.
Personality: Basically raised by her brothers, Umiko is something of a tomboy, but has a girly streak. She can be quite competitive, and enjoys sports. While not dumb, she has to work hard at academics to keep up. There's one thing that Umiko keeps to herself: she's an avid researcher of conspiracy theories, ranging from Unidentified Mysterious Animals, aliens, to government coverups.
Backstory: Born and raised on the shores of Lake Ikeda in Kyūshū, Umiko and her family moved to Tokyo in middle school. While she missed living in a small town, she was able to join a swim team at her school. For her 14th birthday, Umiko got her first computer, which led her down rabbit holes fueled by curiosity. Eventually, this led her to the rumors and conspiracy theories surrounding Digimon: Tamers' World, and she began playing the game to see if there was anything to them.

In 2024, the augmented reality game Digimon: Tamers' World was released worldwide and was an instant success. Players across the world got out and about to find, capture, and battle Digimon in their communities. However, rumors began spreading across the internet about odd phenomena related to the game happening: Digimon in-game behaving unusually; Digimon disappearing from users' accounts, only to reappear some time later; however, the most unusual were stories about Digimon appearing in the real world. Many dismissed them as bugs, rumors, hoaxes, or lies. However, there are others looking even deeper into the strange phenomena...
