Drek took a position next to Sky, axe slung over his shoulder. He watched the squabbling between the Clover and Sarrai'a as they vied for the lead of the pack, a smile plastered across his face.

"They sure are eager."
"Well at least it's not rats. I once knew a poor gentleman with a very serious rat problem."

Drek's expression twists slightly for a moment into a distant look of fear and disgust then returns to normal as he steps towards the path carved out by the destruction.

"I'm sure we can handle whatever beast is causing this mess easy. We are a guild after all."
Drek, stunned by the sudden appearance of this horned man, stands motionless for a good while before leaning in with a warm handshake.

"Drekven Emmerich, a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Drek takes a moment to take in his surroundings. He wandered over to a tree that had been snapped in half and ran his finger along the tear, inspecting the shredded and splintered wood. He stands there for a moment, deep in thought, before turning back to the group.

"I think that there's rats around here somewhere. We should all be cautious."
Drek also steps onto the bridge, then turns to Sky and offers her a hand.
"I'm sorry clover, I didn't mean for that to be so violent. The magic on that one get away from me."
"Allow me."

Drek approached a tree of appropriate size near the riverbed. Sizing up the trunk, he made a rough mark in it with his axe to mark his swing. He readied his axe and a surge of pulsating purple energy began to infuse the blade. He takes a mighty hack, and a rip of energy bursts forth from the blade when it contacts the tree's bark, violently blasting through the trunk and sending a cloud of debris flying back into Drek's face. The tree totters on what's left of its stump, before falling forward with a little guidance from Drek and making a slightly splintery bridge across the river.
Well we should be on our merry way then. We won't be compensated very well if we never show up to help the fellow will we?"
Drek grins widely at Clover's response.

"I don't know Lilith she seems pretty gutsy to me. Not bad spirit for a kid."
Drek approaches the small girl, a smug smirk smeared across his face.

"I don't know, it could be dangerous for children. Bears or wolves or even worse... RATS! You think you're tough enough to handle that little one?"

As he waits for the nymph's response he stands between Sky and Sarrai'a.

"I'm sure she's bundled up for a very good reason, there is a bit of an chilly breeze. Why don't we leave it at that for now?"

He shoots Sky a sly wink.
