Also updated Appearance and Jotunblut's descriptions for more clarity and information in the OP :3

You made a typo in the Appearance thing. Tone yourself *done* if necessary.
Name: Lucky
Age: 26
Race: Caucasian
Sex: Male
Appearance: Lucky's most noticeable thing when you meet him is just how perfectly average he looks. He's about 5'6", has brownish hair, brownish eyes, and he's white, but not extremely so. He's pretty thin, and seems healthy, but he isn't bony nor a muscle man. His usual attire is rather varied, maybe to make up for his lack of any natural features. He wears glasses occasionally, though he doesn't need them. He has a multitude of shirts and shorts, though normally settles on a simple tight-fitting shirt and a pair of jeans. His shoes are usually a pair of plain trainers.
Homeland: United States
History: Lucky was born in Utah, to an extremely functional alcoholic mother and no father.
When he was born, the doctor had apparently gone off to grab some papers to sign, and promptly forgot about Lucky, leaving the new mother and child to wait out for a few hours before the doctor checked his schedule for what he was meant to be doing.
Being as normal as he was, he passed through his years smoothly, with no positive or negative attention falling on him, apart from the occasional raised hand from his mother when she had taken a few too many sips from the bottle. He largely ignored it, since it was pretty half-hearted. She just didn't have the energy since his father left. She said life was just boring without him. No matter how much she daydreamed about his father, she never said anything about him, apart from "I think he looked a bit like you."
While his mother was violent occasionally, it wasn't the majority of the time, and they had a solid relationship. When the welfare checks came in, and a pack of beer had been purchased, Lucky's mom would show him how to play some tricks on people. How to win at poker and blackjack with less than reputable means. Amazing audiences with magic tricks, stealing their money right under their noses. Often, Lucky didn't even need to be sneaky. People almost wanted him to take their money. And through all of that, once he was done, no one could describe him apart from what he was wearing.
Once he had finished school, Lucky was ready for the world, in the eyes of his father. He went over to the US, played in as many casinos as possible, earning as much as possible. He was kicked out a few, but once he was done with Salt Lake, he moved right on to Vegas. He wasn't counting cards or anything like that. He just smiled at the dealer and the other players, and left them wondering how they had lost so much, so quickly. In a way, Lucky also wondered how he was so good at tricking people. Until he met a pair of ravens who proceeded to give him some clue as to why he could trick people so well.

Can you possibly guess which of the Æsir I'm going for here?

Anyway, this looks pretty damn fun. Can't wait!

Edited: Still not going Jotunblut since how the hell can I be perfectly average when I'm ten feet tall?
Still got some room? I'm going to read through the OOC up to this point, but is there anything I should know apart from the OP?

Character on the way.
I'm interested.

If you set up with pre-epidemic professions, we need to find some good skills to transfer post-apoc. I mean, while a doctor might know about the insides of a person, they might still need the tools a hospital provided them, so they just become what amounts to a field medic. No one is getting chemo in the wastes.
Whatcha mean if this lives? I'm waiting for all the new folks to post.

It means that you would be controlling them. Sort of like how your control your own nation, but slightly less involved. Like... Deciding their actions on a global stage, and internal stage, but only when others mention them. For instance, if China wanted to attack Japan, I would PM the NPC-controller of Japan and let them know and they'd tell me how Japan would react and we'd discuss the outcome, but the controller wouldn't directly write from Japan's perspective.

I see. I'm still not going to go for it, since I have some stuff to do with Russia that would give me an unfair advantage.

Took Boss's format, easier to read, easier to write, easier to manage.

Sweet! My work is of some value!
By NPC controller, what do you mean? I guess it isn't using the neutral army towards my own (the US)'s benefit.
That'll probably work. Can't wait to see it!
Makes sense. My Feb 2015 can be withdrawed, then, until we find out what problems we'll have.
Come on guys! Do I have to run this thread myself? Alfhedil, post something! You too, Warty and Wernher!
