PffffffffffffffffftYou complain, but I'm loving it. This is the best I've felt on the forum in a while! Mythology RP that looks like it's actually going places! Yippee!

Aww, we love you too Elendra.

Quality / Quantity is interchangeable. Sometimes, they both need to be held equal. I would've chosen a different group split, heh, to keep the guys from bantering the long ride there. But considering my speech worked, it's all bound to be friendly banter. Also, Soraya and Eshna might not like the idea of rolling around in a stolen vehicle, heheh. I see your choice making sense now, I digress. We should probably wait for a few other posts, yeah. Maybe keep dialogue between ourselves on the ride there in one post per person, or maybe collab the exchanged dialogue in the rides and save it to one person to post so theres less posts clogging up between the inevitable battle.

Yep. So Gavriil is taking whoever he chose, I've got a witty remark to make once I make my post, and then I'll take my group and we'll see if we can find a dealership. If not steal.

I can only imagine the rousing speeches given by Jacob to the rest of the demigods in order to keep(At least Gavriil) from strangling rather annoying people on public transportation. Three hours of people having screaming matches over the phone is the real apocalypse they have to fight.

Eh, no public transportation for us. So you've got your car, we can all drive up there, assume it takes a few hours, maybe.

Also, I better let some other people post before I do again, so I can have a bit more material to post. Quality > quantity.
Here's the invocation.

O Muse, sing in me,

of the heroes, long gone now,

starting from the first of

many obstacles they shall pass:

the bus stop, a wily opponent,

deceiving the heroes with false time-tables,

and uncomfortable benches.

O Muse, sing of their battles,

googling when the hell the next bus comes,

and offering up hekatombs to the gods

for their victory over the beast.

The many heroes with many names,

from Jacob, the leader of men,

to Lucky, the roller of dice.

I shall sing of their prowess,

the fights against the bus stop,

and their glorious power over it,

with the assistance of Odin,

3G connection, and google.

I think she was referring to the weapons and artifacts. Us as well, possibly. Not so much now, since we probably didn't get very much taller even with Baldur's presence. Maybe a few inches, who knows :pYou know, I was starting to like the idea of a 25 page satirical article detailing 3 hours of 7 demigods trying to catch a bus.

Okay, _that_ I can make longer. Give me half an hour.

EDIT: Of course, it will be in the style of Homeric poetry. Let me figure out hexameter.

They're no longer covered in illusions, everyone who sees them will see what they are unless you otherwise disguise them or somesuch.

Are you talking about us? Or something else?
Ah. Well, Larceny is one of my top Purviews, I believe, and Dexterity is a secondary for me. So possibly not. Let me check.

EDIT: I mean trainings. But still. I know how to do it. IC is up, I really don't know what else I can add in there. I'll have to leave more time in between my posts for later.
Lucky listened to Jacob's rather inspiring speech. This guy is a pretty good talker, he thought to himself, listening. A good leader. Of course, he had some divine help, but hey, they all did. Just in different places. Once Jacob finished, Lucky felt himself nodding his head. Why not, Lucky thought. I think I can work with everyone for a while, until I figure out how to use the holes in my hand to my advantage.

Lucky looked at Jacob, grinned, and shook his hand. "Alright. Let's do it." Lucky pulled out a pair of keys from his pocket. "So I've got my own car, but it's a four seater, so there are going to have to be two groups. Gavriil, I'll ask you to drive my car. Be very careful with it, thanks. I'll take the second group and we'll see if there's a dealership anywhere around here. If not, then we'll just have to pick one off the streets."

"So, Gavriil, you pick three of us to go with you. I'll take the rest. We'll meet up in Bodie, see what's happening, and annihilate whatever seems big and angry."

Lucky got a text message back from his mother. Checking it, he frowned, and put the phone back in his pocket. "So let's get to it."

El doesn't believe in the Kiddy Stuff that is the Mist. That said, holding up a bus is a good idea to get cops running unless we can spin the thing to "We're cops, we need your bus, police business."

So I'm about to make an IC figuring that out. I'll just say that Gavriil is gonna drive *my* car, and I'll hotwire a car. I'm not sure Gavriil can do that, or at least not as well as me.
Alright, so let me catch up with IC. Got off the plane yesterday, slept, now I'm here.

Yes, I can hotwire a car if necessary. But considering I got to this place in my own, that shouldn't be necessary. But it's only four seats. Unless you all scrunch up, we'll need two groups.
