Thanks for the compliment @Zero Hex, and @Lmpkio don't beat yourself up too much over this. I think both of you were trying to do the same thing (get your character to do something with another PC to make your own character actions not seem filler-y), it just so happened this time things clashed a little. You can probably still have Vader choke out Jasper later, that'll be neat.
@Lmpkio @Zero Hex I feel like he wants us to change both of our posts. Hang on

i ded et. Seriously though, apologizes for rushing that movement, I'm still a bit rusty at this.
listen

don't worry about it @lmpkio
If you need a visual reference for what Jasper's trying to do to Isei @Zero Hex, Sonic's down throw in Smash.

"Alright, but don't say we didn't warn you..." The head Koopa said mysteriously as he too jumped into the water, joining the other members of his guard in swimming across the river. As Harvey and Haruki stepped in, the would start feeling a series of bumps at their feet, something the Troopas didn't feel thanks to retreating into their shells for the duration of the swim. Still, it didn't seem too bad...Until whatever had been bumping started biting. A glance down into the clear water would see the Cheap Cheaps that Haruki had been capturing earlier, though of a different color than the traditional red. These were blue, and smaller than the regular Cheap Cheaps, but the size didn't really matter so much since one of them had decided to clamp itself around Haruki's ankle. And more were coming.

Dee T. was able to catch most of what Sir Eglamour said. Enough to know that he was willing to help anyway, which took a humongous weight off of her shoulders. She vocalized this by sighing in relief, eyes shining with gratitude as she shifted Dane T. around on her shoulders a little. She knew she'd have to get him down into the underground fast and get him to the medical wing, so as much as she would've liked to lead Sir Eglamour to where he was going herself...Well, it was for the best probably. Thankful as she was, she wasn't necessarily keen on riding horseback again for a while.

"Your brodmaster is there," she said, pointing towards the cobblestone castle in the distance, for once thankful for the roof in the ceiling so she could point it out easily "I beg of you though, allow me to find some reinforcements for you. I have several friends who could help you, but if you must go now I won't stop you." True, she did think Sir Eglamour could break through the armies of Lord Bowser, but...She didn't want him to end up like the Toads they had sent there before had. She dared not even think about it for any longer than she had to. Still, no matter his response, she gave him a respectful nod and started to crawl down the chasm, her unconscious brother still riding piggy back.

Morton's hide may have been able to withstand the explosion, but that didn't mean his grip was quite as tough. He was only able to make out Samus as the pilot, his mind briefly noting to compliment her on her narcism to design such a powerful ship after her head if he got the chance to later, before getting tossed off the ship. For a few moments, he hurtled to the ground below, doing a few flips in the process. Samus had managed to lose him over the forest, so it was likely when Morton started hitting trees that things would rapidly become unpleasant...

Not that Morton was worried of course. Putting away his hammer, Morton took his ruby red wand back up and quickly summoned a duplicate of the Koopa Clown Car that he had sacrificed to deal damage to Samus' starship. He watched as it continued its downward descent before following it. Morton wasn't exactly a tech savvy genius like Ludwig. Hell, other than Larry and Iggy, he was probably the dullest of the eight Koopa Kid. And that was on his good days. Still, he knew a boon to the army when he saw one. Exactly how he was going to do it he wasn't sure of yet, but Morton was determined to get that ship back to the castle. Even if he had to do so piece by piece. That in mind, he started flying after her again, staying low now. He'd strike when it crashed.

Kieri rolled the name around in her head for a moment, mostly so she wouldn't forget it later. She had a funny feeling that could be very, very bad. Ainz Ooal Gown...Certainly not a Median name, probably not an Angelic one or even a Demonic one. Which begged the question-what was he? This was a question for later however. She had started the introduction, she had to fulfill her end of it. 'Not that anyone would care of course.' Kieri winced. That voice again. She pushed it aside for now and spoke.

"I am K-Kieri Suizahn, unranked Angel s-soldier in t-training. Pleased to know y-you." She said shakily, not only still a little put off by Ainz's appearance, mannerisms, and now his power, but doing her best not to flip back to her Angelic tongue out of force of habit. She gave her wings another twitch. Getting better. She'd be in the skies again soon, and then she would be useful again. If one could call what she did useful, that was.

York's watched Roland snipe Paratroopa after Paratroopa out of their with relative ease, a pang of jealousy stabbing him briefly in the stomach. He briefly noted to ask about how he shot that well as most of the ground and air soldiers, what was left of them anyway, started retreating. The ones that weren't fast enough though...Well, with those, York's plan had worked like clockwork. Baiting them over to Ken had given the once sickly looking boy a nice meal of Turtle Soup with Mushroom slices, a meal York had no taste for but then he didn't judge. It'd have to be something truly disgusting for York to question someone's eating habits. Still, he made sure to keep his distance all the same, knowing by observation that even the tail was a nightmare to behold. Soon, the only sign that there had been an army here once was the corpses. And even then he was pretty sure that Ken would eat those.

That is, he was, until he saw Ken charging off in an odd direction. York watched him go, rubbing his chin contemplatively. "Hmm...Something we'll have to investigate later Zach. For now, we attend to the citizens." He paused briefly at his new companion Minz, shrugging at his question. "Once we find out who summoned it in the first place, we can ask them. Now then, let's see about any citizens that stuck around." York suggested before walking off towards the place where Jasper had been brutalizing the Toads before the true enemy had shown up. They would probably need some medical attention.

Jasper stared blankly at Isei as he ranted and raved. Was this human really trying to lecture her? She scoffed at his assertion that she was weak, gritting her teeth a bit at the 'call for superiors line'. "If the Diamonds responded to every cry for help a Gem had, they'd never get any true work done. No, if I come up against a stronger opponent, I don't call for help. If they shatter me, they'll merely take whatever data they can extract from my defeat and make another soldier for the job." She finished, still snarling but explaining it as if it were basic math. To her, it was-humans were a more rebellious species, but Gems took pride in their lack of individuality. No one was irreplaceable, save for the Diamonds. Those didn't need to be, they had only lost one in the past seven millennia.

Jasper tensed at this memory, a series of blue splotches starting to form on her arm for a moment before she cast them away. Her Diamond was gone. She had long accepted that. It drove her. It would not send her back into corruption.

She watched as Isei dispatched what was left of the Goombas and Koopas in town with a single punch, her eyebrow quirking slightly. It was impressive by human standards, but there was no destruction. A destroyed enemy was one who would not return to cause trouble later. Even a weak enemy could become a nightmare if you let them retreat. This motivation almost made her chase after the retreating Koopas and Goombas, but Isei stood in her path again before she could.

She stared down at Isei cooly, but her fiery eyes betrayed her true emotions. The more he spoke, the more angered she became. The subject behind his speech was one she was most familiar with. "That," she started, seething a little "is talk of Rebellion. I should've figured I would run into it again, all these humans running around. White Diamond should've destroyed your planet when she had the chance...I'm not so lenient." She finished, grabbing Isei by the neck and slamming him down into the ground below. What would happen next would be standard procedure-go into the quartz ball, grind him to dust on the ground below her. Jasper though felt that she should be particularly sadistic towards this human who dared spoke up to her. She wanted him to know her power. So she held him place for a bit, continually applying pressure to his neck
Yaaaaayyyyyyy. It's worth the wait too @Lmpkio
Morton knew he would have to work fast for this. His fleet was disintegrating around him, with only his flagship still flying and limping back to the stronghold of the castle, and his foot soldiers weren't doing much better. Whatever mercenaries these Toads had hired (and he assumed they were mercenaries), they were something else. Freakishly strong, nearly every single one of them. He would probably take care of them personally down the line, but for now this came first.

Morton also knew that Ludvig was probably going to give him hell over losing as many ships as he did on a simple bombing run. Bringing back something that had singlehandedly destroyed one of his ships though...Well, that would certainly make up for it. The Koopaling pursued Samus' gunship, giving the black hole a wide berth as he closed in on it. The chase was going to push his clown car to the limit, but his mind was made up now. He wanted his new battleships to be as good as that one, and as boring as it was, Morton knew he'd had to capture it in one piece to do it.

Morton reached into the confines of his clown car, clutching his ruby red wand. He wished he had opted for a color like brown or grey instead, but he couldn't deny the tool's effective nature. Giving his car a few gentle taps with the wand, Morton was able to not only keep up, but catch up with Samus' ship. What needed to happen next involved Morton's biggest positive-brute strength.

Samus would only have moments to react before she saw Morton fly over her on her radar. She'd have less time to react when she heard a thunk noise on her ship's roof, followed by the unmistakeable noise of an explosion. Morton had ejected himself from the clown car, activating it's self destruct mechanism as he popped out. He shielded his eyes as the explosion occurred, his tough Koopa hide preventing the explosion or resulting shrapnel from doing any true damage. He was able to hold on to the ship with only one hand, his obsidian black hammer clenched in the other. Crawling up the ship, he swung his hammer at the green visor of it. Morton could see one of two possibilities for this-either he'd smash the glass and yank whoever was piloting this thing out of its own ship and send them hurtling to the ground, or the explosion already knocked out the glass and his hammer would knock out the pilot. Still, he supposed he could be surprised, but there wasn't any turning back now.

Dee T. gasped in surprise as Sir Eglamour pulled her and Dane T. up on to his horse, finding her short stubby legs just a bit too narrow to be able to fit on to it so easily as he did. Still, she made the best of it, gripping on to her brother with one hand and gripping the saddle with the other. Several Koopas and Goombas had closed in, but before they could attack Sir Eglamour had hopped on to his steed and started heading off.

What happened during that short ride to the shop dispelled any doubt in Dee T.'s mind that Sir Eglamour could help them. As he charged towards the shop, any Koopa who tried to undercut his horse ended up getting kicked away for their trouble, bouncing about like a hockey puck for a few minutes before stopping to get taken out for one reason or another. The ride seemed to happen in slow motion to her, and she was pretty sure she didn't blink once during it. She didn't want to miss a single moment.

Soon, they reached the shop, at which point Dee T. grabbed on to Dane T. and dismounted, albeit rather clumsily. Assuming that Sir Eglamour would follow her inside, she rushed inside the slightly broken down shop, what was left of its wares strewn about messily and several portions of the roof looking as if they threatened to collapse. Dee T. didn't particularly care about that though. What she was looking for was on the floor after all.

"Where...Here!" She shouted gleefully as she found a few planks of wood that looked off from the straight pattern the rest was set in. Rather, it looked more like an octagon. She pressed two hidden switches on the ground with her feet, and what sounded like a pair of suction cups coming apart filled the air. Setting her brother down, Dee T. crouched down and grabbed a small crease in the floor, lifting up. Soon, the octagon was pushed away, revealing a hidden tunnel in the ground with a ladder leading downwards. She panted a bit from the effort, going to pick her brother back up before pausing, turning back to Sir Eglamour.

"Thank you again," She said kindly, clearing her throat awkwardly "if it weren't for you, I'm sure my brother and I would be dead by now. But...I'm afraid I must ask you for more. What you saw out there is merely a portion of a massive army that threatens me, this town, everyone I care about...And we need help. The hero who we once turned to has vanished, and although you have only arrived today, I can see no other hero amongst us besides you. Will you help us?"

@Blight Bug
Took my sweet time today, sorry. School's being a pain, and seasonal allergies are being even worse. Business should be picking up again now that the weekend is pretty much here though (hopefully)
When Sir Eglamour first appeared, Dee T. thought she was looking at a monster. Nothing that size could be anything but, not helped at all by the fact that he rode horseback, making him look even larger. She wasn't sure what she should be fearing more-the incoming troops of Bowser's army, or the leviathan on horseback who rode towards her postion.

She got her answer rather soon. "What the-?!" Was all one Goomba had time to say before Eglamour's lance jabs sent him spiraling out of control, crashing into some nearby rubble. He was the most talkative of the bunch, and soon they were dispatched in short order. Dee T. still eyed her savior with caution, though it did drop somewhat upon hearing his voice. It was, despite the outdated language and the intensity of the situation, smooth as butter.

Knowing she hadn't the time to process her savior any further, she merely accepted his help in removing the rubble from her brother Dane T.'s unconscious form, hiking him up on her back as she glanced around. The town still crawled with Goombas and Koopas, though the number had clearly been whittled down. Even if some of what was left was bearing down on them. For a moment, Dee T. thought. 'This guy...Maybe this guy could help us.' She thought hopefully. While other Toads seemed to be fleeing to the forest for safety, Dee T.'s eyes darted about and settled upon the local shop, which outside of a hole in the roof looked just fine.

"There!" She said, pointing at the shop and trying to make sure her brother didn't fall on to the cobblestone ground below at the same time "Take me there, please! I can only give you my sincerest gratitude in return, but if you cannot take me...Thank you for what you've already done."

As Harvey conversed with Haruki, the guard surrounding them came back to the lake Haruki had been fishing at not long before. Several of the Koopas slipped into the water, shells up, and waited. The head Koopa turned back to his 'guests', briefly wondering if this would work with someone as big as Haruki.

"So...I'm sure you probably know this by now fisherman, but the fish in this lake aren't exactly friendly," he explained rubbing the back of his head "for your own safety, we're gonna need you to ride on our backs, alright?" The lake was more long than wide, but it still looked to be a good fifty to sixty good feet from shore to shore.

Jasper had easily recovered by the time Isei had jumped behind her, and while her frustration was mounting with this strange little man, the Goombas were making their rounds again. She felt like venting some stress. Helmet shining in the sun, she reared back and started squashing the brown mushroom esque creatures into a fine paste, sometimes headbutting them more than was absolutely necessary (i.e. once), but damn did it feel good to let loose like that. She looked over her shoulder at Isei, the smirk that had adorned her face fading as she realized the human wasn't even paying attention. She turned her attention to what he saw and...

Jasper blinked a few times. Maybe this was Blue Diamond's way of bringing her back to Homeworld. She couldn't think of anything other than a Diamond that could produce that kind of power, and she watched in awe as the enemy ships were crushed in mid air, only one escaping with noticeable wounds. She tensed at Isei's question, whirling around and snarling.

"Are you dense? Of course not," Jasper answered honestly "only a Diamond is capable of that kind of power. If a quartz soldier like me got a hold of that kind of power, it'd bring chaos and rebellion to Homeworld." 'Again' Jasper kept that last part to herself. If this human really was unaware of the glory that was Homeworld, she didn't particularly feel like giving out a history lesson to him. That was that traitorous Peridot's job anyway.

@Zero Hex
I can see that. Jr. feels like the type who wouldn't make a move unless success is assured. If only he had some strong friends...Some strong, inter dimensional friends...
