Despite this he can be critical at times. He hates wasting time and not having a plan, this makes it hard to work with people. |Place of Origin|Crescent Island
|History|Zhuang Fa Guowei was raised by the sages of Crescent Island. Not much is know about his parents and the fire sages say that he was left at their door step. Due to lack of bending ability the sages instead raised and trained him as a normal monk. In his younger more adolescent years he learned about the body and how it works, he learned how to use a sword and throwing knives. He also learned about chi and how it flows throughout the body and life. When Zhuang turned 13 he left the temple to go on a pilgrimage to a temple in the north of the Fire Nation Capitol. While there he took up many different jobs as a mercenary, hunting down benders and non-benders alike, gain experience in the way of life.
At the age of 15 is when he met hiss father. He was supposed to be protecting some clients staying at an inn and while sitting in the lobby a man roamed with a covered face and a sword. The man wasted no time in drawing his blade and attacking Zhuang, so they fought. The cut, slashed, and stabbed each other until there was only one of them left, Zhuang. The man did not account for Zhuangs hand-to-hand combat and pressure point attacks to actually turn the tides but they did. Zhuang walked away with two bad wounds and a sword and letter in had back to the temple were the sages fixed him up.
The letter was addressed to Zhuang from his father, simply stating that he needed to test his metal and see if his son was worthy of taking on the family tradition of making swords. The letter taught him how to make and take care of a perfect sword. Zhuang was out raged, all his 'father' had left him was some lessons and no apology. He proceeded down a dark road the next two years of his life. Armed with his two swords and combat skills he traveled across the world looking for work, and finding it where ever he could. For the right price he was your man, no job was to intimidating and morality meant nothing to him.
It was not until the age of 18 that he came up for air from his life of corruption. He went back to the Fire Nation Capitol, he wanted to forgive his father for what happened. So he read the rest of the letter and it said that their fight was a tradition and he would need to do the same to his son when he had one. With that in mind he continued work as a mercenary with a more positive outlook and now uses the square blade left to him by his dad.
