EDIT

@Everyone: LoR 2 post over weekend.
Derpestein said
*waits for introduction of my character that will never happen and if it does only last five words before I get killed.*Otherwise you have delivered op. Mmmm spamfic.

It will happen. Now shhhh, patience. I have a lot of names to cross out.
Raen Elvarasi said Geez. Your furries are real assholes about everything, Kad.

Raen Elvarasi said Kestrel, you have such a lovely nack for stating the obvious. Please, tell me, how do you do it?

Raen Elvarasi said I know how much everyone loves to rip out someones heart and pin it to the wall over a misunderstanding...or maybe it is just me.

Raen Elvarasi said Rayn, this is quite possibly the most sane conversation I have been involved in in this OOC. Everything is fine. >.> *Reminisces* It's okay, Kad, I still love you.

(Context: Implying that people who disagree with you are insane after you repeatedly insult them.)

Raen Elvarasi said Rayn, you are a dumbass

Raen Elvarasi said They are trained soldiers, and can probably accomadate your cow-brain tactics.

Raen Elvarasi said Calling you a dumbass is another way of saying you misunderstood what I said.

Implying that people who don't agree with you simply don't understand. Implying that it's okay to call people dumbasses to dismiss their points.

Raen Elvarasi said so cut me a break. Fucks sake.

Implying that people questioning your judgement is a personal attack on you. Implying that IC commentary towards your character is an attack on you OOCly.

Raen Elvarasi said And stop taking this shit seriously. A debate is all fun.

Not when you make personal attacks on people's characters. (Otherwise known as ad hominem.)

Raen Elvarasi said This conversation has gone on for a few days, and nobody has started biting....Maybe a little bit of nibbling, but hey, what do you want from me?

To listen to me when I told you, weeks ago, to cut this out, so I don't have to constantly babysit you and your flagrantly disrespectful behaviour? Everyone else is able to manage. You're the only troublemaker here, and everyone told you so, even people who normally keep quiet.

Raen Elvarasi said Kiku, I think me being silly isn't veiling anything.

... You do realize Kiku is a character in The Last Bastion, and LimeyPanda is not Kiku, right?

Raen Elvarasi said In this case, unless it is genuinely a problem, or crosses a line, I could care less....And by crossing a line, I mean a personal one. Social Norms can go fuck themselves.

I don't tend to follow social norms either. Basic human decency isn't a social norm, it's part of being an adult. Also, crossing personal lines... Hmm... Like... Calling people dumbasses for not agreeing with you?

Raen Elvarasi said And just to say this again, for the sake of repetition, my "Insults" are not meant as offensive attacks. Just me poking people light heartedly....

They're offensive and you know they are, and this is a really shitty way of feigning innocence. If you really can't see that these are hugely offensive statements to be making towards people for simply disagreeing with you, then you've the mental development of a mentally retarded twelve year old with an especially bad case of Aspergers. Either way, it's entirely unacceptable, I've told you as such, you've ignored that apparently.

Raen Elvarasi said Just as someone might poke a hibernating bear, or attempt to cuddle with a Panther.

... So your light hearted poking is akin to attacking predatorial animals that will maul you? Well, okay. That's pretty apt I suppose.

Raen Elvarasi said No! Don't let the flower lady ruin the fun debate we were having! >:O

...What? This is completely inane gibberish, I can't make heads or tails of it.

Raen Elvarasi said I sleep erratically, and end up crashing for 20 hours straight after not sleeping for a long time. So I am used to it.

Obviously not if you think that being "used to it" means having to use it as an excuse to your behaviour every single time someone calls you out on making personal attacks against people. Which is nearly every time you open your mouth.

Raen Elvarasi said I, probably more than most people, tend to zone out of reality, and forget what I am doing, saying, and even feeling.

Then you aren't fit to join a role play featuring complex, adult concepts like grey world morality, no win scenarios, politics, and so forth.

Also implying that your issues should somehow exempt you from judgement. I'm mentally unstable, so is Tempest, so do at least three others here whose names I won't list for the sake of their anonymity. We're adults, we take responsibility for ourselves. When we're having issues we do the mature thing and walk away before we cause problems, or struggle through it just long enough to post IC, then walk away from the OOC. For instance, the only reason this entire fight was allowed to happen was because I was getting a lack of sleep, so I knew I wouldn't be in the right mood to deal with fighting. I also wanted to see if you would listen to my earlier warnings to cut it out and drop arguments. You didn't.

Raen Elvarasi said In saying that, I am not attempting to excuse anything, or say anything other than this: If I do something that bothers you, then say it.

In doing so, you've raged at people, and sent a PM with threats at Hellis. (More on that later.)

Raen Elvarasi said I might seem immature, annoying, bothersome, and in a lot of ways, a pain in the ass.

Because, objectively speaking, you are. You snap at people who don't agree with your tactics. You snap at people who tell you to calm down, then turn around and tell people to just tell you when you're doing something wrong. You did this for two days straight.

Raen Elvarasi said Give me a reason to care, and I will.

This comment caused me to open a PM voting poll with everyone about whether or not to keep you. That public executions comment I made earlier. The vote was nearly unanimous for removing you. Two people even commented to me about potentially reporting you to moderation.

Oh, and you must think me quite the fool to not know that you've been harassing Hellis in private when he told you to stop harassing people...

Raen Elvarasi said Not by some angry, entitled comment in thee OOC, just to get the last word in, and being a fucking asshole.

Raen Elvarasi said Once again, take a look at my previous posts, and stop being a fucking child

Raen Elvarasi said you are pissing me off, due to the fact that you are so much of a fucking bawbag

Raen Elvarasi said And because I am not doing so with a straight face, you are so much of a cock-fuck, that you decide to fuck with me about it, IT WILL turn into a disturbance if you do it again in the OOC

You threatened someone with public argumentation/humiliation if they continued to ask you in public to calm down.

Raen Elvarasi said You might notice why I respond so well to Brovo. He usually says something along the line of "Shut up and play nice" when things get heated. Not "Your an asshole.". If only I had his aptitude to give a fuck when it comes to resolving situations.

No. We both know why you respond "so well" to me, and to Tempest, who isn't nearly so patient with you. It's because we're figures of authority in this role play and you're a sycophantic loser who sends hate mail to people in PM's for no more reason than to preserve your easily bruised ego. You are a pathetic little shrew with a sincerely misplaced sense of entitlement if you think I would stand by and let you harass and threaten other players in private.

Raen Elvarasi said First: understand a metaphor, as they are a common literary device.

Raen Elvarasi said So please, stop with the "I'm tough" bullshit,

Raen Elvarasi said Third, I cuss to emphasize. You might realize it exists for a reason, and many adults, including myself use it.

Raen Elvarasi said And if you really think what you did was giving me a reason, you must be so fucking naive, that I am not sure if I should pity you, or laugh.

Raen Elvarasi said I generally think highly of other RPers,

Bullshit.

Raen Elvarasi said If you REALLY didn't expect me to get pissed, then you are a fucking idiot.

Lets refer back just a few hours ago...

Raen Elvarasi said In saying that, I am not attempting to excuse anything, or say anything other than this: If I do something that bothers you, then say it.

You're a hypocrite on top of being a sycophant. Lovely.

Raen Elvarasi said Fuck you. Stop being a bitch about everything I say

And we're done. Phew. You know, I was going to come up with this extremely long rant about how I tried to help you, gave you plenty of warnings and patience, and so on, but I realize something... You aren't going to listen. You didn't listen to me when I told you in private not to continue this behaviour, you didn't listen when I gave you a public warning, you didn't listen when I had to repeat this warning, and every attempt I've made to try and show you that your behaviour is disruptive has only been retorted with by excuses. You are, in every respect, a mewling infant, who drools on his keyboard, writes mary sues the likes of which are straight painful to read, who uses derogatory insults towards other people, who uses threats in private conversations when things don't go their way in public, who attempts to suck up to authority figures, who ran to Tempest babbling apologies to her instead of the people he insulted...

You are, in every respect, an incessant man child throwing temper tantrums to such degrees and so often that I have no choice but to remove you. I double checked the votes. It's not near unanimous, it is entirely unanimous, everyone here wants you gone. I don't blame them.

Get the fuck out of my role plays. Get the fuck out of Legend of Renalta, get the fuck out of The Last Bastion. Nobody threatens and degrades my players and gets away with that, especially after I gave them ample chances to rectify their behaviour.

Oh, and take your arguing and childish antics elsewhere, "Lupus." Nobody's gonna care about your howling at the moon here. If you don't leave, I'll simply call moderation to wipe your posts and remove you by force if necessary. When everyone, including myself (the GM of the thread) wants you gone, don't even think for a second that you can try to force otherwise.

@Everyone: Now that we've commissar'd a player out, I'll be cleaning up the Imperium mission and the Amazon missions.
--IC post delayed to Friday.
--Amazon section delayed for a bit. It's going to get a dedicated kick in the pants to fix it, I obviously fucked up the pacing there bad enough that it's giving everybody a bit of a stumble trying to work it out. Regardless of posts, I'll be forcefully resetting the pacing to give the Amazon mission a clear goal to pursue and places to go next week.

I know. I'm infamous for this shit, but life gets in the way of my sweet, sweet Internet affairs.

Anyway, y'all seemed to like the idea of violence. Here, have some violence. The comedy will return in the next scene, this is moving shit along though.

SCENE 5 TEASER
-Mayor Badger goes to the private dinner/public ball. Shenanigans ensue involving the Moth Boss.
-Smiral & Co decide to crash a party. Nobody gets away with thieving a thief.
-The Return of Joroceros and Zed... Or is it?
-More character introductions, including Police Brutality.
-1-2 scenes away from a finalé. Maybe three. (Finalé sequences usually involve at least two or more guaranteed perma-deaths. Just ask my role players, they tend to look at the word with fear at this point.)

So it seems three factions are evolving out now where I had originally intended for just two. We'll see how this goes in terms of body count later.
Raen Elvarasi said Give me a reason to care, and I will.

That LoR can and has ordered public executions by hand of god, via public vote/petition. Simply: If everyone else can't stand you, regardless of how I feel personally, I will murder your character. Brutally. And tell you to go away. Preferable forever.

Also being a decent human being n shit. You know.
@Holmishire: Please update your CS with your new info. I went to reference it and it's all of the old shit that isn't relevant anymore.

@Kadaeux: I'm uncertain what you meant with Brucey's positioning. Sorry if it is incorrect.

@Raen: You went to a building on the left, where the main road is clearly a "kill box", and the L3 spotter is clearly visible.

... ? ? ?

@Alphakoka: I've moved your character for you once because it's integral to the overall plan Kadaeux had in mind that the majority are following. Please post on time, or you know the consequences.

@Jorick: You also missed this round, but due to the nature of your deployment, you didn't get placed anywhere.

Shadow Zone
"Vipers don't run... They coil... Then they strike." -Roman Cassidy, Page 2. ((Maps.))
Retrieval Team

As Georgia sleuth-fully moved about inside the mansion she would begin to hear the sounds of thunder outside the mansion. The rain had begun to pour from the clouds above, its somewhat acidic nature not seemingly present enough to cause the telltale hissing sound. Looking about inside she would see several burned out lights, the interior of the mansion was naturally dark and the hall she moved down appeared to contain, in order of closest to furthest: A janitor's closet, a security room, and double doors leading somewhere likely important. The doorknobs on the double doors had long since been stolen, as they were likely made out of shiny materials that some fool would mistake for gold. Taking a whiff of the air, the scent of stale air and wet wood would reach her nostrils. This mansion was slowly rotting away, it likely didn't have much life left in it judging by the way the floorboards beneath her feet groaned in protest of her fairly light weight equipment.

Nearby, she felt something pulling at her. It compelled her to close her eyes. Doing so, she would feel from the direction of the stairway a powerful psychic presence, and somehow, it felt... Peaceful. Without any hint of malevolence. It was located somewhere downstairs. Through the double doors however she could hear the sounds of laughter and people talking to each other, she could swear one even whispered her name...

Roman on the other hand would find the slanted mansion roof slowly becoming slippery as the rain began to lightly patter away on it. Judging by the darkness of the clouds, it would pick up in pace very soon. Looking around from his position, he could see eastward. In the distance he could hear gunfire and smoke was slowly starting to rise only a couple miles away from the east. His radio crackles to life. "Gangbangers attacking eastern sector! They're under control for now!... Why are they even here?!" The signal ends. This situation was becoming stranger by the minute: Shadow Zone, U-ARM, and now Gangbangers.

Meanwhile, both Paris' drone and Eira's drone would alert them that they would not perform well in the rain and prolonged exposure would begin to damage sensors. Paris' drone was inside a building, scanning it, and was thus safe from the rain. Eira's drone however was exposed to the elements, and produced a false reading of something moving into the mansion... Or was it false? Eira would notice her drone reported, for only half a second, a humanoid form entering the mansion's rear entrance, but it wasn't able to discern its bio signature, or confirm it, before it disappeared.

Paris' drone quickly confirmed the building across from them was clear of life, save for a single pot plant that had long since overgrown its confines, and was moving to investigate the next building unless otherwise ordered.

Overhead they could hear a helicopter come in flying at a low altitude, hovering a couple hundred feet above Eira and Paris was Captain Derek's chopper. They could tell because it had a woman made of fire spray painted on its side, and he had pointed that out to them several times while they were in the transport chopper. He radios them. "If I had to reckon a guess, some gangbangers will probably slip through the east. They were designed to hold off heavy assault waves, not the quick raider tactics that gangbangers are infamous for. I'll keep a lookout unless called elsewhere." Visible in the cockpit he salutes the both of them, then flies eastward until Roman could see him hovering a few feet away from the mansion's roof, to the eastern side. Switching to a private channel, he contacts Roman and Georgia only. "I heard rumours Alyss was gonna be here. If she is, and we weren't informed, assume she will shoot you if you get in her way." He grimaces visible in his cockpit as Roman could see. "N' I'd hate 'fer you youngin's to bite it to that fishy cunt."
U-ARM Wing - West

As Junko takes a position on the upper floor and NPC's begin to comply with James' orders, she would see a fourteen year old boy with loose fitting light combat gear hide beside her with an ammo carton in his lap and a pair of binoculars in his hands. "I've heard of you! Junko, right?" He asks curiously. "You made a shot clean through a wall and saved Alyss' life right?" It seemed that Junko had won herself a fan from her previous mission. One that would do as she told him to.

James would find that constructing another suitcase bomb would take him a little more time than he anticipated, as while the resources were pretty significant in the corner store they were more meant for the turrets and for mechs, not for jerryrigged big bombs. Needless to say though, there was enough supplies to get the job done, and as he finished he'd overhear on the radio a warning sound from one of the lookouts. "Cloaked enemies nearby! Power signatures detected, one tank and two suits of power armour!"

Marvin, meanwhile, gets a quick response from Marvin over the radio as she turns it back on and takes a position near him and across from Daniels. "Why not?" She chuckles as she crouches down low, keeping her body pressed up against the wall of the suburban house as she takes aim around the corner. "Damn." She mutters quietly, hiding back behind cover as the tank emerged with its two power armoured escorts. Looking across the street she motions for Daniel and Marvin's attention. Using hand signs, she directs Marvin to take aim at the tank while Daniel moves around. There was no telling if their radio frequency had been cracked. Their radios come to life once more, confirming that they had indeed been cracked as Colonel Richard speaks once again, though with a more annoyed tone. "Disrespecting an opponent is no way for a military officer to behave!" Marie Black grabs the radio and replies back. "Coming from the terrorists who happily kill civilians, I find your facade of honour tiring, and your words empty." There was a growl on the other side of the radio before the transmission cut off.

Morai's voice then comes through the radio channels for the entire squad. "Op zone eight and twelve rigged." It was code. Marie points out the two buildings that were mined. "Don't enter those structures!" She yells, rather than using the radio. A few seconds later, Morai's voice then comes on the radio again. "Rifleman squad spotted. Will wait to ambush." A listening post quickly confirms the location as they try, desperately, to search for cloaked signatures, to no avail.

It seemed that favour was with them in granting first strike against their assailants, as the tank stopped to prepare its main gun. The sergeant was likely commanding them as well as a sort of order relay officer, taking him out might slow down enemy operations.
Shadow Zone Wing - North

Carolyn seems to quirk an eyebrow of curiosity at Brucey's 'god of fire', though adds no comment of her own as she and Abimael listen to his plan. Agreeing to it as most others did, they took their respective positions. Brucey's attempt to radio Michael only returned static.

Carolyn then opens her cockpit and drops Ditz out, allowing Ditz to scramble to its feet and wag its robotic tail before wordlessly following her commands to go to the back and monitor any attempts for enemies to slip past. As Ditz takes its position, it looks up at Kai, who was attempting to blend in with the sloped, cover-less roof of a suburban house, and barks at him a couple times playfully before sitting down and staring diligently around at any potential ways to get past him.

It seemed awfully silent for about a minute as sounds of distant gunfire begin to echo through to their mission area, reminding them that there were several squads like them attempting to hold the line. Abimael slips past Brucey to look around at the debris ridden area. Had a bomb gone off here a long time ago? One couldn't be certain, though the cover was sure nice to have, for enemies and allies alike. It was also likely difficult for a mech to navigate. Then, the ground shakes beneath his feet as Abimael looks dead on north, towards the main road. "The Gates..." He murmurs with fear. "I... Vaguely remember... Tight, disgusting tubes... Smelled horrible... Endless tunnels that forced you on... Screams."

Back out on the main road, a large, fleshy slab of what could only be described as 'organic material' burst out from underneath the concrete. It almost looked like a tree, and ceased moving after gaining several feet in height and width through the concrete. Creatures then start forming out of its surface and leaping out onto the road, shadow wolves, running towards them as the machine gun nests behind Carolyn and Liam open fire. Liam, naturally, ducks to allow a clean line of fire. Bullets spray across the road and two shadow wolves go down as Carolyn takes aim with her precision laser and splices a third one in two with a shot. These shadow wolves were not as strong as the ones they had faced in the fog.

With the sounds of fighting starting out on the main road, Abimael was distracted. It was at this point that a shadow wolf leaped out at him from behind cover and tackled him, however, Abimael grabbed the wolf by its neck and glared at it angrily. After a moment of hesitation, his free hand punches cleanly into the shadow wolf, and with a twist inside along with snapping the wolf's neck in one clean motion, the wolf twitches, then melts into orange goop on the ground. Abimael frowns, clearly upset as more wolves burst out of cover and start moving for the Ignis Dei.

Meanwhile, Matthew and Kiku, being clever enough to take cover, spot two shadow wolves attempting to sneak down the alley they were guarding. They hadn't spotted Matthew and Kiku, giving them all the opportunity they needed to have a first strike. As the shadow wolves appear, the L2 spotter quietly grabs his equipment and slips inside an open window, keeping low enough to the ground at that point that the wolves couldn't see him, though from the look on his face, both Matthew and Kiku could guess that they'd be able to smell him if they got close enough.
