As Ryzin finishes talking with the old man, he proceeds to thank him for the help and notions Totodile to follow him outside. Upon exiting the university Ryzin says to Totodile, "hey you know maybe we should try a little training while were here, maybe pay a visit to the pokemon center while were at it?", Totodile looks at him giving a little flex and smiles, "alright lets go buddy".

They walk around for a bit finally discovering the pokemon center, upon which they notice a small park out the back, "hey Totodile lets go in there and do some training".
As they enter the park they walk to the back looking around making sure no one is going to interrupt."Ok Totodile, lets start with some water gun on that rock there, come on lets see what you got".Totodile puffs up taking a deep breath and lets out a few water guns, with decent power. "Nice work Totodile!, now lets try and change targets, lets say first the rock, then those two trees, then the rock again, then we will try some rapid fire sets aye, but remember to watch your aim...its important!".Totodile gives a cheeky salute and gets to work.

A couple hours pass and they decide to take a break. "Nice work today Totodile I think your gonna be a bit of a sharpshooter soon, if you didn't miss here and there, but hey its called training for a reason". Totodile gives a cold stare, "oh come on buddy you know i'm joking, by the way I noticed when we were walking around a few people had nicknames for there pokemon, I was wondering if you wanted one?". Totodile looks over at him with a happy smile, eyes wide and nods, "alright lets see here, what would be a fitting name for you. OOOOHHH! I got it, my mum used to tell me stories about this river goddess, what was she called again, Ohh thats right Dea Marica, so lets say we call you Dm, what do you think?", Totodile stands, looks Ryzin in the eyes and strikes her super hero pose smiling with pride,"i'm just going to take that as a yes then".

With all that settled they wonder into the pokemon center, rest up for a few hours and let Nurse Joy check over Dm.

Ryzin and Totodile began their long journey, eventually getting on a train that will take them to Chromis, seeing many many things along the way that astounded them both, the biggest thing was coming into Chromis. Immediately they noticed the massive differences in pokemon species, terrain, and technology which they both had never seen. Amazed and a little frightened at the prospect of the unknown they reach their destination.

Upon exiting the train Ryzin crouched down to Totodile and said, "Look buddy I know you love to battle and defend me but I get the feeling like for now we should keep a low profile, I don't think attacking everyone will do us much good ok, so let's just chill out and learn what we can about our new surroundings before we get rowdy." Totodile looks at him changing her expression to a yeah fine I guess so and extends a fist, with a fist bump they both agree and carry on walking through this massive city taking in all the new things they've never seen before.

"So many people in one place is a bit overwhelming aye Totodile", Totodile looking up at him with a look of slight fear at the crowds and nods, "Don't worry buddy as long as we can figure out what to do from here, we will be ok."Then suddenly .... BAM!!!, Ryzin walked straight into a pole, Totodile immediately started to crack up laughing at him rolling on the floor and pointing, "OOOWWWWWWWWW!, holy crap that hurt, Totodile you could have warned me", Totodile looks up at him and just points at the pole, "Wow just wow, yes it's a bit late but there's a pole there, thank you Totodile, oh wait look it says Amalgam University we should go have a look inside, come on lets go".

Then in they went, upon entering they just stared around at the building which they have not seen the likes of before, a good five minutes of looking around before someone approached them."You are definitely new here aren't you I can tell, let me guess, never even been to chromis before right?, well hi i'm Hermad, i'm one of the locals around here, I just try to help out young trainers like yourself feel welcome here". Totodile looks at him not seeing an old man before, she walks around him taking a good look and giggles, "Totodile don't be rude, hello i'm Ryzin and I come from johto, i'm new to the whole pokemon trainer thing there's so much new technology and stuff here, I don't really know much of anything", "Well then Ryzin have a seat I will run you through a few things".

Personality: Somewhat timid towards humans but loves pokemon to a fault, always willing to go the extra mile for any pokemon, Has a serious disliking for pokemon abuse in any regard. Often quiet and in thought, Very serious about all aspects of pokemon health/battling/breeding.

Biography:
Ryzin got lost on a safari adventure with his family in johto at the age of 13, after walking around for some time he lost hope of being found, he came across a lone Totodile, they were looking at each other from across the river, Totodile took interest the child, approached him and began looking upon the child closely, sensing the distress and fear in the child decided to take him through an elaborate jungle path to the swamp, A secret clearing opened up and there he tried to integrate him into his family of Totodile, Croconaw and Feraligatr, Plus others like Seismitoad, Bibarel, Woopers and Mudkip, occasionally seeing the odd Dratini and other rarer pokemon. There he decided to live for 4 years after abandoning hope of being found, working with his new family raising eggs, helping out and learning the society of swamp and forest pokemon.

After all this time had past his friend Totodile had evolved into Feraligatr and became chief of the group of wild pokemon, found a mate and had a egg of his own, with this Feraligatrs daughter became quite attached to Ryzin following him everywhere, going out with him exploring the harsh type of terrain they lived in, On odd occasions she would battle some other pokemon who approached Ryzin, due to a sense of protection she felt him, Ryzin also wondered if its because he is such close friends with her father, upon seeing this Ryzin notices she actually enjoys the fights shes in.

Then one day Ryzin happened upon a Growlithe in the forest, Totodiles confusion yet again of approaching pokemon to Ryzin was taken as a threat, Totodile attacked growlithe and a short battle ensued, Officer Jenny suddenly emerged out of the scrubs, burst through and called out to Growlithe, Ryzin yelling for Tododile, then both pokemon suddenly stopped the battle looking at there trainers, the shock on Jenny's face after seeing Ryzin instantly recognizing who he was, this child who's been missing for so long informed him of what happened to his parents, how the loss of there son drove them to leave everything behind, With the pain of constant reminders of there son they left Johto and found a new beginning in a place called Chromis.

Ryzin refilled with the hope of reconnecting with his parents ran back to the village in the swamp, he came home and told everyone he had to go and find his parents, Feraligatr considering the situation nodded in approval and pointed at his daughter wanting Ryzin to take his daughter with him as a traveling companion, and to reassure him he always has a place to return to with his daughter, should he want to. Ryzin then says his goodbyes and sets out for Chromis with Totodile beginning his journey.
