Personality/History: Charlie was the girl who grew up, able to get everything and anything she wanted, having come from such a well-known and successful family. However... Charlie was
not for that. Despite the seeming elegance of her family, she was... more of her own thing. With a passion for technology and a surprisingly high IQ, she tended to drift from the high-class standards she was meant to convey and instead found herself far more interested in creating things and discovering how things worked. Much to the chagrin of her mother and pleasure of her father.
She was never good with other girls her age and tended to feel more comfortable around boys who tended to have similar interests to she. However, at the age of 8, her mother finally put her foot down and proceeded to separate Charlie from other children and kept her inside until she could 'learn to be a proper young lady'. Charlie took it in stride and instead dedicated even
more of her time to learning about tech and instead grew even closer to her twin brother and farther away from her younger sister who, at the time, was already rapidly becoming the 'precious daughter' her mother had always wanted.
Soon enough, Charlie started to grow into herself more and her mother was horrified to discover a brass, sarcastic, confident, and blunt character who has literally no filter between her brain and her mouth. This was developed thanks to her spending much of her life on ships with her father and his crew, overhearing their way of speaking and growing into it herself. All the while, her father remained proud of her and her brother felt lucky to have her as his twin. On the other hand, her mother grew tired of her 'antics' and her younger sister became more and more of the soft spoken, mindless drone that her mother wanted to turn Charlie into.
And it was when Charlie grew even older and started becoming an actual woman, both in looks and in age, that her mother began pressuring her into going into med school like her brother and finding a successful husband. (Part of it stemmed also from an accident she got into at 14 that had her mother worried about her potential marriage aspects.) At this point, Charlie began to really despise her mother and the pressures that her last name forced upon her. But, she managed to evade her mother's talons with promises of 'doing it when she gets older' and that she'd 'gladly find a powerful man if it made her mother happy'. But, by the time she was 21, her mother's patience had already been worn down and she, without telling Charlie, met with a close family friend (That also happened to be of old and powerful blood.) and promised Charlie's hand to the family's oldest son, William Winchester.
And Charlie only found out when, on the night of another social party at the estate, William showed up in her garage (Father gifted her with her own private garage where she could work for her 20th birthday.), wanting to meet his future wife. Let's just say that the interaction didn't go over so well and Charlie and her mother ended up having a huge falling out, her mother screaming that Charlie 'Either had to learn to appreciate everything she's done for her or she'd might as well leave'. So, that night, Charlie packed her things and cut her waist-length hair (A kind of calling card to her high-profile status.) short before fleeing in one of the old cargo ships her father had set aside to be used as parts, leaving only a note to her brother and father in her wake.
The rest? Well, the rest is history to be told.
