It's Fine But...

I just think it's funny how
all the people I used to know
that'd say things like
"I wish I lived in
more interesting times"
are awfully fucking quiet now.

@Dynamo Frokane Age has been added, 25 is correct.

@Lmpkio It's quite possible that they knew of each other. The Balthazars were/are a somewhat high profile group in the Northern Frontier (with the exception of Hawthorne, who's mostly managed to get away from the spotlight).

If you intended for Alexandar to be an enlisted man, the rank of Sergeant First Class might be suitable, giving the number of years he's served and his capabilities (That's the next step from Staff Sergeant).

If you intended for him to be an officer, a Major or Lieutenant Colonel would be more likely, I'd wager. It takes about 20+ years of service to become a Colonel, typically.

Either way, it's entirely possible that Hawthorne and his mother fought alongside or served under Alexandar, and he may have been the one to promote Hawthorne to Sergeant and Staff Sergeant, depending on if you choose to be an officer or not (This is war my military knowledge gets a bit fuzzy, but I'd say it's plausible). How Alexandar feels about the man Hawthorne is and was however, is all up to you.

Taken from the U.S. Army's official website (army.mil).

"CAPTAIN (CPT)
(Addressed as "Captain")
Commands and controls company-sized units (62 to 190 Soldiers), together with a principal NCO assistant. Instructs skills at service schools and The United States Army combat training centers and is often a Staff Officer at the battalion level."

Food for thought.
@FallenTrinity You're only allowed one character, so unless you literally mean it's for fun alone, I'd save yourself the effort. :p
@FallenTrinity Not directed at me, but I'm gonna say I highly doubt it, unless you two are planning some sort of deadly rivalry dynamic between your characters.
Technical difficulties going on, this a test.

Rejoice, we passed.
@Dynamo Frokane How are mechs transported and whatnot? Would they be stored somewhere or should I expect them to be running rampant like cars and bicycles?
@Dynamo Frokane Is there any context as to why we're here in the Fortune Region? Or any limitations on the kind of character we can make?
I'm gonna definitely make a character for this, are we all meant to make MK2 mechs?
