A Fire Emblem Fates Based RP Anyone?

I know it was left fairly ambiguous, but what social status should our characters have?
It would be interesting to be part of the Hoshido/Nohr royal line or aristocracy(?), but I could see us as the children of middle-class merchants too.

Any preferences?

So far your description roughly aligns with what I had in mind as well.

I was thinking of making the little sister a prodigy, but one that lacked self-awareness and found it hard to believe she was one.
If her older brother is well-accomplished, then she might grow up in his shadow and believe that hypercompetence is the norm rather than the exception, even if her own capabilities could outstrip her brother's.
Maybe she admires him as well? A kind of hero worship? Which could also lead her into underestimating herself.

The matter of class is still up-in-the-air, but I was thinking of Tomes and Swords or Tomes and Knives/Shuriken/Whatev.

I'm writing an intro piece for it right now. It may not be used in the end, but I was doing it so I could re-familiarize myself with the campaign setting information presented in our old thread here

To start with, I'm expecting my character to be a Tome or Staff user.

Well... I have a ton of questions to start off with:
What kind of sibling relationship do you envision our characters sharing?
In particular, I guess I'm asking what disposition do you think they would have towards one another?
Or is it a bit too early to ask, given that our characters haven't been properly fleshed out yet?

Aside from a few hours in the morning, I'm mostly free tomorrow as well. Although, I'm supposed to have dinner with my folks later in the evening.

Sundays are pretty lax at work, so I should be able to contribute some on during the weekend.

I'm more partial to Sibling 2 or 4.

If I were to play as Sibling 4, my character would probably be a younger female. As Sibling 2, I'm undecided. Gender identity is usually the last thing I worry about during character creation.
Honestly, I may flip a coin for my final decision. xD

If you can accommodate one more, I'd be interested in a FE-themed romp through a war-torn playground.
School is almost over for me, so I'll be able to post freely in a few weeks. =o
Until then I may be a little slow; although, I could still probably do 1 per week.

I'm drafting the outline for my novel right now. It's a little tedious sometimes which has nothing to with my tendency to excessively edit everything on-the-fly, so I work on it in small chunks to preserve my sanity. :|

As much as I like brainstorming, I agree with you. We've been stuck in development for awhile. xD
And while I have nothing against Dragon Age, the world-hopping fantasy adventure appeals to me a lot more at the moment.

Once I finish these next few tests (Mon-Wed), I should have a brief respite before finals. So maybe Wednesday night or Thursday, I could contribute to it. I remember we were in the character creation stages.... Although, I'll probably scrap my old character in favor of a new one.
