Penelope gave a small chuckle as he was quick to return her playful banter. "We'll see about that." she mused with a roll of her eyes. Despite her teasing words, she knew the former thief was usually pretty capable of getting up early when he needed to. Albeit he usually had someone to wake him up on time and she supposed that's where Preston would come in as his attendant. She rolled her shoulders and moved to follow his lead, standing up from the table.
She leaned in to meet his lips as he leaned down towards her. As he winked at her, the knight smirked at his competitive words, finding them amusing. "Just don't be sour it's the other way around." she jibed in return. "Good night, Crow." Penelope gave him a soft smile before turning and beginning to make her way to her own room for the night. Once she reached her quarters, she wasted no time in settling down for the night, eager to get some sleep and trying to ignore her lingering concerns about ending the war.

Despite her worries, she fell asleep fast and slept soundly through the night. Once morning came, Penelope woke up as early as she had hoped to. However, that didn't make her feel any less groggy as she sat up and rubbed her eyes in an attempt to shake off her lingering sleepiness. Rising to her feet, the knight got ready for the day ahead, fixing her appearance slightly and then putting on her armor. After breakfast, she wanted to be able to grab her supplies and head straight to get her horse since the last thing she wanted was to run late.
After strapping her sword back to her side, she headed out of her room and to the Great Hall for a quick bite to eat before they had to go.
