Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Penelope mirrored Crow's smirk as he responded to her. The knight rolled her eyes teasingly as he pointed out the success of his stubbornness when it came to getting food. "I guess there are some perks to annoying people into giving you what you want. I can't deny it's effective, I know what it's like to be on the receiving end." she joked giving an exaggerated shudder. As he held out the piece of bread to her, the knight hesitated before accepting it from him. While normally she may have been able to get by until lunch, the lack of sleep had drained a good portion of her energy and getting a bite to eat would surely help with that.

"I'm touched that you're willing to share with me. I know how much food means to you." Penelope said with mock seriousness as she brought up her bread-filled hand to her heart in another exaggerated gesture. Her expression quickly cracked into a smirk. "But thank you. I was afraid I would have to wait until we stopped before I could eat." she said in a more genuine tone before she took a bite from the bread he had given her. Having something to focus on now, the knight found it a little more easier to fight off her remaining weariness from the night before.

Chewing thoughtfully, her gaze flickered briefly over their surroundings. Now a little more awake she was able to focus more on the task at hand, which included her own worries about the group being attacked. The knight shifted a bit in her saddle and glanced over towards Crow besides her. "Crow," she began in a low voice, trying to keep the others nearby from eavesdropping. Luckily with Naida too groggy to try and butt in on the conversation, the knight felt they might be able to speak a little more privately. Especially since Otto was wrapped up in a conversation with his son and Percy didn't seem to particularly be paying attention to them.

"Are you still planning to tell them about the mercenaries at some point?" she asked, her voice a whisper. She met his gaze searchingly. She knew he had some hesitations about addressing what he had possibly seen and that she had advised against telling them the direct truth, but she still felt it was important to give the rest of the group a word of warning. Once she left the group, the only one who'd be even remotely ready for such an attack would be Crow.
Sorry I haven’t replied! I’m getting trained for a new spot at my job rn and it’s been kinda draining ^^’ I hope to have time to write on my next day off, which is Sunday!

Penelope waited for the others to get settled into place on top of her horse. She listened to Crow and Naida speak, smirking amusedly as the viceroy assured her that the adventurous journey was better. It was certainly a sentiment that the knight agreed with. While past adventures may have become nothing more than interesting stories to share now, she knew they didn't feel so interesting at the time. The knight hoped that their journey now would remain as peaceful as the first day.

Her green eyes flickered ahead as she noticed Otto eventually give the signal for them to depart. Ready to continue on towards Wellsprings, the female knight gave her horse a light kick and set into motion with the rest of the group. For a while, she road in silence. It was comfortable but soon she began to realize it was too comfortable. Though her soreness from the restless sleep was beginning to wear off, her tiredness wasn't as eager to disappear. Just when she thought it was beginning to go, the knight began to notice her eyelids felt heavy and that she was slouching more than usual on her horse as the beast's natural and steady movements relaxed her. Penelope took in a deep breath and sat up, attempting to fight off the craving to close her eyes.

Needing a distraction to fill the silence and help keep alert, she shifted her horse to ride a little closer to Crow. "Well, we didn't get the breakfast we wanted but at least we'll make good time to Wellsprings." she mused, giving her suitor a small smile. "Otto should at least allow us a warm dinner, I would hope." She also hoped for a bed but that hope she kept to herself.
Ok! No problem! :D

With The Council

Louis clearly was uncomfortable with Audrielle suddenly jumping in and voicing her interest in whatever Rene had to say. However, he couldn't object to his source blood, even if she didn't have her memories. Luckily for him, Audrielle didn't notice his discomfort as her attention was instead focused on Rene, listening with a hint of impatience as the source blood toyed with the others at the table. She supposed she shouldn't have been surprised. After all, Rene was never one to get straight to the point. He always seemed to dance around topics of discussion, in a way that seemed to usually irritate.

As Rene finally turned back to address her, the young source blood sat up a bit straighter. She blinked in mild surprise as Belmont suggested that she should have a guardian. Though not overly familiar with the position, it had been discussed prior in private between her and her caretakers. Aida had been the one to originally bring it up only for Louis to advise against it and ultimately change the other old blood's mind. From what she recalled, a guardian would be additional protection—in other words another person to hover over her—but it would also open a door to a more free lifestyle. A way to travel around without the constant fretting of Aida and Louis. Just thought of it lit a spark in the young lady's gaze.

While the wheels turned in her head, Louis stiffened at the suggestion. He disliked the idea of entrusting the young source blood with anyone aside from himself, Simon and Aida. The three were almost always on the same page, aside from the few times Aida strayed. Not to mention that it would allow her freedoms that had previously been off limits. It was a risk that Louis didn't want to take. "We've... discussed this topic privately." Louis admitted slowly as Rene turned his focus onto the two caretakers. "I don't believe it will be beneficial to her. After all, Aida and myself watch over her enough as it is. So, I must agree with Simon. I think it's unnecessary."

"I... I wouldn't completely say unnecessary." Came the soft voice of Aida. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat and swept her gaze over the council before focusing back onto Rene. "Added protection could be a good thing, as I doubt myself or Louis could do much under attack but I'm also hesitant to trust anyone in that position..." A small frown crossed her lips. The Lady Eve was still weak and a guardian was supposed to be a trusted warrior. Audrielle had very few interactions with the rest of their coven so Aida wasn't sure who would even fit the job. She had hoped that as the years passed, someone would rise to the occasion but no one had. To throw a stranger into that position wasn't something that Aida wanted to do.

But it didn't matter what Aida wanted.

A snort came from Audrielle. "I'm sure we could find someone to fill it just fine." The young source blood suddenly piped in. There was a gleam of excitement in her light hazel eyes. Freedom, if only a small portion, was in her grasp thanks to Belmont. While she doubted that was his intention, she wasn't going to let the opportunity slide away from her. "I agree with Rene. I think a guardian would be good for me. After all, I still have no memories and no powers. As you said Aida, some extra protection could be a good thing."

Louis turned his head to look over at Audrielle with a hint of surprise. It was the most input she had ever given at one of their council meetings and of course, it was for something that would threaten his plans. Trying to fight against the instinct to clench his jaw in frustration, he let out a soft sigh and ran a hand through his messy hair. "Lady Eve I understand why it might seem appealing but you would have to pick your guardian and well..." he paused, finding his words difficult to say without insulting the young source blood. ".. you're just not very familiar with most aside from myself and Aida. Picking a guardian would be difficult since they need to be someone you personally trust to protect you."

Audrielle rolled her eyes. It sounded like an excuse to her. "Well, I'm sure between you and Aida, you could figure out some proper options for me." she responded with a small snort. Her hazel gaze danced over to Rene and a smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. If Louis and Aida wouldn't provide suggestions she had a feeling she knew someone who would. While how trustworthy Belmont was was up for debate, surely he had someone in mind to be her guardian. That must have been why he brought it up and perhaps she could use that to her advantage when it came to persuading her reluctant caretakers.

"Besides Louis, if you can't think of anyone, I'm sure Rene here can recommend someone to me." Audrielle mused with an air of casualness as she looked expectantly at the source blood. "You brought the topic up so I'm assuming you have someone in mind for the position, right Rene?"
