Hello! This is Buzzingbee! I used to be on here as BuzzBee but I had some trouble. I had issues in real life that made me go off for a while and then when I was going to come back on, passwords, emails, etc were forgotten and lost. xD But I'm back and ready to jump into where I left off!

Daniel gave a small nod as she admitted to having never been to an engagement party. That was usually quite common for people in their early twenties. It was the only engagement party he had been to himself and likely the first of many to come if the rest of his friends followed in Trevor and Brandy’s footsteps. Pulled from his thoughts as she spoke again, he smirked and nodded his head. “I’m afraid that responsibility has fallen to you.” he agreed, with a small tilt of his drink in gesture.

As she went on to answer his question, he took a sip and listened as she explained that she had merely came out for fun. He had suspected as much considering it seemed she had only arrived with one friend. Daniel set his drink down and smiled flirtatiously in return as she commented on how ‘hot’ this particular spot was turning out. The way she bit her lower lip was plenty attractive to him, her flirting not going unappreciated. “Well, I definitely agree with you there.” he mused before giving a playful wink. “Not every day I get to ditch an engagement party and spent time with a woman as beautiful as yourself.”

When she went on to ask about how often he frequented the bar, Daniel shook his head. “Lucky for you, I don’t mind cliche.” Daniel smirked. “But to answer your question, no I don’t. Believe it or not, I don’t go out much.” He shrugged his shoulders as he answered rather truthfully to her question. There was no sense in lying about it in his opinion. If anything, he intended to use his lack of outings to his advantage. Since her interest in him didn’t seem to be wavering, he tested the waters a little more by leaning in a little closer to her, beginning to close the distance he had originally put between them. He would have started out with less distance if it hadn’t been for the scummy man that had been there before him. The last thing Daniel wanted to do was appear to be following in his footsteps.

“So I suppose we got lucky meeting here tonight.” He said meeting her gaze with an alluring smile. His expression broke slightly as his inviting smile shifted into a soft but teasing smirk. “Though if you’re one for cliches, we can call it fate.” he joked good-humoredly. Daniel wasn’t actually one for cliches himself but he knew some women were. His joke was a way of trying to determine if such things had an effect on her. She struck him as more of a realist but one could never be sure with someone they just met. Plus with a good natured joke wouldn’t have him coming off as completely corny if he tried something more direct.
Yeah xD Makes sense lol

I also find it funny how calculating they both are. They're both interested in each other in someway but it reads almost like a game of chest xD
This night was proving to be much more interesting than Daniel had originally expected it to be. He gave a small chuckle as the woman besides him responded to his joking with a playfulness of her own. As she spoke, he found himself wondering why she had even chosen to entertain the previous man’s advances. He didn’t dwell on the thought long, ultimately chalking it up to her prior words about giving the other man time merely because he bought her a drink. Instead, Daniel focused on her as she introduced herself to him. The smooth sound of her voice as she spoke made him listen with a little more care.

“Good meeting you as well.” he responded. Pulling his gaze away from her, he casually flagged down the bartender, motioning to her empty glass for a refill. His gaze didn’t stray from her for long though as she carried on the conversation. Turning back to her, he raised an eyebrow as she questioned about a business presentation until she made it clear she was inferring from his clothing with a touch to his arm. A smirk tugged at his lips, feeling a sense of satisfaction that his appearance had managed to convey a sense of importance. Though she likely hadn’t meant any stroke to ego with her words, it was still nice to know that his work to his appearance paid off. Even if it did nothing for him career wise at the moment, at least it had caught her attention.

“No, not tonight at least.” Daniel said with a shrug. He attempted to tread the thin line between arrogance and humbleness. It was a way of confirming her inferences about him while still avoiding coming off as a self centered businessman. Or rather, politician as he aimed to be. While his words may have suggested other success, his tone and body language remained neutral. “I was actually celebrating a friend’s engagement.. Although just to avoid concerns, it’s not that friend.” he smirked as he nodded towards where Eric and the redhead were. Despite the quick glance, Daniel caught how close the two were and the subtle touches namely coming from his friend in that moment. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the coyness in his friend’s gestures.

Instead, he looked back to Alex and gave a lopsided smile. “Decided to give them some time to themselves. They’re in their own little world right now so I doubt they even noticed we left.” he explained with a glint of amusement in his gaze. Of course, that was a heavy exaggeration of the truth. But he wasn’t about to tell her that he had chosen to leave the party early because she had caught his attention. He doubted that would reflect well on him. “Engagement parties aren’t exactly a thrilling once the couple starts ignoring everyone else.”

Daniel shrugged his shoulders and lifted his drink to his lips, taking another sip. “What about yourself?” he asked curiously. “Just having a night out or did you have something to celebrate too?” His dark gaze remained on her face as he spoke before discreetly drifting down lower. He couldn’t help but try to subtly admire the curves to her figure for a moment before bringing his gaze back up to met hers for her reply.
Honestly xD

Oh damn lol good luck xD I still have some time before my posts get huge lol
It had been a warmer greeting than the knight had been expecting. Penelope blinked in surprise as Alistair and Rikki scrambled over to her, the former even wrapping her up in a hug. After being the reason for Crow’s departure, she had expected a little more hesitancy at her appearance and perhaps some resentment from the thieves. While Rikki still kept a small distance, it seemed that Alistair held nothing against her. As for Hazel, well, the knight liked to think they were on good terms as well. Stepping back from Alistair, her gaze flickered over to Rikki as she questioned about Crow.

“He’s not with me but he is currently in Silverpool.” Penelope began with a small smile. Her gaze flickered over to the herbalist as she walked over to join them. She was about to go onto relay the message he had given her when Alistair spoke up, giving her a questioning gaze and crossing his arms over his chest.

“Why’s he in Silverpool? Last time he wrote us, I thought you two were planning some party.” He pointed out with a hint of confusion.

“We were. That was about a week ago. After that, we were able to convince the king to try to end the war with Younis peacefully.” Penelope explained with a small shrug. “The king didn’t waste anytime so Crow’s already on his way to Younis to negotiate with their king. With any luck, this war will soon be over.” Though she was glad to inform the thieves about the progress they were already making in the inner kingdom, that wasn’t the reason for her sudden visit. Waving her hand dismissively before the topic could be discussed further, she went on to add, “Anyways, I’m here because Crow wants to see you all. He said to tell you to meet him by the fallen tree halfway to Silverpool… I’m hoping you know what that means.”
Fair xD It fits because Eric isn't the intellectual type lol If he had gone against a Chad, he would have just gone for a more physical/slightly aggressive way of getting in between them xD

Daniel's more calm and collected and a little detached from his emotions cx Eric is loud and emotional so basically the opposite lol
Of course when backed into a corner, this man had reacted in a rather heated way. Daniel watched as he suddenly grabbed the woman they were both vying for by her hip and pull him into his side. It made Daniel’s calm and slightly arrogant demeanor break as his eyes widened in surprise. He wasn’t sure what to make of this new situation until she finally spoke up against the other man for the first time. Now knowing where she stood with this other man made Daniel tense up at his next words. This guy’s revolting. he thought clenching his jaw slightly. “Hey man lea—“ he began with a stern tone, taking a small step forward to intervene when the woman suddenly threw her drink onto the man holding her.

Daniel blinked, caught off guard, and quickly took a step back to avoid the additional splash as the liquor hit the other man’s face. Now standing back, he watched the exchange between the two with a hint of interest. It seemed that not only did the box of a man lack brain power but he was terribly full of himself. Apparently even enough to expect that he was entitled to something from just buying a measly drink. Daniel wasn’t the most upstanding gentleman—though that was more due to his pickiness in partners—but even he looked down on such scumbags. He watched as the man struggled at her words, unable to give her name before finally giving up. As he shot one last glower at him, Daniel smirked at him tauntingly in response.

As the silent victor of the petty competition over a woman at the bar, Daniel moved to take up the now open spot next to her, albeit leaving a little more room between them than the previous man had. Though he had just been attracted over by her looks, he had to admit that she had spark his interest even further by how she had chosen to handle the last guy’s unwanted advances. It wasn’t every day he got the satisfaction of seeing a well deserving asshole getting a drink splashed in his face after all. Daniel even took a little pride in knowing he had caused for that to happen sooner rather than later.

“Hardly. I'll just take whatever amount of time you're willing to give me.” Daniel chuckled. He paused glancing towards the bartender before looking back to her with a grin, flashing his pearly whites in the process. “Although I’ll buy you a refill on that drink if you’d like. You know, just in case you need to throw it at me or someone else.” He added jokingly. It might have been a while since he had last had the chance to mingle with women at the bar but he wasn’t one to forget just how to act. Whether it was just for a short time, the night or even longer, Daniel had the intention to win her over.

Setting his drink down on the counter, his smile softened slightly as he met her gaze. “I’m Daniel by the way. May I ask who you are?”
Honestly xD It's going to be such a mess here on out lol
Although they'll probably get a small break when they finally get married cx Right before news of Eyaris and Gorm coming in lol
“I love you too.” Penelope murmured after he touched one last kiss to her lips. As Crow let her go, she stepped away and made her way over to her horse. Reluctantly, she pulled herself up into the saddle and settled in. The knight casted a glance over towards the departing group, her gaze following them for a moment as she silently prayed for them to have a safe journey. Pulling her gaze away, she changed directions from them and began to head further west. While parting was hard, she intended to waste no more time in getting both to Crow’s old companions as well as her own.

It had been such a long time since she had traveled alone that she had forgotten how quiet it was. Without any chatter or even the presence of others, the sounds that were normally just vaguely in the background became much easier to hear. The wind blowing the trees, the few birds still around despite the colder weather and even the sound of her horse’s hooves against the ground all seemed amplified. Over all, it just made the journey seem much more dull though she did find a bit of peacefulness in it.

She also found that traveling alone was much quicker. At least, it felt that way. With no one else around and solely focused on getting to her destination, she set a fairly steady pace. She only took a small break to let her horse drink and graze by the river about halfway through. Once she felt they were both ready to continue, she hopped back on her stead and carried onward. Eventually she rode off the main trail and into the woods, recalling where the old waterfall hide out was. It may have been a while since she was last there, but she had been around it plenty enough to memorize the route. All she could do was hope that the group of thieves were still living there.

It was early evening when she had arrived, the sun just beginning it’s descent. Penelope stopped her horse near the river side and tied it to a nearby tree. Looking around the area, it seemed quiet as a usual forest would but that didn’t mean anything. The waterfall had always been a rather secure spot for the thieves, largely because it was so well hidden and because the noise of the water could drowned out their talking from behind. Here’s to hoping they didn’t have to move for some reason… she thought as she began to approach, keeping her guard up. Though she trusted that the thieves wouldn’t be aggressive towards her, that didn’t mean they wouldn’t be aggressive towards a knight. She didn’t want to chance one coming back from a hunt or something and only seeing her from the back. The last thing she needed was to be stabbed in the back before she had a chance to tell them about Crow.

Penelope made her way cautiously up the back of the waterfall and peered into the cave. “Hazel, Alistair, Rikki?” she called out as she stepped into view.
Daniel was a little jealous Eric had it so easy xD but Daniel also really enjoyed taking jabs at Chad lol
