The nuclear radiation from the bomb causes intense heat to evaporate the churning waters, all starting from how much foam it was making!

Tempting as either two options might've been, Iosef couldn't risk either while he was still in the heart of the city. Panickly, he ran towards the nearest guard, and grabbed its shoulder.

"I need to get to the Endless Deserts! Which way was it, again?"

Kaya Mishiba

Kaya was...certainly impressed with the vivacity of her peers. Blasting all their auras without a care in the world was just amazing and all, but...

...if she wasn't going to best anyone in a straight-on fight (or so she thought, but it's not like she's ever fought anyone yet).

It was probably the reason why she was first to get back to her room, which was only about a mile away. By bus, she dropped off right at the corner of what appeared to be an upscale apartment complex, which she gained access to using her ID. Baggage pieces were deposited in a corner, and lo and behold, when the lights flipped on, what fell before her eyes was a suite not unlike her own house. Textile-plank floors, matte-cream walls, sharply accented marble counters in the kitchen...but at least it felt right at home, or so she thought. There weren't any of the familiar spice jars, nor was the dining table scratched from years of casual usage, nor was there that distinct depression in the sofa in the living room. Everything was almost too new. If that was that, all Kaya had to do was just reserve the couch as hers using her baggage, and slip her way back out towards the Academy. A thought lingered in her mind for a little, prompting Kaya to run back into the house and go through the pantry.

Holy hell, there were potato chips. Goodbye wheat crackers! After downing a few glasses of tap-water, Kaya snuck two little bags out and ran right on out...before bouncing into Aki's chin with her forehead.

"Ow...oh, sorry! I'll be back at the Academy, so...um, yeah! There's ice in the freezer if I gave you bruise...ehehe..."

That was just GREAT, Kaya. One more enemy to put up with, thanks to your klutzy self.

Before Aki could say much of anything, Kaya was heading straight towards the Academy, walking a bit faster than usual...

Iosef, the hob, clung to one of the great walls that constituted the Marble Castle's power with an ear cupped. The murmur of thousands, regardless of how loud the king was speaking, was deafening enough.

Still, he wanted to be faster than most in the pursuit, and as soon as the name Earthrent came into his ears, he was paying attention. He'd probably miss out on the lordship and the castle, given his demi-human status, but if those 200,000 bars of gold could buy him holy charms to defend his village against the likes of his mother, by all means...

The Endless Deserts?

Iosef dropped off the castle walls, and into the crowd. Like a few dozen others, he was sprinting, bobbing, and weaving his way out.

Could he steal a horse? Maybe. Just when he was farther out the city walls. Lord knows how much sprinting that would have to take...

For a moment, the djinn looked between all the other rebels to-be, and though she might've had a million judgements passed onto them in her mind, she nods, and looks at Mirage before looking back at Edward. Somewhere along the line, she was hoping for the opposite answer, but there would be many more customers open with unity. Once this war passes, her family still needed to have that trade to fall back on.

"Will you need our company now, or do you have another task in mind?"
Khadila sighed, and finally let out the question she had been meaning to ask for a while...

"Will our goals seek to revert the races' states as before Kaaos had taken our lands, or will we be continuing this...experiment of unity, even after Kaaos's downfall? I ask this only to prepare myself to act in the best interest of either of these goals; what Kaaos has done has given us a common enemy, but...I do fear our success, sometimes..."

Her ankles rubbed against each other as her eyes trailed to just below Edward's face, and waited for any objections or clarifications.
After a few minutes had passed, Khadila hopped off of the wench's lap, and gave a slight bow as thanks for the service as a glorified seat. With tiny pitter-patter steps, the small djinn wove her way through the crowds of drunks, gamblers, and other unfortunates to the bartender.

"Can we begin this night, again, with...hmm..."

Within the folds of her robes, she procures 200 pieces of gold to hand over to the bartender.

"...a few kegs of ale? I almost fell asleep with so much liveliness around me. Fairly certain the birds and bees here might get buzzing again if they had another draught bubbling in their guzzards, hm?"
