Following Fredricka deeper into the forest, he eyed the surroundings during the walk. Paying attention to the mellow atmosphere of the forest, the animals that occasionally showed up here and there, the sounds that he believed would be associated with nature. He was definitely enjoying his time here, even if his face didn't show it. He just wanted to notice each detail he could catch while he was here.

After a bit, they came upon a clearing, allowing a chance to give their feet a bit of a break from the walking, even though it wasn't that much walking. Djhango just felt a bit lazy at the moment. Probably the atmosphere of the place was making him feel that way. Fredricka sat down on a stone and smiled up at him and Sasha. "I usually come here when I want to relax. It's also... where I sleep. So, if you ever want to find me, I'd probably be here." She told them. Really? She slept here? Even though he enjoyed the forest, Djhango thought about what it would be like for him to sleep out here... and he'd be worried about if some creature would attack him while he slept. Fredricka soon asked them if they enjoyed the forest. Djhango nodded. "Absolutely. It really has been too long since I've seen nature." He said with a smile. "This was a good way to start my first day here, thank you."
editted my post, sorry about that.
The forest from his own eyes appeared to be pretty large and peaceful to the eyes, and despite his question, he more than likely could have found out himself if he climbed to the largest tree and flew from there as the being he really was. However, he didn't feel comfortable to "change" infront of anyone. He wouldn't look like a completely different being(at least in his head), but to other eyes, the change would more than likely be drastic to them. His current company of Sasha and Fredricka was pleasant and calm; which he kept telling himself, but just as his own appearance could change quickly, so could their thoughts.

Wait, did Fredricka just say she wasn't born the way she was? As a half-fox? What in the world could have possibly happened to her? She giggled, but Djhango couldn't understand why one would laugh about something like that...

"Why don't I just ask?" She said when a small blue bird flew to her. Ask who? She didn't mean the bird? A quizzical expression came upon Djhango's face as he watched her speak to the creature. And apparently the bird answered the question. He felt a bit of distrust, if only for his own reasons as he crossed his arms in front of him. Not of the bird, but of Fredricka. Even though it WAS after all a school of all sorts of creatures, and a talent like that shouldn't be so surprising here, he could never exactly know for sure if someone was just pulling his leg. It was his own short-comings that made him skeptical of others, so it wasn't there fault. After all, if he wanted to, he could find out how vast the forest was himself...

Sasha believed her, and he saw no reason as to what anyone would gain from it. Even though his arms were still crossed. He smiled. Probably was time for him to loosen up a bit more. "I agree with Sasha, so long as your willing. It would be nice to explore here for a bit."

He listened to the two talk for a bit, all the while looking around the forest. Nature certainly was quite different than a concrete jungle. He looked up to the trees, feeling a slight urge to perch on a branch like a bird and watch the surroundings. Although turning to look behind him, he saw a number of small animals trailing behind. Especially one squirrel who was staying rather close to Sasha. "Looks like someone has a little "friend". Djhango said with a smirk.
I'll wait for a Sasha post before posting again
Got my post up :D
Fredricka giggled after her last statement and motioned for Djhango and Sasha to follow her. He turned his head to Sasha and gave a smile and a nod before walking onward to the forest the fox-woman spoke of. He hoped his words didn't offend her in anyway, but what was said was said. Djhango decided if the forest was interesting enough to him, then he might visit it from time to time, if just to get away from the bustling school halls. That, and if barely anyone or if no one was there, he could probably stretch his hidden wings and fly around a bit.

"I'm sorry but, I don't think I caught your name?" Fredricka asked him. Did he forget to introduce himself to her? He was almost sure he had. No bother either way he supposed. "Ah, my name is Djhango. Apologies." He answered her. This time he had a question for her, tilting his head down to look at her. "If I may ask, how vast is the forest we are heading to?"
The centaur soon left with the boy who had bumped into him, leaving Djhango with the two women. It was always a bit awkward being the only male in the group but, the two of them seemed pretty nice and calm. Sasha agreed to go to the forest with Fredricka, and just as Djhango was about to open his mouth to speak his own response, a girl apologized as she literally jumped over all of them in a bit of a mad dash. He turned his head to follow where the girl went and blinked a few times as he stared in the direction she went. "I shouldn't be surprised in a place like this for that to happen. But I don't think I'll be able to get used to random moments like that..." He thought.

A forest could be just as peaceful as a garden. Coming from a city, legitimate nature was rare. It would be a welcomed new sight. And these two seemed as though they were two calm individuals, so why not. Djhango turned his attention back to Fredricka. "I would like that. I barely get to see nature as it is so, I would like to come along with you as well if you don't mind." He told her with a nod and a slight smile.

But when,Sasha suddenly turned away from them, he looked at her with a bit of concern and confusion; his smile fading away. It wasn't long before she turned around and said "Forgive me." Which added a bit more to his thoughts. Did something happen when he wasn't looking or something? It was probably better not to ask as he believed it would be intruding, and they had just met. So, for him, the best response was just to pay it no mind, and act casual. "No need to apologize, we should probably be on our way before more people jump over us ... Kind of shocked that girl didn't just leap straight into my face though..." He joked a bit.
I can't bloody stand these avatars, I feel like I should be shitting glitter >_>
Well, his question was answered , and more and more students who attended the academy were flocking to the area. Both had a pleasant tone of grace to them; One who appeared to be half-woman, half-fox, and another who appeared human, but something about her was intimidating. Probably just new student jitters he was feeling, all he had to do was shrug it off.

Djhango shook his head at the centaur's(?) question. He didn't know the academy well enough yet to direct anyone anywhere. And he wouldn't feel right to give anyone directions. He turned his attention to the newest of the newcomers as she was introducing herself. The fox-woman introduced herself, and Djhango thought it would be rude of him not to introduce himself as well before asking any questions. "My name is Djhango, pleased to meet you all. I don't do well with large groups myself." He said with a half-smile. Truth be told, large groups didn't bother him. Large groups of strangers did slightly. Only slightly. "Personally, I was just trying to look for the easiest way to the gardens to relax somewhere a bit. It is nice to be able to meet a few of the other students here."
Two steps away from the door, Djhango paused for a moment. A six sense told him something happened, something unusual and alien to him. He shrugged it off and continued to walk. Looking down at the map, he pondered where would be his next destination. Maybe the gardens? Sure, why not he thought. It wasn't like he had much to do or go to anyway. Nice scenery would be pretty soothing to his eyes.

He continued to stare at the map, making sure he wouldn't get lost but picked up his head to make sure he wouldn't bump into somebody. With a decent pace, he eventually came upon the central hall. "Alright, so from here... I go... this way?" Djhango thought as he scanned around for the next path he needed to take to arrive at the gardens. His eyes also scanned at all the different creatures around the area. Some appeared human, and some who didn't resemble a human in the slightest. Although one of the said "didn't resemble a human in the slightest" creatures was standing around, possibly waiting for somebody. The person resembled a centaur but appeared to be more... not threatening like one. Maybe this person knew where the exact way as to where the garden was, because the map Djhango held barely got him to the dorms lets alone any of the sections in the academy.

"Uh, excuse me... but do you happen to know which way the garden is-" Djhango asked as he approached the centaur(?) before being cut off by a boy who bumped into the creature. "Oh, sorry!" The boy apologized. Djhango's eyes tensed up a bit in confusion. "There's a half-man, half-horse/deer(?) standing in front of you, and you didn't notice?" He thought to himself.
