Territory Overview

The Federation has little in the ways of anything that would interest the other nations. Everything they have most other nations have. The only interesting thing they have other then their gate, L301,would be the planet of Beltan. This world while heavily populated has a number of historical sites and ancient ruins of the past great Beltan civilizations. The Beltan run tours and educational classes about their proud heritage and history.

The beltan are the native species of the Lacedaemon system. These bipedal mammals characteristically have skin of a crimson-hue, although infants of the species appeared a lighter shade of red until they reach maturity. Males of the species tend to stand anywhere between 6 foot and 6'5, females on the other hand Stand at highest 5'6 and 6'1. The Beltan show a aptitude for Science and history as, who ever don't enlist in the Federation military, tend to become teachers translators, ambassadors or work in science or archaeological professions.
While technically A Conquered People the Beltan enjoy the same rights and privileges the Lacedaemons have, down to owning land and doing federal service.

Sciritae 10%
A conquered race of Short "Crab people" Like the beltan they are free, They excel as Farmers,ranchers,Engineers and construction due to their tough outer shells. While they excel in these positions by most species standards the Sciritae are rather dumb, as they don't know what to do outside of their professions.

The Raza Used as pets/Guard animals and the inspiration of the Much beloved Raza children's plush toy. As a whole when trained They can be loving companions and fierce protectors. The raza are omnivores with a preference for living prey, that can described as "Fish-dogs"

Cultural Overview

The Lacedaemon are a very militaristic people, who have designed even their civilian population to be militarized. With cities designed to assist the defender in holding the city. The common style of the Lacedaemons consists of military style gear, with various patterns of Camouflage covering Most common place things like T-shirts, Work gear, vehicles and even underwear. Thats not to say there aren't other styles within Lacedaemon culture, these are just things almost everyone has to some degree. Most outer wear like coats or jackets are lined with ballistic weave and allow for the insertion of Ballistic plates. Even "high fashion" of Lacedaemon had a utilitarian vibe, With dress designs for the party scene while also being capable being used in "combat conditions."
While They put a strong emphsis on the mililtary the Lacedaemons maintain, at the very least, civil relations with other powers.

The Beltan are a very friendly race, often acting as ambassadors and translators for the Lacedaemon. They a re a very "Colorful and can always be found making music,singing or telling stories. They are cultural heart of the Federation, Many chose to enlist in the Federation armed forces or in scientific professions.

Sciritae
Basic Bipedal humanoid that is good with technical and manual labor. while many stay on their home world the ones that do leave tend to Enlist in the Federation navy as engineers. AS a whole the species are a very gentle race that will only fight if directly threatened.

Background: Alex was a lost soul in the real world. He worked a dead end job as mechanic, and was in his sixth year as a second year college student. Life was, as his girlfriend would describe his outlook, "A number of shades of grey." The few friends Alex had tended to only want to be friends with him when they can get something out of the deal. There was only two things in his life that brought any color to his grey life, his Mother Hannah and his girlfriend Alexis. It was thanks to Alexis, that he got into the online game Elder Tales.
The two originally met while in high school. The two met while Alex was browsing a local gaming store, while Alexis was working there. It was Alexis that got Alex into playing Elder Tales and became his the first and greatest of his friends. She had bought him The game as a "New friends gift" and showed him how to play. The game opened up a whole new world for Alex, when his life had once been just grey, not he had a beautiful water color. Alexis and Alex quickly became closer and closer, Taking every opportunity to spend time together in and outside of Elder Tales. After a few years the two began to become romantically involved. Life lasted like this for a number of years until a week before the apocalypse. Alexis was moving servers, as for the last two weeks she had been living as an exchange student in Korea. In order to play with friend in her timezone she needed to move servers. While Alex was sad he understood and Alexis promised she would move it back when she came home. Then the apocalypse happened.
In Game History: Alex was lost, all he cared for ripped away. The few friends he had were busy with their own guilds or securing their own safety. Alex walked the server, seeing his new world. He saw the Landers struggle as the players floundered for themselves. There was no real order to life, it was terrible to see all the he once loved thrown into chaos. As he walked He got into contact with several of his closest friends. For the first few days they did nothing but just sit and stumble around, unsure of what to do. Slowly the group of five meandered through the server taking on odd jobs for no other reason then to have something to do. Slowly they came to the realization, this was their new world. They were stuck here for better or for worse, they needed to make the best of it. quickly the group started brain storming ideas for what they could do. The could join a guild and be forced to take order with a group of people they didn't know or respect, or they could form their own guild. They decided to form a guild if for no other reason then they already knew how to work with each other. What kind of Guild would they form? A military guild like almost all the others that would have mammoth competition right out of the gate? A production guild that again faced huge obstacles when it came to recruitment and sales? After a long while Lamba was formed, since then Alex and ther others have began to form their information base across the server.
Guild/Position: Senior member/ Co Founder of Lamba
Lamba is a guild is made up of two groups within the Guild. The members and the associates, The members tend to be very secretive and don't interact much with others outside of the lander representatives whos job it is to find work. The Associates are those who have Temporary or those who belong to other Guilds. They seem to know very little about the inner workings of the guild, as they only get contacted by the members when Information or for missions.
The guild seems to have major backing with Landers as a number of governments employ them in one way or another, with jobs ranging from caravan guards to Military adviser roles. Due to their renown as spy's and for their subterfuge a number of player guilds often employ them to get information on certain players, Landers and groups. On the rare occasion, some have even hired them for assassination missions, though these seem few and far between. Outside of these darker means of employment, Lamba has be active in the lander communities, offering help to those in need. These acts range from clearing out monsters to offering charity in the form of food and clothing. On at least two occasions they have been found to help rebuild towns and villages damaged by monster raids.
They prefer to work with Landers over players.
Personality: Alex is a very stoic and laconic man, often times uttering only a few words through out an hour long conversation. He takes his job and position very seriously, as he could always be found out working with his men during the day and in their Guild hall working on paper work late into the night. On the few cases he has free time, he spends time reading or playing with the stray cat Misha that seems to have taken a liking to him. Alex knows that he must be strong and tough to lead his guild mates, as many are younger then him with a large amount having families and people who cared about them back in the real world. Alex tries his hardest to not to let his own sadness show, as he has two people he thinks about every day. His mother Hannah and Girlfriend Alexis, the joke he is well aware of, are constantly on his mind. Alex can be gruff upon first contact but always tries to be friendly, often times coming across as stiff and awkward at the best of times.

The Blade of Hate is a black bladed Tanto knife with red runes carved into the blade. The handle consists of a Black handle with red wrappings and brass guard. The weapon does bonus critical damage when the enemy is caught by surprise.

- The Red Cloak-
While it is called a Cloak it is a two piece set made up of two hand woven pieces from his girlfriend consisting of the top piece and Waist protection. Other then being warm on a cold night and protection from the elements while on the road, it offers little to no protection in combat.
-Mask of the Fallen-
These Bandages have been used to treat the wounded in the past, the essence of heroes drive the wearer to go beyond their limits. Provides a HP boost the wearer.

Dominic is like man boys from his country. From a young age he was taught the difference between right and wrong along with what it meant to be a man. dominic was raised to refer to his elders as sir or ma’am, to take his cap off in doors, To women Dominic was brought up to be chivalrous and with children Dominic was raised to be gentle. The biggest trait Dominic has is his views on doing what is right. Weather its defending some who is being picked on or Enlisting to serve values he believes are worth dying for.
While Dominic enlisted to go fight for the federation, it wasn’t without moral dilemmas. Dominic is terrified of what could happen to him. Dominic knows full well that he could die, or lose a limb. Even if he survives the war, there was no guarantee Dominic would come home without being effected. even with all the worries he had, he views it as a necessary sacrifice.

Biography
Dominic was born outside the small seaside city of Calif, on the western coast of Vinland, Dominic’s father ran a small ranch, after his retirement from the military Diego was in need of a way to keep him busy and have some income the supplement his retirement income. Life was fairly simple, helping his father work and learning what it meant to be a hard working man. Growing up Dominic would beg his father to tell him stories from his time in the military. Dominic’s favorite stories were always the ones of his father and his buddy Dominic,his name sake and a man the young boy revered. The two always seemed to survive the everything during the various “military actions” his father saw. The one thing that was a constant was how his father carried a photo of his mother through it all, often pulling it out to show him the “battle scars” of being with him on deployment.
As a young boy Dominic would always be found playing army with his friend Jasmine sinclair and Benjamin Carmine. Life was so simple, The three would run various raids on make believe enemy camp’s being awarded medals that they made out of various bits of trash. The proudest award Dominic was awarded was the “medal of Braveness, for helping Ben raid the enemy camp for sweets.” If they were lucky, Dominic elder sister Alejandra would make appearances often helping lead glorious charges on her mounted cavalry winning the war for Vinland.
Life was simple for Dominic with school and his childish whimsy broken up by the Work dominic did with his father on their ranch.it wasn’t until dominic’s 15th year, during the first year of the war. The only thing on Dominic’s mind was enlisting. Sadly he had to wait till he was 17, per his father's orders, like his sister before him. Dominic remembered that night clearly with curiosity. During school days, Alejandra meet him after class and walk home with him and the two would talk about their respective days. That day she was nearly an hour late, arriving quiet and lost in thought. As they arrived home and headed up the front steps she stopped Dominic and said “Remember Dom I love you so much and no matter what happens just remember I love you” before giving him a big long hug and than enter their house. Later that night around the dinner table She gave the news. “I’ve enlisted in the Army.” The statement silenced the entire room. not even the crickets outside made noise. After a moment of silence Dominic’s mother simply said “No...and That's that” before standing up and leaving the room. After a moment of silence Diego stood and gently with a forced smile asked Dominic to take his sister and go up to their rooms. As dominic ascended the steps with his sister in toe, he expected a lot of yelling and screaming. But to his surprise there was nothing, After an hour or some Alejandra came up stairs with plates of their now cold dinner. Later that night Diego called his son into his study. “Dominic..my son… I know you want to enlist… I understand the call to serve...its what drove me to enlist so many years ago… but as parents Your mother and I can’t send two of our children off to war…” he said, barely able to keep his voice even. “I know that I won’t be able to keep you from enlisting at 17… but at least wait until you are 17.”
In a few weeks following the conversation Alejandra left for basic training, soon after Benjamin enlisted and shipped off for Basic. Dominic would write weekly letters to both of them , keeping them appraised of life back home. The letters were often filled with promises of him joining them soon and how things would be after the fighting.Now all alone Dominic worked around his father's ranch, keeping up with newspapers about the front, taking note of familiar names and making sure to try and say a prayer for as many as he could. it was during one of these weekly counts that Dominic found a name he had prayed he would never have to see in the paper this way. Near the top of the list that week was Benjamin Carmine. Later that same day The final Letter from Benjamin arrived.
This crushed him as attended his best friend funeral, meeting Private Thomas Alderman, The man who Benjamin spent his last few hours with before getting killed by an Imperial rifleman. a few weeks later on Dominic was called into his father's study by his mother. Diego called his son into his study once more. Diego sat with a box smack dab in the room when Dominic entered. Diego said one thing “remember the stories I told you of Uncle Dominic and I?” before pulling out a yellow and faded photo. On it two young men dressed in well ironed and pressed uniforms stood together smiling. One was clearly his father, barely older than Dominic was now. “That's him...That is the man you are named after… We were best friends growing up, we did everything together… He was killed during some fight in the south…” Diego said with a shaky voice. “I left my best friend lying in a pool of blood Dominic… its thanks to Him I survived and got married. He gave his life for me to live on…. I still see his face when I close my eyes… You have no idea how many times I wish I could have stayed with him and died lying there next to him…” For a half an hour Diego sat there recounting the last moments of his Best friend's life before asking “Are you prepared to die for those next to you? or have people you care about dying for you?”
The realities of war had crossed his mind many times, he knew that war wasn’t like those childrens games he used to play.He understood the very real reality that he could very well never come back, or if he did he would never be the same person. But he come to a decision. “Father I won’t lie to you...I am terrified that when I go over I won’t be coming back. That you and Mother will get a knock on the door one day with a folded flag, god forbid two...But you once told me… Courage is not the absence of fear...but acting in opposition to that fear… I will enlist because I know it’s right and that I can’t have others fight a war that I can fight myself.”
Three weeks later Dominic was off to Basic training with the MOS of Infantry. During Basic training Dominic learned a number of things while at basic. How to march,shoot,stab, and follow orders. After the 13 weeks of basic training and eight weeks of infantry training Dominic was sent to a reserve unit until Dominic was assigned to a Federation unit at the front. Having only just arrived two days before he was sent to front line reserve trenches.

Brother: Jose Silva (1) just a baby not much to him, likes milk, poops a lot and is kind of pudgy.
Friend: Anthony Jenkins (17) Friend from Basic training. Currently waiting to be deployed.
Jasmine Sinclair(17): dating/ enlisted in the Vinland home guard.
Benjamin Carmine(17 at time of death): Best friend ,killed during an offensive with the 22nd infantry division during the second year of the war.
